Aria carefully unpinned the notices from the missing board, assuming that Lady had more copies of them stashed somewhere behind her desk. She gave all another once over before tucking it away in some unseen pocket in her vest. The victims certainly didn't seem to have anything in common with each other as far as she could tell, so there was the chance that whoever was behind this was doing it indiscriminately and just picking off whoever looked like easy picking at the time.

Amy's unexpected declaration had everyone talking. What kind of bad blood did she mean? So she knew the owners of the circus? Aria did agree with Syed- they were only investigating, and it wasn't for sure that it was the circus that was behind the disappearances yet. Perhaps it would be good for Marcus and Amy to search elsewhere, seeing how adverse the cleric was to visiting the circus. Too bad Estelle had other ideas.

The illusionist couldn't help but chuckle, moving over and trying to dislodge the redhead before Amy lost her temper. "We'd still be a team even if we are split up for now, Estelle." Somehow she had managed to undo the death grip and dragged the girl backwards. "Besides, what if we're so busy investigating the circus and the kidnapper decided to run or kidnap someone else? There's no evidence that the circus is behind it after all." She ruffled the girl's hair, hiding a grin. Amy and Estelle were both quite stubborn, weren't they?

Just as she had expected. Aria hid a smile behind her hand as the girl proclaimed that they would look into the case. Estelle was as enthusiastic as ever, wasn't she? As much of a mood killer her last question was...

The various guilders began to ask questions and the illusionist leaned over to listen. It certainly was a suspicious circus, and yet there didn't seem to be anything that pointed to the possible fact that the circus was the reason of the many disappearances. They would certainly have to pay the circus a visit however, and investigate in secret. She didn't quite think the members of the circus would take kindly to being called kidnappers to their face by strangers and then have their livelihood searched. Aria was rather starting to miss those simple missions where all they had to do was get rid of a beastie or take care of bandits.

The last tidbit from Lady was certainly interesting, but at the same time it wouldn't be surprising to see that it was only a coincidence. Circus' often had new people joining to add new acts or replace people who decided that the life of a clown wasn't for them. Or the ringmaster could be a person who reaped souls and was bamboozling normal people into joining the circus where they died grisly deaths from believing they could walk tightropes and tame lions and throw knives. She gave a small shudder- no more horror comics during the night for her, or ever again, it seemed.

She looked back to the board, then at the lady again. "Do you suppose we can get a copy of the missing people posters?" She gestured to the photos on the wall. "If we're going to the circus to search for missing people, it might be helpful to have pictures on hand. If it's not too much trouble."
I'mma post after rex yey

Brandy shook his head in amusement as Song cracked up besides him. It was unusual for Song to laugh like this but he certainly couldn't blame the guy; the look on the humans' faces were priceless. Were they expecting her to scream at them before dragging them to the bottom of the lagoon to drown? The group scattered under the mermaid's instructions, each to their own respective sections to look for clothing. Brandy and Song had it a bit easier, however- due to their familiarity with Martini and her stubborness in trying to improve their wardrobe they each had their own little corner on the first floor with a few mannequins showcasing outfits she had made for them for occasions like this.

He stopped in front of a mannequin in an outfit he hadn't seen before. It was a three piece suit with a black tailcoat, a verdant vest with a white dress shirt underneath as well as a green tie that matched the vest. There were gold trimmings on the suit that gave a regal but not overly fancy air, and a surprising lack of ruffles and sparkles on it that made Brandy rather relieved. He could still remember the times he had to bribe Martini to deruffle the clothes that she was making him wear, the bribe often being that he would wear something of hers again which only continued the vicious cycle. Martini was a lot craftier than she let on.

He returned from the change room, draping his old suit over the mannequin. A green silk ribbon had fallen from the suit pocket when he was changing and he had taken it as a cue to tie his hair back like Marti had always insisted though some of it escaped from the smooth fabric to frame his face. He stepped in front of the giant mirror that decorated and entire wall of the closet. The suit looked very nice on him as suspected of something made by Martini, and yet the lack of his characteristic scarf made the bunny frown. It had been deemed hopeless by the castle maids in Sol who had tried washing it, but the bloodstains had refused to come out no matter how they scrubbed. He had been forced to throw it away, not that he could have held onto it after he had used it to keep Song from bleeding out from the witch's attacks.

His grim mood was lifted slightly when he spotted some two humans lingering at the edge of the closet, now dressed in clothes that they had chosen from the giant selection. Inadi was looking a lot better now that he no longer resembled a bedazzled banana while the pink on Jasper brought out the faint blush on her cheeks. All in all, they were looking a lot better than they were before.

"Not bad," he gave them a small smile as he passed by them. "are you waiting for Leila? I'd suggest you go to Marti first, however. She gets cranky when she's kept waiting." He continued on, before pausing again. "If you're worried about her critique, I wouldn't worry." His gave them a small and slightly awkward thumbs up. "you both look great."

"About time!"

Brandy winced as he stepped in view of the mermaid who's tail had been slapping the ground impatiently as she waited for everyone to get changed. "Really, took you long enough. But I guess it was worth it after all!" She brightened as she took in the outfit, wheeling herself towards him and spinning around. "I'm a genius alright! You look absolutely dashing! I bet all the girls will just be crowding around you once you go back out there. And Inadi too! Who knew you'd look so good in a pinstripe suit? (Ehehhe I mean of course I did but meeeh~)" She whistled as the human stepped out, followed by Jasper. The girl looked so cuuuute in that shade of pink! <3 She was more than pleased with their selections. Perhaps there was hope for them after all? She clapped, feeling a lot more cheerful than she had been in a while. "Perfect, perfect~"

They were soon joined by Leila and Songbird, and she had to say that she was very much impressed. She was sure she would have to send one of them back at least, but there wasn't any need for that at all. Her tail swayed in joy as she looked upon her handiworks proudly. "Well, that's that then." She nibbled on a pastry and waved a hand at them dismissively now that her work was done. "I'll get that suit burned later, so don't you all worry about that. You're all free to go~"

"Are you sure?" Brandy frowned at the mermaid. "You don't want to join in? I thought you loved parties."

"Oh please, like this?" Martini huffed and gestured to her colorless hair and tail. "I think I'll pass this time. There'll be other parties in the future when I get better, right? So don't worry bout me and get moving before I get mad at you~!"
"Forcing yourself to stay awake or waking up in the middle of the night to write a post is ridiculous, unless you're Kathi who's absolutely ridiculous about those kinds of things."

There is no need to be a butt shush you

And no worries, Rex! Don't stress too much, this RP should bring you joy and happiness (unless of course Pach and Michi do something those evil buggers) c: Make sure you rest well too! Don't be like me yea :'D

Also since it's only been two posts since my last post I don't have much to react to so I'll prob skip. Sorry u nu

Aria rescued the second tiny caterpillar from the top of the glass that Lucy had put down, letting it join its friend on her palm. Where were all these caterpillars coming from? As cute as it were, it was kind of strange. Lucy returned to the counter with yet another small caterpillar and placed it on the counter.

"There's a chance someone will gobble you whole and BAM you're guts will spill out and you'll be dead."

"Lucy!" Aria half scolded while biting back a laugh. "You'll scare the poor little guy." He was making faces at it now and the caterpillar had lifted what she supposed was its head and swaying back and forth. The two on her palm looked to be conversing, and she looked around to see if there were any flowerpots she could place them on. Her glass of wine was done so she stood up and with a small wave to Amy she walked towards the board that had the pictures of the missing people on it. A row of flowers sat in pots on the windowsill besides the board and she let the two little guys off her palm first before standing next to Lute to investigate the board.

"The bar has seats if you're looking for a place to sit,' she suggested to the man before frowning at the pictures. For a small town this was an unusually large number of missing people. She had a feeling if Estelle got a wind of it- Ah, did the leader know the secretary as well? Small world. Estelle and Moira were both chatting rather excitedly with the woman while Syed looked rather conflicted about something in his hair. Anyways, she was sure that when leader caught sight of the board they would most likely get involved like the Pride always did. Estelle's sense of justice was just too great.

A loud and rather unpolite sound came from a small door at the side of the Guild and Ari blinked. Was that the lavatory? Oh dear. The lack of stench hopefully meant that the room was smell-proofed, if that was a thing.
