@Polaris NorthYeah. Either way I'll be working on a reply for the people who have posted in the mean time. Whether or not I'll be able to post it up when I'm finished depends on if the site will behave itself.

So how has everyone been lately?
Jeez. RP Guild was down for a few days. It seems to be stable now though.
@RaddumYeah it's been difficult to get on. Thankfully the problems appear to have subsided for the time being. I hope they don't return anytime soon.

@Bright_Ops Thank's Bright, I look forward to it.
@RaddumWhatever you make next I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy reading through it. Thank you for joining Raddum. I have a feeling we're all going to have a lot of fun together :)
@RaddumRomt is absolutely wonderful. I honestly hadn't expected anyone to make a Diamond Dog character and frankly I'm quite happy to be wrong. You did a fantastic job Raddum and made an interesting, compelling addition to the roleplay. For some reason Romt reminds me a little of Clifford the Big Red dog, likely because of his size and fur color.

You can post Romt up in the character section whenever you feel like it because he's golden as is. :)
@RaddumNot a whole lot has happened but I'll give you a summary of what has gone down:

Prince Blueblood, current headmaster of the Bellbrooke Reform School, panicked in his office. He had been embezzling money from the school funds intended for the human children at the school to fund expeditions out into the area surrounding Bellbrooke to look for wealth and magical artifacts. These have been very unsuccessful and gotten him nothing save for a pin that can protect the user from sunlight.

It didn't help he had to show an inspector from Equestria around the school that day. The inspector arrived and Blueblood (begrudgingly) showed him around. Lying through his teeth about the more questionable aspects of the school (disorderly sleeping areas not separated by sex or age, the use of Rended meat to feed the children on the cheap, amongst other things).

The Inspector believed Bluebloods lies and during an inspection of the classrooms, revealed he had been convinced by the school councilor Ms. Meadows to give the Headmaster a large sum of bits. Blueblood was over joyed, until her learned the money was to be spent on an extravagant Hearthswarming Eve celebration for the human children.

Blueblood bit his tongue and swallowed his anger. His resolve was pressed when he became aware one of the 'problem children' was absent from class and likely gone from the school entirely. Lying about her absence Blueblood excused himself and went back to his office, proceeding to throw a violent tantrum in anger over the funds usage.

In his anger however he things of a devious plan and rings the Mayor of Bellbrooke up on a crude telephone in his office. Threatening the mayor with incriminating evidence Blueblood had collected on him he forces the Mayor to commission any available adventurers/explorers to meet the Headmaster for a mission.

Going downstairs Blueblood proceeds to meet with a trio of adventurers who had answered his call. An experience gun touting local adventurer by the name of Beeline, a less then social Unicorn magic user by the name of Crepuscular Rays, and a reformed 'graduated' human going by the proper Equestrian name of Worried Mind.

Blueblood made it clear to the adventurers why he had gathered him. Offering him a very generous 'bonus' payment (taken from the money intended for the Hearthswarming party) if they went to an old, hidden church nearby and brought him back any valuable/magical objects they could find.

As this happened the problem children "Falling Down" made her way out from the Reform School walls and began wandering out into the snow. Happy to be out of the Reform School she began to explore the nearby woods, unaware she was followed by a local reformed human guard called Lightning Flash. Falling came across an old, decrepit church (the one mentioned before) and proceeded to try and enter. Unable to open the door she attempted to beat it down, however for Flash to reveal himself and blow the church door open in a 'helpful' display.

All the while Thundering Cloud, a reformed human guard, stood on duty atop of the wall surrounding Bellbrooke. Then from out of the woods animated human skeleton began to appear and rushed the walls...

And that's everything that's happened so far.
@Polaris NorthI'd appreciate it Polaris. I know school can be a emotionally draining time eating hell, but I know you can do it.

@RaddumWe are absolutely accepting. I'm really glad that you're interested in what you've read so far. If you have any questions feel free to ask them, I look forward to seeing your character.

@Vutava Oh and Vutava you'll need to edit your post.

The skeletons are attacking the wall surrounding Bellbrooke, not the castle. While the Castle is within walking distance of the town, it's still perched on top of a cliff overlooking the settlement. So they're still far away enough that the group can't likely hear what's going on. Especially since they're all inside and they have the outer walls of the castle separating them to boot.

I REALLY need to get to work on that map I talked about. I'm healthy enough I can do it and I think it's clear some visual reference for where everything is located is needed.
So how is everyone doing? Things got quiet here really fast.
@Bright_Ops@VutavaI don't think Equestria has the equivalent of a modern tax agency. They likely have some form of taxation given they have a government and such. However it's likely a far more archaic setup then what we're familiar with. Besides on Earth the settlements aren't likely directly taxed by Equestria, at least not at the moment. There are likely local taxes and fees however, decided on by the pony with the most legal authority (a mayor or some form of royalty like a duke).
Annnnnnnnd posted! I hope everyone had a good new years and Christmas. Sorry for taking so long I got wrapped up in a whole bunch of crap.
