And my family is in the area around Manila, so that's pretty much where I stayed when I visited for three months. Haven't been back since, and I barely remember the language (like seriously, a couple of words and phrases). It's a shame. I wish I was closer to my mom and that side of the family, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Heya everyone!

Pach - the book I was reading was The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson, book 3 of the Mistborn Trilogy. OMG it's so good. All the characters are so rich and complex and they have good character arcs and development and the store deals with magic, war, politics, divinity and the end of humanity. Like seriously, I highly recommend this serious if you are into this kind of thing.

But aaaaah, need to get ready for work!
