Day 19 // A song you’re currently obsessed with.

I don't think I would ever hear the end of it from @Grey if I didn't put this song for today.

Yes. I am absolutely obsessed with Good Grief and likely Bastille's entire new album in general. Not only do I listen to Good Grief whenever I have my headphones popped in, I also listen to it at home and hum it to myself even when the song isn't playing. I know every lyric by heart and I even have the tendency to sing certain lyrics in the same accent that Dan Smith uses. There's really no reason as to why I'm obsessed with this song.

Is it because it's Bastille? Is it because it's from Bastille's new album? Is it because of the sick drum drop at the beginning? Is it because it reminds me of Canada? Is it because it reminds me of my new found independence? Is it because it reminds me of airports? Is it because it reminds me of airplanes and being 17,000 feet up in the air? Is it because it sounds awesome and is catchy? Is it because I love the lyrics and think they have doubling meaning?

Truthfully, I have no idea.

And I don't need one either because this song is just perfect no matter what.
Well, ships have started, I see. That's always good.

Let's see if anymore start. Or shipwars. Muauahahaha.

On a side note, if you AREN'T at the meeting point, you can still post. That means Luci and Max are in the clear if they want to post once or twice until they meet up with the others. If you are, just hold tight or post a quick one-liner/single paragraph post while you wait. I thank you!

Also, I just wanted to say that it's only been a day and you guys are already fantastic. I'm extremely hyped for this Roleplay and the more excited I get, the more I'm developing the plot. I'm looking forward to this!
That's fascinating. Out of curiosity, what do you typically offer to Óðinn? In modern times, I mean.
It's for that reason we don't bend the knee to anyone unless they deserve it. Even Óðinn does not receive the privilege of my servitude. I don't beg him for favors but rather I ask him and offer him something in return. He's a god, yes, but he's still a man.

This is probably one of the best religious philosophies I've ever seen.
There we are! I caught up and I posted. I totally ship Luci's and Max's characters already. Whoops. I'm also hanging out in the OOC Chat if anyone wants to stop by and chat. Or plot. Or anything, really.
Oooh. This seems like this will certainly be an interesting topic. I'm not sure where I personally align on the religious spectrum, but I've always felt closer to my Wiccan and Spiritualist friends and their beliefs. I'd love to stick around and chat, maybe learn something about these religions if you don't mind. They've always been deeply fascinating to me!
Polaris Yukon

Location: At the edge of the capital city || Time: Just before dawn || Interacting With: Jenso, Selene, Astiroth, Josephine, Artemis, Rem

Polaris had been waiting for almost an hour now and within that past hour, people began to appear. First someone named Jenso, then a demon who was apparently of royal blood. Before the Glacerian could even blink, others began to file in and he had quickly come to the conclusion that these people were quite definitely the "chosen ones" that he would be traveling with. Although he was told by the advisor that thirteen people had been invited in total, he was not exactly sure what to further expect of said people. Among the crowd, he was familiar with one face: the court healer who had seen once at a glance during one of his three brief visits to the castle. She introduced herself as Selene.

Aside from Jenso, Selene and the demon of royalty (whose name was apparently Astiroth), the crew was also greeted by three women: one who had yet to introduce herself, one who introduced herself as a "doctor of some renown" named Josephine Prendick, and one that had introduced herself as Artemis. By his count, seven of the twelve members had arrived. That meant that six chosen members were still missing from the group. Good to know, he supposed.

"Polaris," the nicknamed "King's Man" spoke in a slightly gruff tone, "Polaris Yukon. And it seems that we are missing six people yet."
I'm so behind on your posts. I need to get caught up on reading ASAP.

In the meantime, I'm closing off applications. They may be re-opened later as we can get individuals to join the party WHILE we travel. Additional characters can also be introduced by you guys as we progress further in the story whether they be NPCs or other player character as I'm entirely fine with doubling.
Patience young grasshoppers. There's only two who remain. Also, I don't really care if you guys post shorter posts in the meantime, just gigantic walls may be intimidating.
Yeah.

If you guys could keep your posting to a minimum while we wait for everyone to show up, I would be greatly appreciative. Reading walls of text can be rather imposing and something important can easily be missed.

Once everyone shows up, it should pretty much be open season with responses.
