@KoL Well, that hyphen was meant to try to phrase the A ranked attacks bit in a 'fancier' fashion. Not to signify the skill giving A- attacks. That being said, probably not my best design choice if it caused any confusion there. My apologies. Will edit that hyphen out! :)
@Raineh Daze Alright, here is my Archer! Just got him finished tonight, and am happy to fix anything that needs fixing! :D

@Raineh Daze How many Archers have been submitted so far?
The Saturnian League

Official Directorate Offices, Director's Room

...It had been a long day, especially in regards to the Senatorial Conference that had barely finished only about four hours ago.

The usual debates and politicking had been present, yes, but those things she had been long accustomed to. What was more concerning was the reports of Legion movements and other suspicious activities within the Sol System itself, leading to the heaviest topic of the entire session: War. The air might as well have been as dense with tension as a stick of synthetic butter was thick, at least when the topic had finally been finally brought onto the floor.

To no one's surprise, the palpable feeling of dread had swept in like a tide as the usually bickering and debating senators and their factions frankly turned into an eerie silence for about 10 minutes. It was an unpleasant thing to ponder on, but between the state of Earth itself and the myriad of things going on the looming specter of internal conflict erupting within the system on a grander scale wasn't an utter impossibility either. It had to be prepared for, discussed, and talked of in order to ensure that the Republic and its people were prepared for the very worst.

Preparations and standard readiness procedures had already been in effect for some months, but that paled in comparison to the potential issues that not continuing to move things along could carry as well. Being unready and unsteady in this day and age was suicidal, to be blunt, and already their ambassadorial/military orbital station around Ishtar was being relayed info to pass onto their allies. They would have to coordinate future preparations and adjustments to the usual trade schedule to accommodate all of this, but it wasn't a big issue...at least yet. Full-on war would be another thing entirely if, or perhaps when, it came along.

"...Galina, how are preparations going for the operation?"

Director Marianne Sato sat there in her office, hands folded and elbows on her desk as she spoke to the soldier who stood on the other end of the comms. It was a secured and rather sophisticated communications link, one that only she and her protective unit were privy to and could tap into for communication back and forth. Its range and other specs remained...undisclosed, confidential even. Safe to say, however, it was crystal clear and could even stream video in real time between one location and another.

The Volyudki on the other end seemed to chuckle for a moment, before her voice rang once again over the comms channel.

"Da, preparations are goink veri smooth Director Sato," the soldier said, before pausing and clearning her throat. Was hard not to fall back on her accent here and there when she was relaxed, but even so she had pushed herself to speak more formally to put on the airs of a more proper leader, "The squad is ready to deploy and scout out the Saturnian border towards Jupiter. We'll be aboard one of the usual scouting carriers, so we should be invisible amidst the usual crew and personnel aboard. We will report back if anything suspicious comes up, however."

Whew.

"Noted. Continue the good work, but be cautious out in the field. If Europan or pirate ships intrude on our space, the Admiral should send the usual message and standard deterrence procedures. From there, if you feel any need to act or investigate I will trust in your judgement, Galina.

...Also, you might have left your shirt at my place last night."

A pause, and then a hearty laugh ringing out from the other end of the line.

"Hahaha!!! Keep it, dorogaya, may it keep you warm in these times-...

Oy, Kowalski, you keep laughing I wil toss your soggy ass out of the airlock!"

The Director could not help but chuckle in return. It was like a parent or an older sibling berating a small child. Except these children and parent were all deadly soldiers and members of one of the most highly elite Crack Squads in the League, implanted with top-end dark energy cybernetics and utilizing the best weaponry money could buy in League space. That was saying something.

Even with the squad seemingly in such good spirits, however, the truth of the matter was that Marianne hoped they would find nothing out there. Nothing but empty space and silent border. The only reason she'd sent them out in the first place was to give her personal account of the status of the Jupiter/Europa border from the Saturnian side. Something to placate her nightly concerns, if naught else, about the state of things closer to home right now.

For now, however, a large abandoned T-shirt back at her home and the reliability of the squad itself would have to suffice to soothe her nerves.

It was all she had right now anyways.

Cthulhu-Chan

Someone tried to knife the prick of a girl from Beacon (in golden armor now), which led to said person being sent through...dang, even the pirate had to admit that was a nice blow. Not that the blasted Greater Horror in the room and someone else hadn't drawn attention first though. Then at least the one girl with the rifle had been chill with her answer. Perhaps the calmest thing that had gone down here, frankly speaking, or would be for the next few minutes. That and someone putting out her patron's fire. Whew. But between the prior purge order and everything else, the pirate's attention was pulled most by something else that rung in her ears.

“Sophia! Just leave!”

Wha-? Run away, after all of this?! Something was up, and if the one person she was at least most aligned to so far among her peers was going off to help then she was following. No more sitting around in the middle of some Horror's mess, no letting someone run off wounded, no more waiting around for someone to try to purge or kill her (again)...she was doing something dangit! Why did everyone else get to run around and do things, save the day, have friends and people to talk to...why...why did everyone just continue to leave her behind?!?! Why did that one girl want to kill her?! Would more of those memories she'd seen give her any answers about her own bloody past?! Did this world have it out to keep her blind?!?!

The pirate softly cursed under her breath, fists beginning to clench tightly as she began to run forward. Wings sprouted from her back, and once again she took to the air as she moved to follow Amaryllis through the hole the knight had made in the warehouse. The rest could kill each other off for all she cared, turn each other into bloody trinkets that got stuck on some macabre wall in some patron's mantle. She was going to do her best, even if it killed her to help someone! That was her job, right? She was a magical girl, defender of the weak and afflicted and a fighter for this blasted city!!!

Barely arriving on the other end of her ally's destination, however, the winged girl ever so barely arrived in time to see the mafioso from earlier being kneed and grabbed up by some shady-looking dastard. There was also Amaryllis, and that same white tiger, and even that Horror girl who'd helped in that other battle before and just had one arm now! Also a small girl, who seemed to cling to said Horror girl's leg. Then the mafioso seemed to shout aloud, the tiger leapt in for killing, and all hell broke loose with the animals otherwise in the room.

Kinda. Had she gotten all of that right? Not like she knew everything, but she knew the asshole of a fedora guy from earlier was associated with Amaryllis somehow. And Amaryllis was not a bad person. Therefore...blast it all. The pirate knew already what she would do as she extended her two hands.

A few small golden defensive shields would form out of thin air, guarding Mariette and Sammy from the front and above at least. Meanwhile, Focused Assault power surged extra mana into the Chain Arm as Sophia extended her other hand and shot out chains with an attacking fury as she tried to fire an attack deep enough to latch into and pull out Nuncio. Wasn't like she had time to do much but act right now. Could already hear her patron creaking furiously in her mind for this already, literally so, as the grand ship itself began to swiftly move over to Sophia's location with all the haste of a somewhat still pissed-off and frustrated patron who had just been set on fire and attacked by a veritable kraken not long ago.

"Give em' back ere', ya' feckin' bastard!"

Beyond this, however, Shane would find himself with a set of four large ghostly doubloons appearing in his hand. Each was etched with rather clear and legible markings, however, which read 'All-You-Can-Eat-Ghostly-Pancakes Tokens, only redeemable at the Flying Dutchman'. Were these a...reward for putting the fire out?

Cthulhu, in the meantime, seemed to still stand there and watch on as things continue to devolve before her very eyes. At least the main horror threat was out of the way, that much was the best thing about all of this. Even so, unless someone contracted her and asked for help she would not be able to take any more action than being the bystander she was. Even so, she let out a chuckle as Rachael noticed and then literally 'hammered' her potential assailant through the wall. The Ascendancy were kinda assholes, kinda necessary in some cases perhaps, but they did sure know how to fight at least.

However, a battlefield-wide voice would soon ring out in the heads of those around there...

'Just too make a weeensy tiiiiinsey advertisement, if aaaaaaanyone needs a new patron after all of this and likes saving humanity from this kinda stuff and meanie horrors...I am so totes avaaaaaaailable~! Have a cool underground pad and friends and everything, and this place for reals seems to need some serious help! So please come join Super Magical Party-Girl Cthulhu-can today~!'

Kill them, right after the purification of a monster queen and valiant efforts all around? That was a cold as a monster eating the bodies of the desecrated dead! Not only that, but the perpetrator had showed themselves for pity's sake! This was going all kinds of wrong, and nervous flashbacks to when she and Sophia had first woken up in that destroyed graveyard. No, not this again! She would not let this happen again and the pirate-...aaaaaand Sophia had run off after Amaryllis. Crap. This day was just not good, no good at all for the city or anyone here...

But more pressingly, she had to do her duty as a magical girl of Beacon right now in this other matter! She couldn't let herself fall victim to fear or trepidation...not again. Please no not again.

Channeling the vestiges of her fury, and finally having the true culprit at her fingertips, the maid magical girl attacked Eden with a flurry of blows. Duplicating daggers multiplied and rained out at Eden to try to cut off potentially dodging Alicia's blows, but also sought to fill the area with as many attacks as possible in rapid time. She even threw in small spurts of her magic with some of the thrown daggers, slowing some daggers down in time at varying speeds and creating a veritable wall of space-covering timed attacks. This tragedy would not be in vain. So many had-...no, she could think on her dead sisters and brothers later. She had to, or she couldn't handle doing this right now.

She had to fight.

Yinha Karathros

'You idiot!'

...Is what Yinha thought to herself rather than shout it aloud at the Lizardman, even as she watched him shove a sword deeper into himself and basically indulge in further self-harm before her very eyes. It was a choice she understood at least, not like he needed to be bleeding out right now while the weapons and arrows [u]sticking out of his body[/b] were keeping the wounds shut for the moment in some primitive, savage method. No, it wasn't like she felt the primal urge to slap the ever loving world out of Kaze. No. Totally not feeling the rage of a thousand suns at someone indulging in more damage and pain. Not that like prodded every nerve she had left to deal with all of this right now. Nope.

"Kaze is right, we need to keep moving... The rest of the army is out there, and only Miss Serafaye seems to be immune to their attacks somehow for now. Not that she might make the best 'battering ram', but...blast it all," The mage spoke aloud, biting her lower lip between brief pauses as she tried to keep her mouth shut from shouting at Kaze, her tone of voice low enough for the group to hear without shouting at least, "If we can sneak some more, perhaps we can at least try to get past some cracks in their defenses? Either that, or perhaps we could use summons from a couple of us to distract them. But we need to move regardless."

After today, she would need a nice hot cup of tea. If they were even remotely in a position for such by the end of all of this. It was the first thing she could think of while pushing in comforting thoughts to keep her cool.
@Kazemitsu Post coming today. Had to help with some work around the house today, coupled with job the last two days. XD

"Super-Duper Magical Patron Party Girl Chulhu-Chan"

Oh. Ooooohhhhhhhhhh. Magic hurt, just like a punch to the gut. In this case, however, literally so. Not that she enjoyed it coming from one of those pricks she and the others had run into earlier, but more than that she was just glad Amaryllis was ok. The moonlight warrior was nothing short of the closest she had to a friend here, perhaps, aside from that maid girl...albeit the maid lass had left her and had to deal with her own issues. She could respect it, but it wasn't like it didn't hurt either. They would need to talk, really, at some point about all of this. And more. Argh.

Even so, the pirate could only recover for a moment and admire the Rose Knight as she watched the action going on above. It was almost disorienting with how much was going on all at once. The voices calling out around her all over the place, the fire on her patron's body as she heard it roar out into the night with a truly bone-chilling 'creak' of fury, the sudden glow of a white light as the monster queen was seemingly purified, and more was a lot to take in. Like a movie playing out before her eyes. Albeit she didn't know what kind of movie, but she hoped it wasn't just another horror movie. Please not another sitting up in a horror's mess with people trying to kill her. Please.

Not that the tension in the air was any less thick than a stick of butter still, at least at this point. And from what she could hear from the Beacon girl who had 'healed' her things weren't likely getting better anytime soon.

"Wha' in tha' bloody ell' is this bout' dealin' with people like mah'self? We jus' got done fightin' ah' bloody monstah' queen, not tha' biggest part oh' this mess, and ya' jus' ealed' me!"

The pirate spoke as she stood up once more, looking over at Rachael with slight glare of frustration, frustration at the mess this entire event had become. So many were involved it was hard to keep track, and frankly she was here to both do her magical girl job and try to back up the one person she trusted most around here. Simple as that. Yet as another voice choked out in response as well, the dark magical girl's eyes darted over to Trixy in a hurry. It was really one thing after another today. Yet with some obvious haste Sophia quickly jotted over to the Cradle girl, or at least as close as she could safely get without making anyone trigger happy (she hoped).

"Lass! Lass!," she said, trying to get the other girl's attention away from the sky and towards her, "If ya' friends' bodies were down heah', mah' patron's gottem' safely stored ah'way till' this mess is ovah' with. Jus' didn't want em' ta' get swept up bah' some Horrah' er' monstah' queen, jus' find meh' latah' and e'll give em' to ya' fer' ah' proper burial."

Hell, her accent felt even stronger for a moment there. Was it the stress and all of this? Probably.

Meanwhile a potentially forgotten presence seemed to stay in the area as she watched on with the proceedings. Her eyes seemed to glisten with excitement, at least at how things had gone, before she seemed to finally calm down a little and walk out to where others were on the warehouse floor. As if announcing herself after a bit of sideline spectating. More or less, however, she seemed to keep a certain upbeat mood despite the chaos going on around her. As if she was perfectly at home among it all, perhaps, though such an assumption could be readily argued for or against right now.

Not like Lei Zi wasn't handling some of the obvious the political stuff already. She could tell. Such a stickler, but rules were there for a purpose as well when it came to being Patrons. Hehe~

"My my, such a happy ending for that little monster and you don't even want to wait for everything to finish up before you round up corrupted girls? After healing one yourself? So impetuous and pragmatic, and yet not so surprising at all for someone from the Ascendancy to order on the spot~"

Cthulhu's voice called up to Rachael in a crystal clear tone, almost teasing as the Greater Horror stood there with her hands behind her back and rocking on her heels. No fear at all, really, not even a hint of hesitation in calling such things out. But while this was one thing, the horror was also doing a little investigation of her own.

Inside of mind of Hyun, a voice would call out that rang in her head in an almost valley-girl-like tone.

'Congrats on the purification! You have a neat little choice before you as well, so make sure to use it wisely with your new self.

On that note, I am totes still recruiting magical girls to keep humanity safe, and many of the other Patrons can vouch for me on that even if they don't like it! Having a girl with that Shinespark in her would, like, totally act as more proof to the few snoody pricks left who think I'm evil!

But it's your call, girlfriend, so do what you want and own it! I'm just doing me~ Not sure what those Beacon girls will want to do with you, though, but whatevs.

Otherwise just wanted to hop in and say hihi, and good luck with thiiiiiiiings~!'

...Of course she'd try to recruit someone by speaking to them in their mind. Albeit it wasn't direct interference, just some nice talking! She knew the rules, oh she knew the rules, but more hands to help keep this place and others safe was always a goal! Or what was that human saying? "Any poll's a goal"? Meh. She could think on that bit more later.

@BrokenPromise@Ariamis@Erode

@Flamelord (Consider Serenity looking to Alicia as she catches her breath, trying to soak in things as she processes Rachael's command somewhat less approvingly. My brain is burning out irl as i type this due to a myriad of things...and i will catch her up better next post. Yes. Please. DX)

...Y-Yes...but i technically kicked off this last round by being ahead in a sense! R-Right? TwT
