“In this world, winning is everything; winners are validated and losers are denied. This difference is the ultimate truth.”-Steven Crest
Occupation: Student
Description: Due to the way Steven grew up during childhood, he developed a strong winners-mentality, believing that winners get everything in life while losers are denied all. He is a forceful and hardworking person underneath his obsession and is actually kind of lame when he isn't trying to compete with anyone. Due to Natalie's influence, he was beginning to change his fixation to a healthier path of unbreakable determination and improving after losing before she disappeared. This has caused him to relapse into his old ways although his much kinder self still resides when interacting with Astrape who he affectionately calls his stalwart companion.
Steven possesses a high degree of confidence and has an innate desire to be a leader. He likes to take control and is motivated by maintaining high standards and priding himself in his and Astra's success. While not really into the whole King and Vassal dynamic Steven plays along with Astra's roles and takes as more motivation in doing his boss in order to feel deserving of such loyalty.

Background:
Steven was born into a rich family that possesses its own business. Due to his mother dying in childbirth and being the only heir in their family, he was obligated to succeed in all areas by his strict father to the point that the more skills he mastered, the more he was given to master.
As a child born to a household of such great status and reputation, expectations were a huge part of Steven’s life in every regard, from the beginning. Sports, school, art. He grew up believing that winning in any context was everything and that losers will be denied of their desires and be cursed to live an unfulfilling life. This caused him to grow up with a fixation on victory, a belief that he must win at all costs. With this razor focus on dominance and winning, he participated and competed with everyone in his life. This earned him a sobriquet in Central Castle High School, as the Tyrant of Victory.
Despite his success, Steven became very lonely, because he had antagonized everyone by always wanting to be the best and treating them as rivals and stepping stones. He was left with no real companions but followers and yes men, beginning to feel hollow in his endeavors in life. This self-destructive path continued until he met Natalie Evans, a simple girl whose parents just happened to win the lottery last year and enrolled her in one of the best schools in the city. To him she was nobody, to her he was a childish person who didn’t like losing. So, she challenged him with a bet, a simple and childish one she thought fitting for him. She challenged him to a game of Dice World. Never being able to back down from a challenge Steven took the bait and lost. While angry at his loss and loudly being a sore loser. Steven felt exhilarate and determined, forming a much healthier rivalry and friendship with Natalie while beginning to love games of chance and using a majority of his allowance on Dice World in order to support the creators, much to the distaste of his father. Through this friendship and support, Steven’s drive became a much healthier unbreakable determination to win rather than an obsession.
Then Natalie Evans was declared missing, an event that devastated Steven to his core. Her being his only support pillar caused him to relapse into his old mentality as the Tyrant of Victory. And now three years from that faithful day, summoned in Dice World he suspects it has a link to her disappearance and will stop at nothing to find his answers.
