BUMPING FOR LIFE!!!
Aha! Excellently written! I love Crispin's character and I like how you brought up possible danger/stigma being attached to the fire talent, that's something I thought of immediately when you mentioned it. That's exactly what I hoped for in a response! Woo!

Anyway, Crispin is definitely accepted though I must make comment on the baseball cap. Are we talking, like, a baseball cap formed from leaves/petals or some other natural fiber or a basically modern looking baseball cap?

Also, you absolutely DO NOT need to apologise for posts being too long when dealing with me. I've found myself apologising for the same thing once or twice recently and, quite frankly, it's ridiculous. Why, back in my day, the longer the post the better, as long as it maintained quality throughout. So feel free to write a novel! I'm not saying I expect that of course, I'm just saying you certainly don't need to 'edit down' posts, Rping is about writing and reading, I don't see how there can be too much of either.

No, I had absolutely not thought of re-opening the interest check, I figured once the OOC was up that it would kind of replace it but if you think it'll work, I shall away and reopen it at once! I shall also edit the title of this thread to make it clear that we're open for more players.

Anyways, thanks for applying and sticking with this! Hopefully we'll gather some more people with some dedication and bring the Rp to life!

EDIT: ...Or maybe I won't edit the title, is that function not yet available? :O
It's okay, Rex, it's not like you're holding anything up here :P I'm glad you're still interested but it's not looking too good at the moment, is it? I don't blame you for holding back a bit.

I'm glad you like the Deeta thing. I planned it to do exactly what you said. CS's just seem so monotinous and unless you keep them really simple they also tend to reveal too much information which could otherwise be revealed in the Rp, what's fun about having their backstory all written out and known from the get go?

On the other hand, keeping it limited to name, age, appearance etc. doesn't give ANY example of the writing ability of the player while writing a few short paragraphs generally describing your character and their role in the Rp, would.

Until recently I've exclusively done one on one Rp's because people don't generally expect a CS for them, plus I just generally like them better, but still.

Anyway, thanks for the luck, it looks like I'll need it.
Well I'm sorry, but I'm bored to death of character sheets and don't see what's so hard about my alternative.

Unless there's like a bunch of lurkers refusing to join because of that one detail, then I might have to consider changing it.
And then they made me their chief....
Tried to make my breakfast but I broke my eggs...
I bump, you bump, we all bump for bumping!
Aha! Wait for me! I'm still here, too!

Name: Agent Rainbow, usually just called ‘Bo’.

Age: Unknown

Race: Human shapeshifter

Gender: Female (Or at least she’s pretty sure)

Appearance: Rainbow currently takes on the form of a young woman with the appearance of someone in their late teens. She stands about 5’7 tall with a thin, lithe physique, slight but noticeable curves and athletic muscle definition.

She has a mass of wavy, dark purple hair that is most often seen tied into a ponytail high on her head with several long, twisty bangs framing the sharp features of her face.
She has aqua colored eyes, thin, arching purple eyebrows, high cheekbones, a sharp chin and a dainty little nose which stands out among the more mature beauty of the rest of her face.

Weapons: Bo is armed with a large combat knife and a handgun which she wears on opposite hips, attached to her belt with the knife on her left. She also carries three grenades, two on the gun side and one beside the knife.

Clothing/Body Armor: Usually seen in a practical military getup, Bo sports baggy, khaki coloured cargo pants with enormous pockets at about knee level. Her pants are held in place on her hips with a simple brown leather belt with a small, oval shaped brass buckle that sports a red star emblem at its centre.

Her pants are tucked into the high tops of a pair of steel capped brown leather combat boots, fastened to her ankles with a pair of leather straps. Her slender, delicate hands are protected by brown leather fingerless gloves.

Rainbow wears a simple black shirt that clings closely to her body underneath a similarly figure hugging blue/grey military jacket which she regularly leaves unzipped. The jacket has a thick, bluish white fur trimming around the collar that goes right up to the nape of her neck and also runs along the bottom hem. It also features an inbuilt belt that usually hangs loosely off of the belt loops sewn around the lower portion of the jacket, each shoulder is emblazoned with a yellow circle with a red star in the centre and a big, square pocket features on each breast.

History: Rainbow, as she is now called, was once a very gifted shapeshifter, having honed her craft at the very same institute that taught a certain cat and piggie that people familiar with another tale may know well.

After many years training there, Rainbow was able to hold her form indefinitely, certainly, its limits were never able to be tested since she seemed to hold them effortlessly for so long.

Some time later, something happened that caused Rainbow to have a serious bout of amnesia. Having switched forms so many times over the course of her life, her mind couldn’t even piece back together what she had looked like and she awoke on a beach as a terrifying patchwork monster with no clue who she was, what she was doing or how she got there.

Blearily Bo wandered, eventually coming across a town where she was met by the horrified screams of the residents and soon realised that she wasn’t like them and that was why they were afraid.

Catching sight of a billboard, Bo instinctively changed shape into the man featured on it and soon horror and chaos was replaced by cheering and adulation as Bo had unknowningly taken on the form of a famous action movie hero named Pamput.

For a few weeks she lived merrily in the city as Pamput but being such a recogniseable face meant this didn’t last long and she was soon found out.

She escaped by taking on a new, female form, copying a few features from here and there, changing her haircolor and made a whole new persona, she kept the name though, Pamput had a nice ring to it.

For the next two years she made a living for herself as a thief, it was very easy to her as she learned that she seemed to be the only one around capable of shifting her form.
Her usual tactic was to simply take on a human form, snatch a purse or whatever else she wanted and then quickly transform into something inconspicuous such as a mailbox or streetlight.

This method served her well but it all came to an end when a Red Ribbon officer in the town on business caught her in the act. He approached her but instead of taking her to the autorities, she was coerced into joining the ranks of the army as a secret agent, afterall, the ability to change shape was an excellent tool for subterfuge.

Unable to take the young woman seriously when she shared the name of his favorite action hero, her employer gave her the new name ‘Agent Rainbow’, owing to the color based names of the generals in the Red Ribbon army, coupled with Bo’s ability to change her own size, shape and indeed color, she was like a living rainbow herself.

Originally having the intention to escape from the army as soon as possible, Rainbow was soon put on an assignment involving mystical artifacts known as the dragon balls and, using her shapechanging abilities, was able to learn more about them than the big boss wanted anyone to know.

And so, she stayed on with the army in order to retrieve these dragon balls, and regain her lost memories...or ultimate power, one of the two anyway.

Personality: Bo is a bit of a wildcard in that she is almost totally amoral but is always very nice about it.

Generally cheery and jovial, Bo is generous, kind and warm as long as it doesn’t get in the way of what she wants. If she is motivated to do so, Bo will become viciously destructive, whether with physical force or manipulation. She won’t even try to think of another way, it’s as if she literally doesn’t know right from wrong and can switch back and forth in an instant.

Not far below the surface of her emotions, Rainbow posses an instinctive, almost animalistic tendency towards violence and fighting. She doesn’t know where this comes from but tempers it with martial arts training.

Her memory loss left her as practically a blank slate until about two and a half years ago and so she is wide eyed and fascinated by things around around her. This creates and air of naivety about her and indeed, there is much of the world that Bo either doesn’t know, or has forgotten. But she is far more intelligent than she is given credit for and is learning fast, making her very dangerous if taken lightly.
And I don't ever wanna bump, like I bumped that day!
I bump, I bump, bump, around the OOC! I bump, I bump, I bump, the only one here is me!
