Isaac Clarke
Isaac ran through the halls of the CMS Terra Nova, desperate to look for his friend and partner who had just suffered from an attack. At first, Isaac was skeptical of the warning about a "vampire" being aboard, but when he finally found Carver's body on the floor near a couple of human-sized holes in the wall, his friend's warning was confirmed. Bite marks on the neck. "Son of a b****," was Isaac's only comment on the situation at hand. He lifted his fallen Comrade's body up and started his trek to the infirmary wing. After dropping him off, he had to head back to the wing and check on Zyland. If anyone was in danger, it was their pal who was with the supplies that the vampire came for.
Zyland Bannon
Zyland sat cautiously in the engine room of the ship. All he needed to do bow was wait for the computer to finish the check to make sure that nothing else was out of place. Suddenly, however, this was not his greatest concern. He was the only one standing in between the "vampire" and the stolen supplies the sat in the room with him. He figured the guy would have been here by now, but to Bannon's advantage, the intruder seemed to be lost. He sat patiently, waiting for the tram to come by, knowing that the railway system was the only way anyone could come.
Derek Simmons
Derek sat in his office of the old Umbrella outpost in Siberia. After falling to the likes of Leon Kennedy, he needed a place to recover from his wound. Luckily for him, the government agent had presumed him dead. Frankly, Derek couldn't blame the guy. He had been stabbed through the chest by a spire about as wide as he was. That would kill a man who lacked Derek's... Talents. Now, he say in the office patiently. He would be fully recovered soon, and Neo-Umbrella was almost ready for another boost in activity. Thinking about this, however, made him curious. He had to ask. "Queen, status update, if you would?" He asked to seemingly no one. "The Tyrant II specimens are still contained 100% effectively, and the radar detects no one outside of our ranks is within four hundred miles of the facility." A female voice came, just after a small, red, humanoid hologram appeared. "Outstanding. And any changes on my estimated time of recovery?" "None have been made." "Unfortunate. Thank you nonetheless, Queen." He finished. The hologram replied with a nod then disappeared. Derek smiled. "Oh, these next few months are going to be very, very productive."
I know I'm a bit late to the themes game, but... Isaac's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jnvMsCIOhw Carver's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfF9441xivA Bannon's is hard, but this is the best I've got so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MSv8bMi1zY By the way, writing up a post as we speak.
I apologize. I've been gone for a bit longer than I would usually deem acceptable for myself. I'll have something up tonight.
That's a good call. I'm still waiting as well.
**Zyland Bannon- CMS Terra Nova, Fore Station** Carver's last transmission was pretty worrying. It wouldn't have been so worrying to him if he didn't go dark right after the transmission. Isaac was still trying to get Carver to respond, but Zyland knew it was of no use. "Isaac, right now we have to neutralize the threat. It's still on the ship. "..." It took a few moments for him to form a reply. "He wants the supplies. Keep an eye on the tram, it's the only way he can get to you. I'm going to go find Carver." Zyland was incredibly tempted to tell Isaac to stay where he was and fight, but the ex-black ops soldier knew it would not change his mind, so he let the RIGLink end and turned the room's security camera to the tran stop. He wanted to know when this "vampire" was coming, and to show him what happens when you mess with his friends.
**John Carver- CMS Terra Nova** The last thing John expected the seemingly cowardly fighter to do was charge hin and sacrifice half of his limbs. After the leg came off, Carver felt a brief moment of victory. Just after this, however, he realized that it was part of the guy's plan. His blade stuck itself into his shoulder and John found that the man was drinking blood from his neck, next thing he knew. In the time it took for his RIG to slowly drop down to the red, he pulled his blade all the way through to finish cutting the man's arm off, then turned the blade 360 degrees and jam it into his abdomen. It then turned off upon his letting it go, and he collapsed. His back was facing upward, and his RIG showed that his massive blood loss put him on death's doorstep. He did one last thing before passing out. Connecting with Isaac and Bannon via RIGLink, he sputtered one last phrase. "Isaac... Vampire..." He then passed out, confident either of them could finish the job.
Ahh, a night with nothing to do... Just what I've been hoping for.
**John Carver- CMS Terra Nova** John jumped straight up into the air after getting back to his feet, with the help of the force that "The World" had punched him with. He dug his fingers into the metal ceiling and used his forward momentum and strength to launch himself at Dio. He held his arms over his face as he rocketed toward the man, leaving any knives heading his way to be deflected by his armor plating. The saw blade, however, caught him off guard. It nicked his leg on an unplated portion, but before any blood could surface, biogel covered the wound and resealed the suit. He then shot another stasis bolt at the guy's feet again, hoping that this time he would not be able to freeze all his shots. He then held his contact beam in one hand, despite its being a heavy rifle, and aimed the charged laser. At the same time, he went to draw his hydraulic sword with the other hand. "You're one to talk about naivety," he added, managing to squeeze a comment in. Meanwhile, just outside, the Terra Nova and Blackout were engaged in a heated conflict. Missiles were being fired and shot down. Isaac decided to open fire with the .65 cal external MGs, hoping the high rate of fire would raise the odds of landing hits by a lot.
**John Carver- CMS Terra Nova** John prepared himself for the man's cowardly move. Letting the tools fight for you was a sissy move, but it wouldn't stop John from hitting him. He quickly jumped into the air over the thing that had came at him incredibly quickly, showing off his own incredible speed. He then turned upside down and pushed off the ceiling, accelerating himself to the ground behind The Stand and rolling to his feet. As he popped back up, he shot a stasis bolt at the man, hoping to surprise him with its effects. The harmless looking blue energy flew through the air at moderate speed, aimed intentionally at the floor in front of the man's feet. He hoped to also surprise him with the splash effect- the cocky guy might dodge it just to show off, whether he thought it was harmless or not. Lastly, Carver's Ripper attachment was aimed and fired at Dio's armor, launching a saw blade at an extremely high velocity.
**Isaac Clarke- CMS Terra Nova, Bridge** Isaac smirked as he realized the present situation. This chopper could only disable his weapons so quickly, and the fight outside the ship had reached equilibrium. Guns and other functions were coming back online as quickly as others were being brought down. This put Isaac in the situation where he had the upper hand, considering the fact that his one HDCB gun dealt quite a bit of damage to the vehicle. Though something was off about it, as he observed the contact from his observation screen. That would have easily ripped through any normal helicopter any day. This one seemed to merely be dented, as if he had broken the skin of a person but not penetrated beyond that. "This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder..." He sighed to himself, firing more beams and launching a volley of missiles. **John Carver- CMS Terra Nova hallways** "Good guys?" Carver asked, dumbfounded. "If we ever happened to find ourselves in contact with any group who can be remotely considered 'good guys', that would be a welcome change in the pattern if life." It was true. Ever since the Tau Volantis incident, his view of who were the good guys had been skewed. Everyone seemed to have qualities that would deem them evil in their own right. This group was no different, but maybe the people this man talked about really were alright. He shook his thoughts off. At this moment, he needed to ficus on the life and death scenario at hand. "I saw the files that described your group's actions myself. Spare me the bullsh**, we'll find out exactly what the other guys' motives and such are for ourselves. Right now, I recommend hopping back on your helicopter and going home. You haven't seen nothing yet." He finished his statement with confidence, swapped his current weapon for his contact beam, and shifted into an appropriate fighting stance. Super strength and speed was something he had fought already. Whatever his... Utility was would be a bother. Strategies began forming in his head.
