Cousin just got a boyfriend, so her father, stepmother, birth mother's two younger sisters (my aunt and my mother) and younger brother (my uncle), elder male cousin (uncle's son) and younger male cousin (me) are all meeting him to make sure he's not some suspicious guy.

I don't even know why I'm tagging along, but it's weird enough that I guess I'm going for the experience.

I'll just do work on the contest entry which was 3.6k words last night and still is 3.6k words right now and I'm going to Foshan with family to assess my cousin's boyfriend so I need to probably get more work done of this thing if I wanna hit 20k.

For people who have some time in hand and can try out some finicky character creators, I suggest fiddling with either the Black Desert Online character creator demo or the Phantasy Star Online 2 character creator demo. They're kinda fun to use even if their flexibility is limited. Both should be free, though you might need to find a separate english patch for PSO2.
