He eyed the butler for long seconds before he eventually spoke again, "Be careful who you back into a corner." Blink didn't wait to see the butler's reaction, as he teleported away.

"Oh, so she gets a 'what brings you here', and i get a fist to the gut? Not to mention that poor butler." He interrupted from behind Mikkish. He was standing a distance away, far enough that he felt relatively sure that he could escape before Mikkish could close the distance and attack, given the speed he demonstrated earlier. He was twirling his dagger in his hand. The blade was reminiscent of a katana's, but much shorter, straight, and the rest of the dagger was nothing like the iconic sword.

Wow this is getting a lot of attention for a space NRP, any room for one more?@Hael

The amount of time i spent laughing at your signature is unhealthy. xD Anyway, i'm pretty sure it hasn't been closed yet, either way, it wouldn't hurt if you wanted to start working on a sheet until you get a response from hael or lauder
Just culture and spaceships left, mostly, finally. xD
The mention of jetpacks makes me thing of some dumbass soldier trying to use a jetpack to move around in the cramped corridors of a gravity-less space ship and just repeatedly slamming into the walls because there's no room to maneuver.

I haven't shown anyone my NS yet, but I actually have giant worm-like soldiers that wear devices to fly, and are used in all boarding parties.

Plus, most Xim ships don't actually have anti-gravity: only the big ones. Smaller ships don't have anti-gravity, warp, or so on.

So I actually have a legit countermeasure- my people are already equipped for that.

A shame spiders' famous stickiness doesn't scale up all too well. xD Guess i'll have to look into something else, because i can think of problems for boots and jetpacks.
Yes, artificial gravity is completely fine, and you can assume that everyone has it in some form or another.

I just realized, that may be a good anti-boarding technique, to just, not have gravity on your ship. In less professional games it's the kind of situation no one plans for until it comes up, and then they go, 'Oh my guys totally have magnetic boots, or jetpacks, or something.'

Of course, now that i bring it up, everyone, including me, is going to make sure it's clear they have a countermeasure to that XD
By the time i finish my own character sheet i'm going to have an essay longer than it about a dozen different technologies i'm curious about xD
and started working on the explody bits and the bits that go boom.

Those are always the best bits! ;)
The instant the door to his room opened, he dropped to his knees, sliding the dagger out of it's sheath. Only then did he notice it was just the butler. Or, it looked like the butler. Did his enemy have the ability to shape shift as well? Fuck! Why couldn't he have a simple, easy-to-identify set of powers?

Slowly, Blink approached the butler, and the second he felt the chill of metal on his finger, he teleported, the key with him. He didn't go far, just to the opposite end of the room again. "Room, you say?" He asked, looking it over.

"I have a room?" He revised his question after a moment passed.
@Brink_ That looks better, in my opinion.
