@Dead Cruiser Would say...a size shifting skelly who could be as small as to perch on your shoulder and up to human size be an obtuse but acceptable idea for a Tuletary? XD
@Dead Cruiser Just to ask at least, what are the specialties of the different Cults?
@Raineh Daze Gotcha! Removed those two skills to clear it up! :D

Later that Night

The eerie quiet and stillness of the museum still gave Samantha the chills. In contrast to the daily bustle, the place appeared dead. The only sounds of life had been Scarlet, Otto, and herself. Samantha skimmed the cases, holding everything from modern sports to ancient history, while the guard locked up. A twist followed by a click indicated the final lock for the night. The keys jingled as the middle-aged man placed the ring back onto his belt and jiggled the security bars.

"All right, let me know when you two want out. I'll be at the front desk as normal." With that, Otto gave them a warm smile and began to wobble his way back to his post.

Samantha checked for her own set of keys.

"Scarlet, do you mind being on hauling duty? I'm a little excited about designing since I've been working on this piece for a good week at least." Her eyes looked to the younger girl, partly expecting some resistance.

“Eh-...fine,” the teen said, for a moment almost hesitating before letting out a semi-defeated sigh. If she didn’t help, it wasn’t like she’d feel good about it anyways. Besides, Sam was a friend! Better to not treat her like that asshole museum director did, “I’ll gettim’ in, jus’ tell me where ta’ put them! It’s the least’ ah’ can do.”

Samantha noticed Scarlet's reaction. Her eyes softened and she forced a smile on her lips, hiding the guilt washing over her. Even if she had put all her blood, sweat, and brainpower into the display design, her friend wanted to do it more. Samantha couldn't deny the younger girl that.

Popping open her laptop, she slid it to face them. She separated the backroom key from the ring and put the rest into Scarlet's hand. When she had the teen's attention, she spoke.

"All you had to say that you wanted to set up the display instead. I'll let you open the cabinet and set up the pieces while I do the hauling." Despite the disappointment, she simply put on a smile and changed the plan.

Already she was moving toward the back room with the spare key in hand. Jiggling it a bit against her palm, she called back.

"I'll be right back." Then she vanished down the hallway.

The teen recoiled for a second in surprise, before attempting to stammer out a response as Sam was moving away.

“W-Wha-?! Wait! Sam!!! Ah’ just meant ah’d haul the heavy stuff for ya’! I didn’t mean ta’-!”

Despite her shouting as loud as she could, even if Sam had heard it wasn’t like she was nearby either. The woman had walked off, leaving her here with, ah, the display itself. For a moment the teen stood there in an awkward, and somewhat guilty, silence...but eventually let out a sigh of defeat. Sam wasn’t a confrontational person, that much she knew, but the teen felt her words had been misunderstood.

...Blast it all! Yet maybe she could ask her mom for some cash, and take Sam out for an apology lunch tomorrow? Or something like that. Crap. She’d have to work on that plan as she put things out, since she didn’t exactly have a choice to do so now if they wanted to get done in good time.

Scarlet mulled over potential ideas as she took the key, unlocking the cabinet and carefully beginning to pull out the display pieces. The Tamaranian began to do her best to arrange the pieces in the proper arrangement, or an ‘academic yet aesthetically pleasing’ manner as it were. Wasn’t the first time she’d helped place pieces out after assisting Sam in the preparation, and she at least generally knew what the Director (may someone key that woman’s car and face one day) generally liked in terms of positioning pieces at least.

What else could go awry tonight anywho? A monster emerging from the pits of hell because it was attracted to the display?
Or fondling Yinha's chest infront of the baddies to make them jealous, before throwing her at the baddies!

A curse upon those who think to sacrifice the amazing chest ahead elf! A curse that your character dies a mongel's death! XD
Yinha Karathros

...Were it not for seeing the wisdom in Kaze's plan, the High Elf might've continued to fume at him for even trying to suggest a plan after PAINFULLY WOUNDING HIMSELF MORE TO KEEP MOVING. Or maybe she was still fuming over what Kaze had done. Either way Cecilia also seemed to have a good point about the alleys as well, though Vani's words and the idea of smashing through walls again made her almost ready to bark out at how that "was a terrible no good very bad idea". But as much as the situation felt overwhelming in its own ways, and mixture of big and little things, Yinha did her best to breath subtly and calmly to keep herself in the game. Yes. If they could move silently-

Wait. Where was Miss Serafaye going?

No, no no no no no! That was not the plan! Not that they had all agreed on a plan, for goddess' sake, but why was she going towards the Imperial soldiers?!

Blast it all-...Oh? The masked man at least had the tact to toss up a smokescreen.

Though as Locke collapsed to take a knee, the Angelic Mage felt a certain sense of pity rise up in her. She'd cast a few spells, and while she was feeling it...wasn't like she was depleted entirely either. Perhaps it had been a bit deceptive to get help for Vani from one of the others at the tower, in particular that more regal-looking magic user woman, but while she felt a little guilty she'd also wanted to save mana for later in case they needed it! Whether it had been her and Kaze being attacked by these others, or the Imperial soldiers, keeping at least one potential healer with enough energy and ability to cast was a good tactical advantage to try to maintain!

But now was not the time to, er, debate such things internally or otherwise.

Yinha looked over at Kaze, pointing two of her fingers on one hand in a "V" shape at her own eyes before pointing them around at Kaze. A wordless way to tell him "i am keeping an eye on your self-harming idiot self". She then quickly began to move, seeking to not fall behind as she made use of the new smokescreen. If they could take out the Archers, that would be a good start for things perhaps. Unless this odd woman who seemed to be from another plane of existence or something slapped these soldiers into submission too. As odd as it was...Yinha almost found herself preferring such an option to more of the rest of them getting pin-cushioned at the moment.

Hopefully they'd all get out of here sooner than later, and get a chance to breathe at least.

Sounds about right for me as well

Same. Well, either a post before work today or a post coming tomorrow from me anywho. Work has been busy and with this dust cloud stuff its been hard to breathe outside with allergies. XD

:O

What be goin' on over here?
@Raineh Daze Rank added! :D
@Raineh Daze ( responding real quick from break room )

I could not think of a rank for it really. I'm open to any ideas for a rank for the skill though! Almost tempted to put "A" for the rank Otherwise. (@_@)
