I'm actually going to have to drop out. Sorry.
Mari smiled to herself. Today was the day. The cooking festival was today. She stepped into the plaza, basket in hand and companions at her side. Lilac followed her as always, along with the new addition to their little family, Clover, the orphaned chipsqueek she had found five days ago. They continued on past throngs of people, until she saw familiar faces. Virtus was selling cakes to Nanashi, and Meara was off to the side with Corriander. She walked up to them, determined in her own way.

"G-good morning. Do you mind if I, um, set up my stall next to yours?" She asked, mostly to Virtus. Her free hand rubbed the back of her neck nervously as she sent a friendly smile to Nanashi. "Uh, i-it's just you g-guys seem to be having a good time, and I, um, I also brought some cakes and well, u-um..." She stuttered with the words, trying to convey her wishes to the others. Last year she had sold a good amount of sweets, but she was so nervous being the only one there. People had always told her she was a fine cook, but the truth was she could only make sweets and more homely dishes. Definitely not like the curry her grandmother made. Oh god how that curry burned, she couldn't get the taste off no matter how much milk she drank.
Sorry for lazy post, just wanted to get it out in-between studying.
"Hey Colline, I'm Claire as you already know. Nice to meet you! You're very pretty. Sorry, I just had to tell you." Colline looked up, face turning pink as Claire complimented her.

"U-um thank you. You a-also look very pretty." It was the truth in her opinion, Claire was a very nice looking woman. She was also the first person Colline could remember that had complimented her.

"That's fine, it's still hard to spot a lie. So, here goes. I'll start." Colline nodded at her, ready. She wasn't a very good liar, but she could usually tell a truth from a lie. She hoped that would come in handy.

"I'm a potential alcoholic. I live in a foster home. And, I hate my parents." Colline studied the woman in front of her carefully as she said her statements. Colline twitched slightly at the first. Alcohol... She quietly regained her composure, making sure Claire wasn't looking. The first seemed probable, but you could never tell. People hid many things behind smiles. She knew this first hand.

"I-I think the first one is t-true." Colline spluttered out nervously. She hoped that Claire wouldn't be offended. "The second is true, and the third is ,um, false..." Colline diverted her gaze. That was a lot to assume about one person.

She smiled, hoping that Claire wouldn't see her hesitation about the statements. "My parents are divorced, I like squash, and I can play the violin well."
I wrote a spot yesterday but the same thing happened. But don't worry, Mari is back, complete with cake and stuff.
Tiffany looked up at Jorn, giving him a weak smile. "Thank you, i-it's alright." She sucked in a breath. now was not the time to be weak. Here were others, just like her, going through everything she was, and they weren't crying or breaking down.

"Hey, I'm not sure if you believe me, but I broke my right index finger just a while back and...well, it kinda healed up already." Tiffany glanced back up at Jorn as he said this, surprised and worried. Why was he breaking his fingers? Was that something people normally did when they found out they were possessed? She guessed they were the only ones who had this experience.

"Y-you shouldn't do that, even if we are... immortal." Tiffany hadn't thought of it before, but compared to her past she was relatively healthy. She flashed back to all the times she had been so sick she was bed ridden. She knew more about the doctors that treated her than her own classmates, which she had rarely interacted with. Now, she supposed, there wouldn't be a chance to talk to people without this condition normally, not without the voice ranting about how they were liars every time they told a fib. God, Lies was worse than any teacher with its constant lectures.

She was about to reach out to him for comfort, but was interrupted by Katherin walking back into the room, along with a man who wasn't there previously. Tiffany lowered her hand, wondering about the man. Was he the 'death' that Katherin had spoke- written of?

She listened to the conversation, accepting a drink. She swallowed some, before holding the can and swirling the rest around inside of it. "Um, so, does anyone want to, uh, tell me a lie and something true or something?" She hoped that would prove she wasn't crazy, just like the other girl, Evelyn, who had proven sane a few minutes ago.
Really, really, really sorry :(. My computer caught a virus, and this week we had midterms. I'll be here as much as I can, but I might not be here 24/7.
I'm baaaaaaaack!
Colline turned her attention back to the people around her as Claire began talking. She turned at what Claire said. They had to go up to people they didn't even know and determine whether they were lying. Not only that, but if they didn't get it right, one or both had to jump into the ocean. Colline swallowed nervously as she looked around at the group. She was all for swimming here, it looked great, but it would be thoroughly embarrassing. And how on earth was she of all people supposed to choose a partner.

"You." Claire looked directly at Colline. "Get on over here, girl!" Colline glanced back at Claire, slightly curious as to who she chose. She froze again. Claire was talking to her, or at least she thought so.

Colline nervously walked towards the woman. Now that she got a closer look, Claire seemed only a few years older than herself. Shifting from foot to foot, she looked up at Claire.

"H-hi? I, um, I-I'm Colline." She muttered nervously, tucking her hair back away from her face. She had considered using hair clips, but they always annoyed Colline when they slipped, so she just decided to let her curls free.

"I, uh, I'm not a very good liar." The dock suddenly seemed very interesting to Colline, and she kept her gaze there. It was less unnerving than actually looking at someone. She mentally hit herself. This was not how to politely speak with someone. Her gaze moved back up to Claire, before looking her in the eyes. The blonde seemed rather friendly, if not a little too enthusiastic.
Sorry, my computer caught a virus. I shall lead strangers into my house soon, and then there is that collab that Zombehs and I made. Ugh the virus kept telling me to do stuff and then it shut my computer down, wiping the memory. I have my brother to thank for that.
