I would say that would probably include parchment or paper and ink + quill. The compass can be brought along just fine but its not an artefact. No one is bringing an artefact since its supposed to be a legendary work of craft shared by all the gobbos and not taken by anyone person. Unless you would really want to just have a legendary quality compass instead of a legendary quality weapon or crown or something.

@ClocktowerEchos how would you feel about the inclusion of a gang of semi-marginalized kobolds that have formed an amateurish gang of kleptomaniacs that, basically, attempt to appease and mimick their goblin friends but end up mostly just making a fool of themselves? Or are you exclusively interested in goblin gangs? There is some overlap in DF in terms of races; elves can join goblins in rare situations and even lead them, however as you said, sticking to the rigidity of the game rules might be tedious and.. boring, honestly.

I love the kobolds, and they basically die off in most worlds, so I'd love the chance to use them in some/any capacity. :-)

Boy X Boy Roleplay...But I'm a Girl

The problem is, is that I'm a girl and it's likely no one wants to do roleplay with someone basically pretending to be a guy.

I thought this was a roleplaying forum, dedicated entirely to playing things we aren’t by pretending to be. I’m not a cool suave medieval swordsman (much as I try to be) but I still play one in roleplays. I think sex/gender is one of the easier things to crossplay. I have a better idea of how to play a woman than I’ll ever have of how to play an alien in a sci-fi idea.

In short: nobody cares if you’re a woman playing a man.

@Kalleth unfortunately my master thesis has kept me quite occupied for the last few days and I was intending to use this time to write for the contest. Turns out reading academic articles in the number I'm trying to takes much more time and energy than I had anticipated (and while this is a rookie mistake, I've been around the block, so I should've known better). Apologies to Calle for promising my entry and having to renege on that. :-(
