I'll be away till Sunday, stuffing my face with traditional turkey and cornbread dressing, pretending to enjoy the company of my family members whom I never see other than holidays.

I hope it's ok that I reduced the number of zombies like the GM requested. I figured Scout and Desmond can finish of the ones below or whoever else is trying to meet up at the apartments. Which means only two zombies are left which are ascending the stairs towards me, Hunter, and Cole.

"I'll love you forever, even after you're dead"

Sarah wasn't in any rush to deal with all the commotion and was grateful for Hunter@Remipa Awesome, especially for his valiant display of actions. Her light blue eyes relaxed slightly, yet she remained in her position by the window as he moved to open the door. Her grip tightened on the pistol as a man fell through, although she was unable to get a decent look at him until Hunter commanded her to "Watch Him." Her gaze lightened with familiarization as she studied the intruder. She recognized him to be the infamous Cole Anderson@Desire, a quarterback for the Eagles. Yes, she and her husband enjoyed watching football and playing Madden on PS3 together. Although her favorite team was the Texans, she could recognize an abundance of players for the NFL. A soft smile played at her lips, doubting that he mean't any harm. Then again, she was pretty naive and sheltered.

A pause in gunshots forced her attention to the situation outside the apartment door, which was wide open. Hunter stood in the doorway, facing what she only assumed was the onslaught of walkers. Why had he stopped? Assuming he was out of ammo, she quickly moved from the window and peeked at the doorway to get a better view. She counted, four maybe five of the hungry beasts, three were on the landing and two were making their way up the stairs. Stepping out of the doorway while raising her handgun, she quickly aimed and fired five shots. Her first two missed their mark completely, and only seemed to anger the zombies as they closed the distance. Her third shot was a remarkable head shot to the closest walker, which fell clumsily to the concrete landing of the floor. Her fourth shot grazed the cheek of the second walker, but the fifth found it's way home to it's head soon after. He...or actually a she fell to the floor, which tripped the third walker who landed, then ferociously clawed towards her. He was only about eight feet away. Her blue eyes focused down the barrel, aiming for a head shot...but then...

He was fresh, and probably had turned earlier in the day. It was easy to recognize him. His once beautiful brown eyes were now a cloudy grey full of ghostly rage. His clothes were tattered and torn, but she recognized the Raiders jersey that she had purchased for him just last year. Lastly to confirm, her eyes slowly fell upon the white gold wedding ring which glinted slightly beneath the sunlight as he clawed towards her, quickly closing what remained of the distance between them. She saw nothing but her husband as she dropped her pistol in defeat to her side. Steven...

OCC: Went ahead and reduced the number of zombies like the GM requested. Plus I figured I would get this over with. Pain and total loss to come. Be ready for the weeping widow.
@ApollosarcherThat is a perfect idea. CS will be up, probably tomorrow evening.
Can I play a certified companion????!! If so, I'm in this shit!

A soft smile played upon her supple lips as her rare azure lanterns locked with the man's gaze. He was a lot taller than she, a physicality that she preferred in a man. She stood, relaxed within the door frame of the bedroom while he struggled to find his voice. Considering his weathered condition, it was obvious it had been awhile since he had seen a woman, especially one as beautiful as she. Lucky for her, the whole "world in chaos" situation had been far to kind. She wasn't sure if it was due to her charm and elegant grace, or her talents to always get what she wanted...seeing as everything was fuzzy. Why won't this headache go away?? It was honestly infuriating, this lack of memory and the ability to recall what she did last night. She figured the cocaine would stimulate herself out of the fuzzy coma but all it did was make her restless.

"Um, anyway, My name is Damian, and I can't express enough of my gratitude to you. If you need anything, then consider me at your service." "Damian.... She gracefully closed the distance between them, never taking her seductive gaze away from him. "...anything I need? Her eyes fell to his lower extremities, then slowly rose as she eyed his physical appearance, as a hunter would observe his prey. "Don't make promises that you can't keep, darling." She then brushed passed him, her warm skin connecting with his briefly. She was eager to find something to drink. She wasn't exactly sure what she was thirsty for....but alcohol was always the answer right? Plus, she needed to offer a guest some refreshments. That would be the proper thing to do.

"I'm sure you're thirsty from your travels. Sit down, relax. Take a load off." She called out to him as she danced into the kitchen, the cocaine spiking energy into her veins. She retrieved a bottle of wine along with a bottle of water. As she returned to the living room, she tossed the bottle of water to the man, automatically assuming that he wasn't the alcoholic type. If he did feel like indulging, hopefully he would be a man and just ask for what he wanted. Whether it be the alcohol...or her.

"Miss Sophia, I don't think we're alone in this building any longer. I'm not sure how you wish to handle it, but I'd prefer to avoid bloodshed if possible. Avoiding conflict and coming to a peaceful solution would be nice, but my early experience has shown that to be unlikely" She suddenly had the overwhelming feeling that they in fact were no longer alone. Perhaps it was the man in her bed from earlier? She hoped it was, seeing as she had so many questions for him. She didn't mind more company. In fact, she welcomed it, being the social butterfly that she was. Her voice was loud, yet sweet as honey. "You're welcome to join us, whoever you are out there." She highly doubted that whoever was about to make their grand entrance could be a threat, and even if they were, she was confident that she would be able to handle herself. As if in response, her ruby necklace pulsed defiantly against her heart.

I'm considering joining this. Most likely as a Duchess.
It's great to see all the interest! As for the type of zombies, I was thinking just your average walkers, because we'd all be done for otherwise. Unless a lot of you would rather use specialized zombies. I'm open to suggestion.

I like this idea...because I can't run for shit.

This is me at the gym...which I go for like....for a month...of January...every year...only because of my New Year's Resolution.
Should I wait for @Crazy Doctor to post or can I go ahead and respond with Freya?@Akayaofthemoon

@Snarfulblast"Sweet Willow is a doll. I'm glad she was the first one you've met. Sophia turned to see if any of the other employees were present, but was sad to see only Snarf was behind the bar, who was making an announcement concerning free drinks. Pointing to the dwarf, she spoke to Thomas. "That's Snarf, our amazing bartender. He essentially can get you any "poison" you'd like." She held up her empty glass and nodded to the bartender that she would enjoy a refill of Cristal, especially if the horny "Devil" was buying. Her green eyes connected with an unfamiliar gentleman at the bar, whom she smiled elegantly at. @Sombrero Turning her attention back to Thomas, she added, "There is a full list of employees on the notice board next to the bar, but I'm sure you'll get to meet everyone soon enough."

I walk down the hallway
You're lucky
The bedroom's my runway."

"I'll love you forever, even after you're dead"

@Remipa Awesome Sarah smiled softly at Hunter as he took a seat next to her and began to ramble on to sway the conversation from the awkwardness that had occurred. Although, his statement about the safe house peeked her interest. The rumored "safe haven" was still broadcasting. That was where her husband had left to check out. Perhaps, he had made it but couldn't leave to come back for her. Or something was keeping him there. Either way, the "safe haven" held the answers to all her unanswered questions, and hopefully she would be reunited with her one true love. "I would love to join..." Before she could finish her response, she was interrupted by a loud commotion of a motorcycle followed by footsteps, more than one set, exploded on the third floor landing just outside.

Standing quickly, she reached for her handgun and clicked the safety off. Running to the window, she peeked from the blinds just as a man reached her doorway...along with several walkers. She couldn't see how many. Fear gripped her, made her freeze within the moment as she hesitated to open the door. She wanted to help the man....but wasn't sure if her and Hunter could handle the walkers. What had happened to the barricade?? The man banged on the front door, her ice blue eyes looked in terror towards it but she couldn't move. Movement from below caught her attention as she saw another man and woman@FortunesFaded run towards the first floor. Where were all these people coming from? What were the chances of them being friendly? Were they working together to take her, to take her home? Sarah stood frozen as she glanced back at the door as the pounding continued, unsure what to do. @Desire
