Meruin frowned a wee bit. "Unfortunately, I don't 'fight' very well. If our rankings are indeed reliant on this . . . I might have plans to make, Could you tell me the way to the dormitories? I have plans to make."

Delilah blinked and then laughed, "Well you're in the dormitories right now. This is actually my room, they won't give me my own office till I graduate. I can tell you the way to yours though." She said helpfully.

"Yes; they're to determine our rank, correct?" said Meruin. "How is that relevant?"

"Well they're also used during fights to help regulate things. Wars are for lots of fight at once to help stir up the rankings. So its probably going to be boys v girls for the first war, which means you'll have to fight against someone from the boys dorm and if you loose, you'll drop a rank." Delilah explained before standing, "For now we have to get you to your room though."

Delilah looked surprised and then laughed slightly, "Or right, you're a new student so you wouldn't know very well. You know how the gauntlets work and what they're for right?"

Delilah smiled and nodded, when there was suddenly a knock on the door. Spinning around in her chair she called out, "Come in!"

An instructor poked his head into the room an said, "Hey, I'm just letting you know you're on duty tomorrow too. The first years are having their first war and the nurse's mother is sick so she's going back to the mainland so we need you to be the onsite nurse incase someone gets hurt."

Delilah smiled and gave him a mock-salute, "Can do sir." The instructor smiled and nodded, leaving the room. Delilah turned back to Meruin, "So do you need help finding your room?"
