Alan, Christoph and Kieran, Midday Saturday
The preparations were well under way for the heist. However, while most of the crew was running around getting equipment, scouting the target or getting their affairs in order, Alan had a particular job he needed to take care of. Their way in. In theory they could have tried to force their way past the lock which may even have worked flawlessly, but that wasn't exactly the kind of chance Alan was willing to take against a well protected facility such as this. As such the plan had become to have Christoph, now code named Taft for the operation, disguise himself as one of the guards and then let the entry team in. To do that they were going to need that guard's stuff, and to make sure said guard did not show up to work during the operation. Which brings Alan here. A small town outside of Atlanta where in a humble two story house a few blocks away lived their target, Olivia Berbank. The plan was to have Kieran sneak in the back door while Christoph distracted Olivia at the front. Seemed sound enough.
Alan pulled over the car a ways before the target. "Taft, this is where you get out. Good luck"
"I got it," Chris said, opening the car door and beginning to change as he did. His fair features grew more rugged and his hair shortened and changed color, and when he was completely out of the vehicle, he already looked like a native Russian man. With a map in hand, he began walking in the direction of the target's house, walking slowly both to give the illusion of being lost and to prevent himself from getting winded.
It took him a few minutes to arrive at his destination, but he eventually did arrive, looking legitimately lost and confused. Instead of heading directly to the house, he paused outside, making a subtle show of checking the map and his phone before shoving the latter into his pocket in a frustrated gesture, then advancing to the target's house and knocking on the door.
An answer did not come for a few moments, but soon enough footsteps could be heard coming to the entrance and then eyes through glass around the door. The lock clicked and the knob turned to reveal a woman of about chris's original size standing quizzically. "What do you want?"
"I, ehm, apologize. I am not from around, and have gotten very lost. Can you help?" Chris asked, leaning heavily on his Russian for an accent.
From what seemed like out of nowhere, arms protruded from behind the women, wrapping around her mouth and neck. Slowly, while she struggled, the women was lowered to the ground until Kieran was visible behind her. After a few more moments the women went limp, and Kieran picked her up in his arms and stood up straight. Kieran looked at Chris and spoke. "Done."
"I know I wanted someone close to my body type, but this just seems like a mean joke," Chris mumbled as he finally got a chance to look over his chosen form. Still there were worse things to turn into. He quickly commited her features to memory, then entered the house. "I need to grab one of her uniforms, her equipment and her ID. Can you call Alan?"
Kieran nodded. Kieran put the women over his shoulder then, as he walked to the garage, he texted Alan. "Pull up in to the garage, opening it now."
Receiving the text message Alan stopped driving aimlessly around the neighborhood and made his way to the target house where he pulled up the driveway and into the garage. He was happy to detect two conscious bio-electrical signals and then a third weaker one, presumably from a less than conscious target. "No problems?" he asked Kieran as he got out of the car searching for the garage door button.
Kieran shook his head. "No so far so good. Minimal security so far, this will be the easiest part of this job." Kieran walked to the back of the garage, found of door control, and lowered the garage door. Then he walked over to the car and spoke to Alan. "Can you pop the trunk?"
The door to the house opened as Chris walked into the garage, carrying an equipment belt and uniform under one arm, and a locked safe under the other. "So, I don't suppose either of you can crack a safe? Her belt has a holster, but her gun is probably in here." He put the safe down on the nearest surface with a loud whump.
"Load the girl and her stuff into the car" Alan said with sudden excitement. "I want to try something..." He had cracked many a safe in his time, but usually with proper equipment. Even then most of the times he actually did it on a job the safe was cracked loud for the sake of time. Still this little safe seemed to be electronic which made him think that just maybe he could get it to open with his powers. Why not try anyway. He started by typing in the keypad and trying to sense out the electrical signals sent just as he did to detect the presence of people. Then when he was fully convinced he was on the right track he started to send electric signal of his own through the lock much quicker than he would have been able to input them. It still took a few minutes, while Alan was blind to the world around him, but the Safe beeped and opened to reveal the guard's weapon.
"Thanks," Chris said, grabbing the weapon and sliding it into it's spot on the equipment belt, "Now can we get out of here? I'm starting to get antsy."
