<Snipped quote by Source>

I cannot immediately discern how.

I think he's talking about a literal physical barrier like a wall made of some real material, not a barrier made of energy or the like.

Drake: .... to be honest, ive never tried.

Want to try now, while everyone's discussing things?
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

*forms a small orb of darkness in his left hand before dispelling it and looking at you*
Yeah.

Perfect.
@Souleaterfan320 Drake, when you merge with shadows can you bring along anyone else?
@Darlit Glitch

Drake: ... oh, hey, I was just thinking about something. I have an ability to become an Intangible shadow, and trsvel through shadows undetected. Perhaps while you guys are doing whatever it is you are doing, I can gather intel from our enemies' conversations?

That might work. In fact...
@ZAVAZggg Zazriel you said you can make a shroud of shadows right?
If we go for a frontal assult, do you you could create a ball of shadows and lob it across the city?
<Snipped quote by Realmatic>

-Teapot- I'll be as undetected as nothing! *After a few moments, I tip over and pour out a holographic diagram of the entire city, silver, green, and gold* Okay, so where are the access points usually placed?

*Watches the diagram closely.*
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

This is only sensible, though if X's method is viable and Zazriel can do as he says, we could hit one at a time with that strategy and with little conflict. Negative of one large team: Teth's guards can prepare for us at other locations. Negative of multiple teams: not all the teams may be able to accomplish the shielding that Zazriel can, so a fight would be inevitable.

I'll leave that decision to you and the others, as I've had my fill of debate for the day.
This is phase one. We don't actually get to Teth at this time. The point of infiltrating each access point is to take these--*holds up some USB-like devices* and put them into each undamaged access point. Mild environmental damage is fine, because the server has auto-repair capabilities. There are not many civilians; mostly guards will be there because of Teth. The only real obstacle in getting to the access points is the guards—not physical obstructions. We just have to get into each point, plug in, guard it while it's working, and get out. I apologise for being so unclear. I hope laying out the details like this helps.

The details help a lot, because the previous information had it sounding somewhat different from what it was.
Of that's the case then, All I suggest is that we go in and try to knock out or immobilize as many guards as we can on our way in, defend ourselves as we mess with the system, and then get out.
Three teams of four would probably work, and I'm fine with whatever alternative entry methods X has thought up.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

Which is why speed is ideal.

Caution and restricted destruction are also ideal.
Because all I'm suggesting is that we split up into three teams, sneak in, hijack the access points, meet up, storm the part of the server we're after, wreck it, and get out.

Each team would be made of four people, unless we have some guarding our exit point, and we can easily just resort to a mad dash if stealth is blown out the window.
It would be fast, efficient, focused, and cover all of the requirements of our objectives without causing unnecessary harm or risking the point of the operation itself.

I've listened to the various plans proposed. In any case, she isn't going to have a victory here because this is rather inconsequential to her, ultimately.

Inconsequential to her yes. To us, not so much.
The point of this is to free some people that are willing to help us so that we have a better chance of getting rid of Teth. By getting rid of Teth, we would put a hitch in her plan and delay Tamerline, giving us a better fighing chance when it comes to winning.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

And if their perceptive abilities are greater than anticipated?

We either push through or fall back and regroup.
Besides. It's not like we have a choice here. We either try to do this the best way possible on our first go and resort to worse methods if it fails, or we botch it with a halfhearted attempt and the crazy lady gets her way.
After all, we don't have many chances.

...also do you even know what my proposed plan is?
