@Kho Truthfully, all the portfolios I want are taken: Nature, Trickster, Knowledge. Night was the first and foremost, but all my auxiliary ones are taken.

Tell you what, I'll split 'em with that exact same mentality. Howabout the stats that make up the constellations are mine and not apart of any solar system. They're 'magic whatever'. He controls all Suns, which can still be seen, only a bit more dimly due to their distance. Constellation stars are nowhere near the size of their solar counterparts, or as warm.

Otherwise, we're going to start having to define who gets the nebulas and gas clouds, who gets the ice fields, the planets, and who gets the every thing that people think are 'stars' when they look up at the night sky.

But yeah, make them fundamentally different. Maybe each planet has a localized starfield? Or even you know... just not the stars we know? Heck, I think a player in the last game made them dragon eggs or something.

@Double Capybara See, I was going to for that shtixk, cause I even wanted to make the Aurora as well. But there's a character a page or two back whose already going for the sky theme. While mine is 'Night'. I'd do it if I could get away with it.

@Vec Howabout this, since the universe isn't and doesn't function like ours: The Sun ISN'T A star. Stars aren't suns. They're can be more than one sun, but they're very different...

Every mythology in existence claimed the sun and stars were different things. Objects or people and so forth. Never DID they Say "THESE ARE THE SAME things, EXCEPT THIS one is closer and those are further away.

So maybe you can be God of the sun. Big ball that lights the day, allows crops to grow, warms the planet. I'm the god of the things that twinkle in the night sky at night and tell stories through their arrangement. You don't touch mine, I don't touch yours. Sounds fair?

@Vicier I'd prefer the text, and thank you for giving me that option. Question! Because all I have left is backstory...

Riordian writes that Tyche is the hardest of the goddesses to find. And she's the goddess of luck... would it be alright if Bran (my character) won the jackpot for Demigods: a normal childhood. No monsters, no magic, just a loving mother and father and siblings. Mundane and boring, but peaceful. Tyche more or less played the mortal mom role for awhile, so he knows (and loves her) on a more personal level.

At the very least it's different from everyone's 'my godly parent left and this had caused strife and angst!'
