Weightless - All Time Low

I've always felt an intense connection to this song and that may or may not be a result of my teen edge™. It may also be something entirely different, but specifics, specifics. Honestly, I don't have a long winded explanation for this song choice like I usually do and the best explanation for this song choice is to quite literally spam the lyrics.

I need to be managed because I'm a mess. I'm stuck in a rut and I'm over getting older. I'm sick of watching all the minutes passing and going nowhere. I'm going crazy and I don't want to waste another minute here.

And most importantly, it's not my weekend, but it's definitely going to be my year.

I've been thinking about it and some of us seem to be really getting involved in the Roleplay. I might do a little "serious" world-building sometime soon if anyone would be interested in helping or throwing ideas my way.

Well, they certainly did have their fun based on the amount of likes and laughs. I highly doubt that any their comments were intended to be mean-spirited in any sense. If you took it that way, then fine, but by showcasing yourself as so unwelcoming to humor or constructive criticism, you are only scaring off new individuals. Now I know you didn't ask for my advice, but I can see you want this group to succeed. My advice would be to welcome this sense of humor and these individuals into your group if they so wish. By lightening up, everyone can have a much happier time.

That being said, I wish you luck with your group.

Slide - Goo Goo Dolls

I really, really love this song. In fact, if Fuel, Junior Doctor and Bastille never existed, this would probably qualify for my favorite song. I wasn't even aware that I was absolutely in love with this song until I saw Goo Goo Dolls, but yes, I am absolutely in love with this song. I know it's not exactly the fluffiest song, but I still think it's quite cute . . I mean, just look at these lyrics!

It is a little ruined that my name isn't May, but I still think the lyrics are cute and I also heavily relate to some of the other lyrics as well:

I just. I really want this song played at my wedding, okay?! It just sounds upbeat and feels upbeat, I love the lyrics, it is a little fluffy and I can even relate (in a positive way) to some of the more depressing lyrics. I don't just want this song to be played at my wedding, it will be played at my wedding.

Polaris watched the scene involving the newcomer and the guards go down right before his eyes. He did not seem to blink and was generally unaffected by both it and by the tugging. The person who tugged him was the woman who had yet to introduce herself. He noticed the slight urgency in her voice and still remained as stoic as ever. One might have noticed a slight twitch when he was referred to as "Mr. Boss Man" though.

Polaris only took commands, he didn't direct them.

Before Polaris could even react, Jenso jumped in the conversation as well expressing the same sense of urgency. What? Had these people never gone to a city before? These threats were commonplace by far and were usually empty and without merit. "There is very little chance she will act upon these threats and even if she were to do so, the guards are perfectly capable of holding their own. Else-wise, they wouldn't have the position that they have."

Out of the corner of his eye, Polaris could see a brute of a man and his feminine companion approach the woman causing the scene at the gates. "Looks like they may be taking care of it anyway. Likely traveling together." Okay. That was a bit of a problem. If the three of them were to act on the threat, it could become a needless bloodbath.

Polaris found himself watching a bit more cautiously now and he saw the point towards the hill. It was at that very moment that the situation clicked in his mind: those three were to be their comrades on this quest. ". . Or they're with us."

The Guild is not so much dead as it is stagnant. And it only seems to be stagnant in certain sections. For example, Free moves at a much slower pace than Advanced and Casual. There may be a number of reasons for this. One in particular is the timing as a lot of people are likely in the process of going back to school.

My advice is to find one or two strong Roleplays and stick them to like glue. It usually works for me and I acknowledge the stagnation a little less. Also Roleplaying is still cool, but more and more people seem to find the concept of "joining a Roleplay and vanishing" to become more and more acceptable.

I don't know why, but it seems to be a new phenomenon.
