I just had to set my boyfriend down for a nap after capturing Pokemon. I think we're back in 2005, everybody.

I've been kicking & screaming for the past 23 orbits around Sol. If you learn about me through the multimedia I upload, then I am whoever you interpret me to be. My interests are ever-wavering, but I am always down for a space adventure or history lesson. I am not big on E.R.P but if the story happens to naturally come up to that point, please keep it tame.
{The Austean stuck between two parallel worlds: one she loved & one she grew accustomed to.}
@Din don't move the storyline ahead unless you get permission from Intel! Did you also work with the people in your post to create that? If not you'll need to completely redo your post.
Sorry, I thought this post would carry us directly to the next RP where they stop for gas, so I added that. I can edit that sentence. I'm not sure what you're asking about in the next sentence, though. Do you mean if they said those words before my post?
Location: En route to the Powerbound Alliance Sanctuary, Colombia. Interacting with: Her family and her brother, Jesse.
Nyt took a moment to observe all the interesting faces that showed up to this stunningly strange gathering of unlikely friends. She had grown up with a large family and an even more extensive library of cousins she could barely keep track of when they visit in the Oregonian summertime. Some she liked, some she didn't; but regardless, they were family. Now, she was ready to make her own "family", so to speak. Even if no one was blood-related to her on this planet, most of them treated her relatively well, noting that she probably felt the most alone not only because she was an alien, but she was an alien with powers. She looked up and realized people were starting to pile into the helicopter. She put her phone away in a secret pocket she had sewn onto her romper dress after sending the long-awaited text she so desperately wanted to use as an inside joke between her and her entire family, "This is the Public Affairs Officer at Ground Control in San Diego, California. The final countdown for PBA-01 has begun at 02:45 AM on April 1, 2026. The ground crew has begun filling the liquid-oxygen tank and the liquid-hydrogen tank in the external tank. The attendees have entered the Heli-Copter through the access hatch and are stowing their gear. We are now at T-30 minutes to liftoff," and stood behind Aja to await their turn in the queue of superheroes that needed transportation. Her brother Jesse was the first to text her: the one she feuded with most of her life over normal achievements but with their close age-range, it was all a competition. "Anything in particular you want to listen to during take off?" he asked; she could picture his intense eyes studying her choice of music, which she knew he loved. "That song from Samurai Champloo, of course." Nyt was the happiest to oblige, mostly because that’s what her brothers would always request of her: her taste in songs. It was a high compliment from the eight Vikings who needed to be silenced every now and then by a great jam.
Nyt immediately headed straight for bed and into the warm layers of her bed in the room she shared with fellow superhero, Edwina “Lucifer” Fairfax. She grew fond of the rather quirky redhead and the two shared a bond with their powers. Whereas Nyt can harvest and control sound waves, Eddie could manipulate light waves any way she saw fit. The two could sleep instantly by taking away the outside sources who bugged their sleep or any sunlight that hit their face that could awaken the groggy girl. However, when she arrived to their bedroom, Eddie was nowhere in sight. She decided to take advantage of complete sense of privacy and freely peeled off her costume, and jumped straight into her beloved pajamas: a simple black v-neck shirt and black shorts to accommodate the climate change. She ejected Instant Crush by Say Lou Lou all throughout the room as she sat down her desk to prepare for her nightly ritual: she opened the bedroom window, the song softly playing in the background, and pulled out a pen with one hole at the end in order to vape the substance in the cartridge, a medicinal and recreational blend of cannabis called a hybrid of sorts. She never payed attention to names and puffed away every few minutes while lost in the song. The stars were brighter than they ever were in Oregon and she let her eyes be consumed by the stellar scene before her. To the untrained eye, they couldn’t see the gaseous materials being ejected all throughout space but she could definitely feel it. The entire galaxy was loud with meteorites whizzing by and she picked up every single last one of them since she was 13. It was an intense experience but throughout time, she began to use it as a way to lull her into sleep with the celestial white-noise caressing her into sleep. She continued for several more moments before putting it away, upright in her drawer, and closed it softly. She stood up and walked away from the desk, yawning as she stretched before bed. She had decided that she was ready to create her own recorder using the same device her sister had left behind, to send a message to her sister. The only thing that held her back was how, in fact, would she get it out into space and towards her sister’s general direction. She assumed it needed a beacon and that it could only be opened by someone with the same fingerprints as the twins, but no doubt, someone smarter could find a way around it. A shapeshifter in her own group could do it, the bastard! She walked over to the outfit she had discarded and pulled out the recorder. As tired as the poor energy-consumed alien could be, she still wanted to at least peak at its’ files through her own tablet. Her father, no doubt, had some kind of software to handle it. She could only hope that, if all else fails, Adrian could infiltrate it or Aja could dark-blast it to hell.
Location: En route to the Powerbound Alliance Sanctuary, Colombia. Interacting with: Adrian//Vega - @Parfex, and Aja//Black Cat - @Endrance.
Nyt absentmindedly waved her hand at Adrian as he broke himself away to attend to his personal business. In her hand, it dawned on her that she was in fact holding an item that her older sister once touched. The world began to grow smaller around her and she began to hear the beautiful tune of the Arurian Dance by Nujabes as she slowly stood up and continued to inspect the piece. "We have the same fingerprints..." She looked up and realized people were starting to pile into the helicopter. She put the shiny case away in a secret pocket she sewed onto her romper dress and stood behind Adrian to await their turn in the queue of superheroes that needed transportation. Aja slinked up behind her and hooked arms with the alien girl, who was only slightly startled by her newfound friend. "Anything in particular you want to listen to on the ride home?" she asked the two she was sandwiched between and Aja gave her a wide grin. "The soundtrack from Samurai Champloo, of course." Nyt was the happiest to oblige, mostly because that’s what her brothers also use to request of her: her taste in songs. It was a high compliment from the eight Vikings who needed to be silenced every now and then by a great jam. "How about we start off with the Arurian Dance, then?" Adrian and Aja agreed in unison and sat together in the back of the helicopter. After their leader, Lisa, counted heads and gave instructions about what was expected of them once they returned home, Nyt played away to her heart's content the music she stored with her when her phone was incapable of being used or out of reach. In all reality, Nyt practically transmitted the sound waves straight from her corporeal body, but she preferred to eject it through her shoulders so she didn't use up too much energy. When she began to fall asleep, the music itself began to fade until she entered the dreamworld, where she heard it in her sleep but the others around her couldn't unless they were asleep as well. It was definitely a strange connection, but for the music lovers, it lived through all of them. In her dream, she saw all the new faces she had just met recently who brought their unique abilities to this Superhero Table. Once again, she felt the relief of not being the only one who had to carry the world on her shoulders. It manifested itself in the form of Adrian, who swirled around her like a celestial body ready to collide with a desolate planet. She could see his lips moving, but she only heard the faint song, Breathe by Télépopmusik, coming from his mouth. In the dream, she decided he was a good singer. She slowly woke up as they descended from the air to land on the helicopter pad and then she realized Adrian would also help her carry the world that wasn’t theirs.
Nyt smiled one last time at Alexandra as shied away and approached the Iron Hand. She looked around at the sea of faces: how in the hell would she ever remember all of these many names and personalities? Not to mention their unique abilities! Oi, Nyt… What have you gotten yourself into?, she pondered and moved towards the back of the group to hang out next to Black Cat and Masquerade. As she absentmindedly paid attention to their conversation, her heart began to sink and she found herself getting clammy. She realized she was extremely anxious to continue adventuring with these people and she almost said, “I’m going home,” were it not for Lisa speaking up. "So, how many of you will call yourselves proud members of the Powerbound Alliance?" Yes, how many? She looked around. They all either nodded silently or agreed with all their heart. She could just walk out if she really wanted to – and she did want to; she longed for nothing more than to drive up and down the West Coast one last time. Then she realized… She had finished the Gilmore Girls on Netflix and now was out of ideas for the next show to binge on. Crap, I guess I’ll stay. She gave Lisa a decided nod of approval and a sincere smile. If only her space-bound sister could see her now, ready to take on this world called Earth. She looked around to see if anyone else would be joining them and spotted a fair-haired girl who looked quite startled at the numerous amount of people that had gathered up for the superhero club. She gave the girl a welcoming smile and then looked up at the clear night sky that was twinkling with stars. Her ears became piqued by a sharp metallic sound and she winced hard as her ears picked up several more of them. There was meteorites passing overhead, invisible to most of the people’s eyes as they weren’t in any danger. But Nyt knew they were there – she could hear them. After all that, she began to smile again and pointed up, getting the girl's attention who happened to reveal her name was Daphne. ”There are some meteorites passing by. I wish we could see them. They’re gorgeous to watch on a night like this.”
