Ad Vitam - Evening

Lux still showed no hesitation in mouthing his head off and constantly being a chatterbox at the main party's table. The constant talking of wondrous deeds and how he can use his powers of the darkness to aid those who strive in the light...constantly irritated the quick-to-action Alex. Samuel's constant badgering on the two of them stating that both should just relax and calm down did not do much to aid in simmering down the constant badgering of Lux. The anger inside Alex slowly rose as the Tales of the Dark and Mysterious Lux told by the man himself constantly fueled his rage...though Nimueh was thoroughly entertained by just Lupa seeming to tell her a tale of the tastiest meals that she encountered in her lifetime, most of them being found here in the tavern. Gabriel, as the two females chatted, tries to join the conversation as well but was rapidly disgusted or had to excuse himself for brief moments whenever they mention the cannibalistic acts they do to their other fellow organisms. 

Okami, on the other hand, goes over to the party that seemed to be friends of Lux...only to notice one of the strangers for some reason constantly cringing every so often after speaking with the females of the group. He does try to come over and offer some aid, thinking that Samuel can control the other situation. Not able to catch what the warrior and the women were talking about (their group finalizing what their deal and agreement is), he is rejected from offering any aid to the man...though does tell the warrior that if he needs any aid of such, just ask Okami and he'll try to find a way to help him. 

The situation back at his table not being fixed by Samuel, Alex eventually just excused himself to head back home. He does tell Samuel and Okami that he'll be back in the morning when the group manages to regroup here back at Ad Vitam. Okami and Samuel agree with him and Lux soon leaves the group temporarily...though does manage to catch the details about them forming a group of exploring the Tower. He badgers out quite loudly to everyone in the tavern how he could be a great aid to their party being formed...which Okami takes half-heartedly due to how the man constantly preferred to refer to himself in the third person. Samuel, on the other hand, convinced by the wise Spirit of Lux's to give Lux a chance in proving his worth and ends up convincing Okami to approve too. Lux's loud outburst of delight does reach the other small group of the woman (and her Spirits) and the wounded warrior.

Everyone returns to their quarters for the night, as the brief darkness (more like weeks of darkness) was finally reaching a close...

"Hehe don't worry there Feon, we're partners and pals I hope. Whenever you feel ready, just let me know. Hmmm the armory idea...that'd be fun checking out the place. You want to check it out tonight quickly or would you rather head out tomorrow? I'm fine with either time period, heck I can probably make up some documents of sorts up if I can get a brief look at what is exactly needed for getting a visit to the armory. Though I doubt I'd find anything in there that'd be able to match my inventions in there hehe."

Pholus snickers a bit at the thought of the people in the town making a sort of extravagant invention that can surpass his master's or his own inventions. He does give Feon a friendly smile when saying the beginning of his little conversation, hoping to comfort her in some way. The inventor was getting more and more interested in the woman, which was quite apparent on his face...though not really in the romantic way. More so on what makes her "tick" and such.
