Aro smiles as Maya introduced herself and Zombie the Archen. Zombie seemed to be curious of the other two Pokemon present, which consisted of Porygon circling Red and Red snapping his jaw in Porygons direction every now and again.

“Nice to meet you Maya, I’m Aro and this is Khelfin.” Aro chimed in.

His attitude had slightly changed, he seemed to be a bit more at ease when he saw Maya and her seeming sense of ease about the conditions. Aro knew he wasn’t the life of the party to most but deep down he knew there was nothing more that he wanted than to feel somewhat happy and at ease about his situation. Unfortunately he knew that was easier said than done.

“ Come on then, we best get going before Miss Amy starts sending out a rescue squad” he laughed vaguely.

After a while of battling through the harsh wasteland Aro’s map started beeping. He held up his hand in a fist signalling for the others to regroup.

“Ok so we are within radius of the fossil according to the map. We need to keep our wits about us. Wild Pokemon may not be as much of an issue but Outlaws and Mewtwo Corp are another thing.” He said with caution.

“Under NO circumstances should we split up, wether we like it or not we have to be a team on this mission. Got it?” He said rather forcefully.

He quickly nodded towards Red before starting to grab out a small device that measured fossilised concentrates in the ground.

“Let’s move out!” Aro said before starting to move again.
Aro was slightly taken back by Khelfin’s response, he was right, people’s needs did change over the course of the events. He didn’t want to apologise though, Aro believed time was too short to regret things. After a few awkward moments Khelfin started to speak again. This time he asked about his Pokemon, his old Pokemon. His expression softened a little.

“I don’t....” Aro stumbled “...I think so...It’s still pretty blurry...” He unraveled before stopping in his tracks.
“Can you hear that?”

From a distance they could see a girl trying to make her way towards the pair. She seemed to be in hastily but lost state.

“Erm..: yo?” Aro laughed
“Do I know you?” He glanced as the girl as she came near, she wasn’t someone Aro recognised but she was coming from the research lab entrance. He saw her gear and started to put it together
“...two at once, you have to be kidding me...” Aro muttered under his breath.
His face changed quickly as he turned to her again.
“New Recruit?.... What’s your name then newbie?” He said with a subtle grin on his face
Aro watched as Miss Amy brought up the holographic map and started to explain their mission. When she was done Aro took the map and slid it into his bag. While doing this he rolled his eyes as he heard Khelfin talking about money, there was nothing that Aro despised more than money hungry people, luckily for Khelfin he couldn’t see Aro’s expression.

“No problem Miss Amy. Same mission, different day right?” Aro sneered before she walked off.

Khelfin turned to Aro and started what seemed like some basic small talk.

“Hey don’t worry about it, we all have our reasons right?” Aro replied. “The name is Aro”

As Aro carried on walking leading Khelfin through the maze like silver corridors, one thing kept capturing Aros attention, the Porygon. Obviously a Pokemon traditionally used by Mewtwo Corp is going to raise some looks but there was something completely unusual about this one. He quickly shrugged it off before reaching their last stop before the mission.

“This is Mission Control Room, it’s where we can grab any gear we need for the mission. In this case I have everything we need but one thing” Aro explained before entering the room.

The room itself was at least double in size compared to any other room in the building filled with Researchers and Hunters alike. Aro walked over to a small door to the side of the room, which almost went unnoticed in the chaos. As he approached the door a computerised voice spoke out.

“IDENTIFY YOURSELF”
“ Fossil Hunter 03 - Aro Stone” Aro replied
“ACCESS GRANTED, HUNTER” The voice said before opening the door to a pitch black space.

Aro walked into the space and crouched down.
“Red. Come on buddy we gotta go” Aro whispered.

Into the light stepped Aro’s only Pokemon, a Tyrunt that was given to him by Genesect Corp once he had completed his rehab training. The Tyrunt seemed calm and collected around Aro, which were both words you wouldn’t usually use to describe Tyrunt. A red beam collected Red into his ball as Aro exited the room.

“Now we’re ready rookie, try not to mess up too much on this mission, after all you wanna get paid right?” Aro smirked as he lead Khelfin out of the Genesect Corp Centre and out into the wasteland.
What sort of limits are you talking about Nyxira?
As far as I’m aware all characters should start out with one Pokemon.
I’d try to keep away from being too overpowering when it comes to a character, it wouldn’t be as fun if your character was already developed into its prime before the RP started. Other than this I believe he’s pretty comfortable with any creative characters and very open minded. Hope this helps 😊
Aro stood there next to the desk as Petros examined the fossil that he had brought back. Petros was one of the Senior Researchers and Scientific development lead at Genesect Corp. Due to the nature of the job Aro had to bring all findings from his field work to the lab to be examined before anything else could be done with them, it could sometimes take hours for Petros to DNA scan the fossils and find out which Pokemon they belonged too.

“I don’t want to speak to soon but I think this may be a piece of old amber. Encased within the Amber will be the DNA of a Pokemon no doubt.” Petros muttered still looking down his microscope at the specimen before him.

“Thank you Aro, now I believe you have been called into Study room 427 by Miss Amy” He continued this time looking up at Aro.

Aro rolled his eyes and frowned, he was grateful to the Genesect Corp for saving him, but sometimes he couldn’t help but think that they should be more grateful to him, after all he had become their best fossil hunter.

“Thanks Petros, I’ll be back soon with some better fossils” He sighed as he left the room, knowing that Miss Amy wasn’t his biggest fan.

He followed along the narrow silver corridors before reaching a large open room. Inside the room, a lot of machinery, half of which Aro still hasn’t seen in use. The other side of her room stood Miss Amy with a new face. He studied the appearance of the new male and then that of his Pokemon, something didn’t sit right with Aro.

He slowly approached Miss Amy, hearing her drab monotone voice getting louder as he approached. He sometimes wish he had been killed so that he didn’t have to hear her voice ever again.

“You wanted to see me Miss Amy?” Aro said rather unenthusiastically
Need me a piece of this action:

My Character:

After being knocked unconscious shortly after the events that decimated the world, Aro woke up alone in an unfamiliar enviroment. Not being able to remember much from before waking up apart from a select few things, he set off into the wasteland to find someone who could piece things together. Eventually he was saved from the toxic environment by a Genesect Corp Admin who was on mission at the time. Over the past few months Aro has worked with Genesect as they try and help with his memory loss as payment for his help collecting fossils. Armed with a Tyrunt from the Admin who saved him, Aro has proven his lack of memory doesn’t hinder his ability to get results within his fossil work.
Aro nodded as Kjolmar suggested that he go first this time. As Kjolmar and Beau made thier way up to the stands Aro walked forward onto the arena. Though it didn't look like much of an arena, grass covered every inch of the floor, tropical flowers and trees were spread about the place. Knowing Gardenia though, she was probably planning to use the nonthreatening looks of her arena to her advantage. Aro had to stay sharp and keep track of her game plan.

"This battle will be set for one fall and is for the Eterna City Gym badge. The challenger is Aro. Please select you pokemon." The announcer said.

"I choose you, Roserade!" Gardenia cried as she threw her pokeball out.

Aro thought about his options. Luna was his obvious go to but on light of his recent revelation thought it best to try and strengthen his team. He pulled out a pokeball from his belt.

"Lets do this, Dante go!" Aro yelled.

As the the Chimchar and Roserade stared at each other, Aro and Gardenia did the same.

"Dante Ember!"

Dante breathed fire in the Roserades direction, but was blocked by a razor leaf attack of its own. The roserade lept out at the chimchar in a counter move.

"Roserade use Poison Jab." Gardenia said as the Roserade made contact.

Dante was sent flying across the room and Aro shuddered. Was this a bad decision? He couldnt lose another pokemon. He buckled down his thoughts and assessed the situation. Leftover embers from Dantes earlier attack had deflected onto a nearby bush and had slightly set fire.

"Dante use flame wheel...." Aro said as Dante got to his feet and started running until his body became a rolling ball of flames.
"... flame wheel that palm tree now."

Dante launched past the roserade and hit a nearby tree which fell and landed ontop of the nearby fire. The Roserade dodged the falling debris as the fallen tree started to set ablaze too. The roserade started to look around for its opponent however there was no sight of Dante. It started getting worried as the flames started to corner it between the bush and tree.

"Now DANTE!" The Chimchar flew out from the flames and tackled the Roserade into the blaze it was trying to avoid. The pokemon crashed to the ground and dust rosee up along with the debris and dirt, most of which suffocated the flames and whatever was left was quickly put out by Seren who Aro had brought out just in case. After all Aro didnt want to burn the place down, just win the badge.

As the dust settled Dante stood although barely clearly taking alot of damage from the impact, the Roserade however was left unconscious due to the super effective typings of the attack.

"Well done Aro, you used your typings and surroundings to win this battle, please take the Forest Badge." she smiled as she handed it over.

Aro retreated both Dante and Seren. He then walked over to the stands.

"I guess its your turn now." He smiled to Kjolmar.
AJ stared out into the water. It was so blue in this city. No matter how much he travelled he was always suprised at the uniqueness of each city he came across on his journey. He looked behind him at the Violet City gym where he had recently beaten Faulkner to earn his first Johto badge. He pulled out a metal case from his bag and opened it. Inside sat 16 gym badges, eight from Kalos where he was from and eight from Kanto which was the last region he visited. He smiled as he placed his 17th badge in its place, before shutting the case and retreating it to his bag.

"Come on Justin, its the first gym. It can't be taking you this long surely." he mumbled to himself.

As he did he was the figure of Justin make his way over.

"So you finally did it huh? Took you long enough to beat a few pidgey's" he chuckled.
Aro watched as Beau was able to take alot more hits from Skuntank that first thought. Beau seemed alot more controlled and resistant in comparison to Belle's sheer speed and agility. After letting Belle and Beau comfort each other after the fight, Aro returned her to her ball. He was impressed on how well Belle had done in taking out Team Galactic's pokemon. even the fact she was Aro's most seemingly vunerable squad member. Maybe this meant that he should change up his battle style more. People who have battled Aro before are mainly used to battling him and Luna, having other strong squad members for battles could give him an upper hand in future battles.

After healing up their pokemon Aro and Kjolmar made there way over to the entrance of Eterna City's gym. Aro stopped and turned to Kjolmar. "Good work back at the Galactic HQ, now our next task while in Eterna i guess is to get our second gym badge. The gym leader in this town's name is Gardenia, she focuses on Grass types. Again that should be helpful info when planning your strategy." He said as he smiled before entering the Gym doors.

Inside the gym was decorated in the most beautiful flowers which looked to have been sent over from the Floroma Meadow. The whole arena was made to look like a beautiful garden of tranquillity. In the middle sat a youngish Girl crossed legged, the pair walked over and introduced themselves.

"Nice to meet you both" The lady chirped. "Im Gardenia....." She looked at Aro and then at Kjolmar.

"so who's first then?" she said with a smile.
Aro nodded at Kjolmars question. "As far as Team Galactic are concerned you can consider them and myself very well acquainted." He whispered.

As Aro began to think of a plan of attack his train of though crashed as Kjolmars Phantump gave away their position to Galactic. He went to send in Luna but then heard Kjolmar suggest that they try out Beau and Belle together. As much as Aro felt unsafe about sending any of his Pokemon into battle other than Luna and Seren, who he had battled with countless times, he realised that behaviour like that would mean his other Pokemon wouldn't grow or learn. He nodded his head and grabbed Belles ball.

"Go Belle!" He yelled as the usually happy bouncy Eevee appeared. Only this time I think Belle knew it was different. The look on her face was one of concentration.

"Belle use your speed to dodge the Puruglys attacks and follow up with Double-Edge!" Aro yelled

Belle darted across the room left to right dodging attacks thrown at her as if it was a game. She then thruster herself off of a nearby wall and propelled herself at speed at the Purugly tackling it in the impact. The purugly was blasted against a wall and struggled to get up.

"Belle finish it with Quick Attack!" He said pointing as he said it.

Belle sprinted at her target with her head bent forward charging ahead. On impact the Purugly fainted and Belle was left standing although you could tell the battle had took a toll on her.
