Well, that's good to hear. I just have to decide what my character is gonna be like. I assume their gonna be a lot of body horror/ other toys suffering horribly?

Nope, that's not the norm, unless you get turned into a Twisted by an Unnatural. Basically, if you look into an Unnatural's eyes, you'll slowly begin to turn into an Unnatural. Being a Twisted is basically the middle point between being a "normal" being and an Unnatural; you're not a "normal" being anymore, but you're also not an Unnatural yet. Also, the Twisted start showing signs of body horror as they continue to transform into an Unnatural, and the Unnatural they become isn't even them anymore, meaning they have practically died.

Is the leader of the Unnatural some sort of ancient eldritch god? How easy would our character be able to die? I am just worried i might get too attached to my character, and be heartbroken if they do die.

Yep, she is. And don't worry, your characters can fight back! It's just that Twisted can be killed, but Unnatural can't. You can distract and temporarily hurt them, though! Also, there'll be more Twisted than Unnatural, if that helps! :D

Also, I'll allow the characters plenty of chances to interact and have fun with each other! I'm also not planning on killing anyone's character. As long as your character doesn't do anything stupid, we'll be good. :)

If i'm playing either character i was thinking a bard or mage. I assume our characters are not safe from being killed. What is the sort of end game for the rp?

Cool! And no, they aren't safe. Also, the end game is facing the leader of the Unnatural, and banishing them and all of the other Unnatural out of Never After(the world you guys are all in; used to be called "Ever After", but the name got changed shortly after the Unnatural invaded the world), since you can't kill the Unnatural.

I’m wanting something magical, but how is a Barbie doll going to use magic?

The Plot:

You wake up in a fairy tale world, but something is very wrong.

A thick fog is always in the air, always obscuring the sun and covering the land in an almost tangible darkness. Gruesome, dangerous monsters and beasts roam every area, some humanoid, some not, but all having some previous connections or ties to humanity. Some places have been burnt to the ground so badly that the ground's only made of ash and all the buildings are in various stages of melting, and others aren't there at all, with blank, white voids in place of where they originally were…with eldritch horrors using said voids to crawl into this fairy tale world from the abyss.

As you explore this corrupted world and try not to get killed in the process, you meet other living toys(which is what you are as well, probably), and learn to cooperate with each other. With the help of some journals that offer comprehensive guides on how to defeat the Twisted(the dangerous monsters and beasts) and avoid the Unnatural(the eldritch horrors), with all of said journals being penned by a woman named Miss Rose, there might be some hope in getting out of the forest they’re in yet…

If you all don’t either get killed or turn into Twisted or Unnatural, that is.

More Info:

• Toys usually come in pairs, and their color schemes usually match each other's.
• You can be other toys than a plushie. Marionettes/Puppets, dolls, yarn dolls, etc. are all welcome! :D
• Twisted can be killed(even though it's kinda hard to do it), but Unnatural can't.
• We're using the D&D classes(Barbarian, Warlock, Rogue) for the toys' combat roles/how they fight.
