Thought: A Hamilton-esque comedy-musical about the Russian Revolution, from Trotsky's point of view. Lenin would take a Washington-type role, the Tsar would be King George, and Stalin is Jefferson

@Ophidian How do you think I feel? I'm 40-odd years behind you, and that STILL holds true for me.

Just here for a bit of roleplay occasionally. I have an odd schedule, so please don't get too upset if I disappear. I'll do my best to let you know beforehand, though.

No, because everyone knows that under our oppressive meat sacks, lies a heroic, bony skeleton ready to fight in the Skeleton Wars! TO ARMS, COMARDES!
@Dinh AaronMk@DepressedSoviet
YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF FUCKING REVISIONISTS

>Calls us Revisionists
>Supports Stalin
@Dinh AaronMkLenin's plan was the most successful and publicly welcomed, so I'd say that. Barring that, go with Trotsky, as Lenin trusted him enough to say that he preferred to see Trotsky in charge over Stalin. Also Stalin 0/10 worst leader would not vote in rigged election for again.
@Lady SeluneI'm thinking a mission format. IE Through the chain of command, an order comes down for our group to say, break up a strike at a car factory, we load up, and ship out the said area, where the strike is already in progress. Now, how we actually break up the strike is up to what you guys choose to do upon arrival to the area, and from there the progress of the rebellion is affected. The missions would chain together through common characters and events, folding together in a story.
@BCTheEntityPersonally, I want to avoid anything based on writing ability, because that just seems wrong and insulting, to tell someone their character lost because their writing wasn't good enough. I also proposed a method where the two participants in a match, as well as myself, would converse to reach an agreement on the final outcome of the match, based on character abilities, however people seemed to disagree with that idea. If you or anyone else can come up with another alternative, and enough people agree to it, I'm fine using that, but until then, the random outcome seems to be the most-favored method of doing the tournament.
@BCTheEntityWell, given how we've previously agreed on how to settle match results(via a random tournament bracket, and a coin flip for each map, with the winner of the flip being the winner, and the actual fight RP'd out to the random result) Power levels and balance don't really exist, and powers listed on the character are more for knowing HOW they could beat their opponent, more than if they will or not. Now, if we get a really ridiculous result, I may fudge it for the sake of the story(assuming everyone involved is okay with that), but overall the skills list is more to act as an index for the roleplaying segments, rather than a system of balance.
@BCTheEntityHe looks fine to me. I'm not seeing anything that stands out as too concerning, so go ahead and throw him on over into the character's tab.
@HylozoistSorry I haven't really been posting, but Elarin wasn't really going to do anything during that entire showdown, so I felt it was best to just wait until it was over and do a larger post covering his reaction to the entire thing, which will be up by the end of the day today.
