"Oh, just give me that goddamn map " he growled and snatched it out of her hand; he could not wait to be over with this. He then proceeded to stick one end to a USB port definetely not supposed to be used in any of the ways it had been used today.

It is obvious you are also pretty smart, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see you know your way around hidden stuff " he said while wiring at the console log again. He dared not try to break through the security barrier on his own and risk Stewart's attention , but the map was security-grade, and therefore should have rights of its own in the system, "even though I do happen to know a thing or two about orbital mechanics " he finished as he got another calculated jolt into the drive. This should broadcast the map through the computers that broadcast the previous ping, and his location ; was he lucky, he would also have gotten through the button for receivers to share their own location.

John waited for another student to follow Roxy's attempt. He would much prefer to observe everyone else complete the course so he could get a better idea of the workings of it. This was probably not probable, but he could at least observe the next student get of the wall and perform it.
"Aaaaaaany second now... "
He sighed as he realised that noone else was willing to step of the wall, which he then proceeded to do so himself as he approached the obstacle course.
The first obstacle was pretty straightforward. He jumped his way through the steps with ease. The log was a bit harder, but he also got through this part as he grappled it from the holds and turned it to the other side.
Then started the tricky part. He took position at the swing - a tricky position to hold, as the swing threatened to roll and throw him off. This almost happened while he swang, but he did indeed each the net at the other side and then drop back to the course.
The next obstacle seemed as even more of a challenge. It consisted of an arc with seven protruding points, and no floor. After some thinking, he grabbed the two rings he was supposed to get to the other side with and jumped to the first point. He reached the peak slowly to keep his balance , but with a pace that converged him energy. Then, he thought of saving some time by jumping towards the end ; an action that did save him two points, but cost him one ring. After hanging for a bit, he started swinging himself, and released his grip while heading towers the other side, on which he landed on a graceful face-first fashion.
He picked himself up, caught his breath for some seconds, and faced the last obstacle; a curved wall, of the kind used for skateboard trick, on the top of which was the finish line. He rushed towards the wall, and grappled it with his left hand- an ackward grip that he lost almost immediately. After he picked himself up, he repeated the procedure, this time successfully grabbing the edge of the wall and pulling himself on top. He then grabbed the airhorn positioned there and blew it, waiting for further instructions from Nike.

Jonathan stopped constructing his metal staircase, which had reached about halfways to the edge of the bridge, signaled his companion to also stop. The reason was a voice that came from the Airship. He turned his head to see that the voice belonged to a tall, war-tested man, with a determined look on his face and a pair of metal warriors armed with crossbows around him; he was a sure that this man was the commander of the ship as that the sun rose this morning.
"My greetings to you too, Commander. This humble servant of Karina that stands before you -and below you, to be exact- has indeed tested his luck with the storm multiple times -acquiring not only the abundant resources of the area, but also the knowledge the Storm hands out freely to the few who search for them. And yet, I abandoned many years of research on the sight of a ship determined enough to ride through the waves of pure, untameable,unforgiving power the Scar consists of. I, Jonathan Silvas, Weaver-rank Mechanist, son of Stewart and Margaret, am ready to follow you on your journey aboard this ship- and help in its much needed repairs to its original shape - by the moment you offer me the permission to get on board. And of course, by the moment I get convinced for the righteousness of your journey. "
