I know almost all Dutch roleplayers but I don't know all Roleplayers sadly. Some have taken to going 1941 style and 'duiken onder' causing me not to know whether those people are Dutch.

I think halberd is usually used by footmen to fend against knight and calvary types soldiers. And they probably use like a pike wall with their sharp pointy edge while the axe can be used to pull someone down from his or her horses. Here is the link that I think it will be useful to you:
