Miz saw the incident from afar. It seemed that a young man bumped into a girl and almost knocked her over and then yelled at her...He wondered if it was simply because she was a sea dweller..."Hmm...why all the rivalry?" he thought to himself. His face must have showed it too because an older man, a teacher from the looks of it who was standing close to him said "It'll take some getting used to."

The girl was beautiful. That is what made it so hard to understand...why would someone be so mean to someone just because they came from the ocean. If it was a land dweller and he had bumped into her he would be apologizing right and left and probably fumbling his words because of confrontation with such a pretty girl...yet one thing made her unattractive.

He thought about going over and talking to the girl but before he could get the chance she was being drug away by another girl...hmm...maybe things will get better after people get settled in.
Sean unpacked the drinks and put them behind the bar. The letter had a list of numbers to call: A band, a bartender, and an equipment guy. Each of them were paid and hired by "T"...Sean just had to call them. He called the equipment guy first, in charge of lights, speakers, and what Sean soon found out was a giant inflatable waterslide...seemed like a plan.

The phonecall lasted a few seconds and the man on the other line simply said "Are you there?"

A few minutes later a van pulled up and a group of about 10 guys came out. All in jeans and a black shirt, sunglasses, and black converse. Another van pulled up, this one more like a box truck. One of the men slid the back door of the box truck up and revealed electronics and wires. They set them up in a matter of minutes and lastly rolled out a 32 foot tall inflatable waterslide...this was going to be awesome. There was no water in the building so the men hooked a firehose to the hydrant out front.

"Isn't that illeg..." Sean started, but before he could finish one of the men said..
"Don't worry, you wont get in trouble...we have people. There wont be any cops or ambulances within a 10 mile radious of this building tonight...so don't let anyone die." The man said with a completely straight face.

The slide was completely inflated by this point and just barely grazed the ceiling of the first floor. There was a pool of water at the bottom about 4 foot deep. Tonight was going to be the biggest party this guys had seen in their lives. Still, Sean felt somewhat guilty that the man pulling the strings was not going to get to enjoy it.

"Do you guys know T?" He asked the closest black shirt
"Yes...play your cards right and you will too." The man replied.
Sean couldnt help but smile at the thought, "Hmm... tell him I said thank you."
Character Name: Tareon Lightfoot

Race: Elf

Age: 21

Likes: Archery, Fishing, Reading and Gardening

Dislikes: Loud Noises

Role: Fisherman/Fish Seller (I'm going to suggest that fish are to "stupid" for elves to read the minds and emotions of, if that is ok...otherwise this would be a very terribly and demented job for an elf.)

Bio: Tareon grew up in the forest, his father taught him how to shoot a bow. One day a group of barbarians destroyed the elvish village, killing almost everyone. Tareon was spared because he was a child and hid. The only possessions he had afterwards were his bow and arrows. He spent his time learning to bow fish and became good enough that he could fend for himself before exploring the forest and finding the village of Erihurst. He found that he could settle in the little town and make a living selling the fish he caught. After a few years an old man saw his occupation and suggested he learn to "Catch fish, rather than kill them" and he took up fishing with a rod. He now sells fish for both food and pets and lives a more quiet and peaceful life than he did in the elvish village in the woods.

Appearance: Tareon had dark hair, an unusual trait for an elf, but he loved it because it helped him blend with the wood when he needed to hide, unlike the blonde elves who often had to wear hoods to cover up their hair in the forest. He often wore a tunic with a hood, but only put the hood up in the night or if he needed to hide. He wore a belt and quiver both full of fishing hooks, knives, and arrows and boots. Unlike most elves, he preferred a darker green clothes rather than the leaf/kelly usual green. Again, this was for camo purposes. He didn't need to hide often, but when he did, he did it well.

Sounds good, I'm in then. Working on studying for a final at the moment, but my CS will be up probably around midnight central time tonight.
To begin, let me say this: I am posting this in the Casual RP section, but truthfully if there was a section between Casual and Advanced, it would belong there. I have been in a few high school/college RPs and I notice that much of the plot climaxes on like day two and the rest is just a bunch of people flirting with each other and hooking up. I'm all for romance, don't get me wrong, but I want to be in an RP that has a constant plot to it and is actually moving foreword. That is the goal of this RP, IF YOU ARE NOT CREATIVE ENOUGH TO ADD INTERESTING PLOT AND DIALOGUE TO A STORY, THIS RP IS NOT FOR YOU. (This is in caps for attention grabbing purposes only, I'm not yelling...I love you guys!) I do plan on making a posting order, basically it will be the order you are listed in the "The Characters" section below. I know this sounds like a lot of rules, but I promise, the RP will be 10x better if it is well organized. At the bottom of your CS write "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" so I know you read this.

Plot: Basically this is a college for those with super powers. It is not like a gifted high school in the way that the students will actually be used in the field of helping save the world, rather than simply showing off their powers to one another and fighting amongst themselves. The school is like any other and has the usual college drama, but when it is you and your college rival against a giant radioactive man-eating crocodile, the drama is put on the backlight. Though everyone has their differences, they learn to work together to help the common cause of keeping the earth safe.

The school: Mount Dawn is tucked inside a large mountain side, to high for any plane to pay any attention to and to hidden from the majority of society. Not so high that it is hard to breathe and constantly cold, but not so low that it is in plain sight of those around it. It is located on an isolated island only known to a handful of Countries and off the radar. The school is ran by an elite set of superheroes, not the government, who teach and keep the peace, as well as help save the universe for missions that are to advanced for the college students.

The Enemy: I (the GM) will be playing two parts. One, I will be my personal character, and also I will be playing the various enemies that will come along and be the "bad guys" on the missions. Usually it will be a 5-6+ on 1 match, the 1 will be one big-a, bad-a, monster/Super villain.

The Characters:

The CS:

Name:
Age:
Appearance (Real Pics preferred, but anime is ok if necessary):
Appearance description (what the picture doesn't show + What the hero is wearing)
Race:
Powers (lets say a max of 3, if you want more then say and I'll approve if I see fit):
Weapons/Skills:
Bio (background):
Personality:
I haven't read the entire Interest Check but this seems pretty cool. I love Harvest Moon. The setting you described reminds me of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I'll make a CS but before I do I wanted to say this. This is my first "advanced RP." The fact is that I have been doing free and casual for awhile and noticed that most of my posts are longer than those around me, not to mention much of the posts on those don't have any real depth to them, they just spend days flirting and making a big deal out of the most uninteresting events. Before I make a CS, can I ask is this going to be like that?

Sean had work to do.

He put the address into his GPS and drove to it. The truth was, he wasn't pulling the strings so much on this one, but simply the front man for something that he could only assume was much bigger. Weeks prior he received an unmarked letter under his door that read

"Dear Sean,

I have been seeing what you are up to for awhile. I like your rebellious style, but more importantly, I like the way you don't get caught. Below is an address, it is an abandoned building that I bought recently, I would like you to throw a party there. Don't worry, I'm not a cop, and I don't work for the school...this isn't a set up. I am simply a smart and wealthy rebel like yourself. Unfortunately my rebellion is coming to a close and I need someone to continue my legacy. Consider this your qualification test.

-T"

The black Audi came to a halt in front of an abandoned building, skyscraper was an understatement. There had to be fifty floors to it. None the less, like any abandoned building, it was rough. There were a few broken windows and a vine had started climbing the side. The situation made Sean a little nervous. He popped the trunk and pulled out a 31 oz metal bat from the back. Can't be to careful.

He opened the door and there it was in the middle of the floor...like a treasure chest...liquor. Vodka, Whiskey, Scotch...it was like he had just walked into a liquor store. Other than that, the room was nearly completely empty except for a bartending station along one wall and a small stage in the corner.

"Better Get to Work" Sean said out loud.

I can't grow a beard thought

Miz took a deep breathe. The ocean smelled amazing, he loved it. He would wake up hours before school each morning and watch the waves bring in the morning and the salty breeze filled his lungs. "Who needs coffee" he thought to himself. He threw his shirt on the ground and swam deep into the ocean. He was never afraid of the waves or the current, and was an amazing swimmer. He heard his watch beep, that meant he needed to get out. "Hmm..only a few minutes, I will have to wake up earlier tomorrow" he thought as him swam toward shore. He picked up his shirt and went inside.

Breakfast was on the table and he ate it quickly before grabbing his bag, he figured he could dry off in the sun along the way and change into his uniform at school. He waved goodbye to his mother with a piece of toast in his mouth and started the walk to school. The day was amazing, especially in the early morning when it was the perfect temperature outside, though there was a slight chill since he was soaking wet. He got to school and looked at the sign outside, there were families dropping their kids off and people holding signs that said "Keep the Scum out" and "Fish belong in the seas" on them.

"What's going on?" Miz asked a student who happened to be walking beside him.
"Haven't you heard, the ocean people are going to be coming to our school now?"

This was the first he had heard of it. His parents probably didn't mention it because they didn't feel like it was important, he was always taught to treat people the same no matter where they were born. Still..he couldn't help but think the people outside may need to learn that lesson themselves.
