Seraphina had grabbed a plate as well, stacked with waffles & bacon. "Oh, I really do enjoy camp. Its so nice here. I feel at ease and safe. Not having to worry about what might lurk around the corner is reassuring." The demigod felt more serine here than out in the world. Remembering how odd things would happen to her & she'd need to switch schools suddenly with out any warning. It always confused her so much, now she understood what was truthfully going on each time. "The lake is probably my favorite thing to enjoy besides the Pegasus rides I sometimes take." Sera just really liked swimming, plus being able to breath underwater was helpful for when she really just wanted some quiet time. Even if sometimes fishes bothered her it was better than the loudness that'd be happening in camp due to the number of people around.

"I was rather scared when I first tried to ride one of the pegasus' since I didn't know what to expect with the whole flying horse stuff. After a couple tries I got used to it. Not so spooked by it like I was." Giggling softly with a tiny smile on her lips. "Oh plus having the horses talking to me was....an odd experience." Aquatic creatures speaking to her was one thing. Having equestrian beasts speaking to her was a whole other subject. Learning that horses where made out of seafoam, it made more sense as to why Poseidon's kids could speak to that animal as well.

"Sure, I dont mind doing some training together or something else even." Sera gave her a nod while smiling slightly. Heading out of the cabin as well once shes finished up getting ready. The demigod was already thinking about syrup covered chocolate chip waffles and fruit with powdered sugar on top. Hopefully there would be plenty of waffles and fruits to eat till she was stuffed full. That train of thought got interrupted from the shouting in one of the cabins. "Jeez...Hedge sure does get serious about his cabin checks. Hope I never get caught in another cabin by him in the morning." Giggling softly as she continues off to the dining pavilion.

Seraphina woke upon the knocking, an annoyed groan since she was in a deep sleep, yawning as she sat up in bed. "Mmorning..." She stretches out. It usually took her a moment to wake up so when Kiera spoke again she blinked before responding. "Hmn? Yeah I was sleeping rather well actually." The young demigod gets out of bed, being careful not to trip on her blankets which normally happens about twice a week, sometimes more. "I'd go back to sleep but rather not miss out on a nice summer day. Now I just have to decide what to do after breakfast." She grabbed her hairbrush and ran it through her hair before putting it into low pigtails. "I've been getting better with sword fighting, everyone really puts up a good fight during training. Of course Im just glad I got my shield to counter anything that comes my way."

"I think once maybe when I was younger. My mom would rarely take me on any of her travels when she had to go to out on business for her job. I'd just stay with other family members. I'm sure she wanted to keep me out of harms way." Sera was following close being Kiera. not wanting to get lost at all. The building was so tall, she could believe that Olympus was high above them with how obscure the Empire State Building was. "Wow.... No wonder people come here and get pictures of this place. What a sight to see." She glances over at the taxi that had just stopped nearby. Being a bit on guard just in case it was a monster in disguise, now Sera really was trying to keep focus on her surroundings more now that she knew what was to come.

The timing of the train coming was a blessing, Sera really didn't want to have to face off against the mysterious stranger. Yet she was sure the suspicious person or whatever it truly was would return again. "Yeah, good thing you saw that bottle of water. Who knows what we'd be dealing with if you hadn't. I couldn't tell what was trying to come for us...but I could tell it wasn't going to be a friendly encounter." Taking the next empty chair she could before anyone else was able to. Her heart was still beating a bit quickly from the rush of running and being a bit scared. "Hopefully the rest of the journey to camp will be simple." She didnt want to jinx them too much, saying easy would probably make things super difficult. Saying the word 'simple', well, if they got into a fight maybe it'd be a simple fight and nothing crazy.

"Oh thank you." Taking the money from her, buying a ticket that would be for the same subway that Kiera would also be taking. She walked right behind, not wanting to become lost in the sea of people as they sat to wait. Hopefully it'd be coming sooner than later. The feeling of eyes made her skin crawl. Slowly taking a glance towards the direction of the person. Only getting a quick glimpse. "I um...think someone is watching us." The girl really hoped that wasn't the case. Yet how many people just suddenly disappeared out of the blue like that?

"Lets do the subway since its the fastest way there. Plus I'd rather not get stuck in a car with a monster. Seems like it'd be super difficult to fight one in a taxi." Sera rather have more room to fight if any monsters did come at them. Even if a subway cart wasn't huge it'd be far easier to battle in if it wasn't packed with people. Hopefully they wouldn't need to deal with any creatures coming after them while they where underground or if they did it'd be just one. She follows Kiera down to the station on Fulton Street. "Hopefully its not super busy and we can get tickets quick. Its been a while since I've gone on a subway train." When had been the last time? Maybe when she was really young and traveling with her mother. Other than that usually she did buses or cars.

Sera nodded towards her as they headed away from the pier. Looking around at the city around them, how it was just so busy even at a time like this, as they tried to find out what street they where on. "Oh theres a sign over there." She pointed upwards towards a pole that would have traffic lights attached to it. Showing off the two roads that crossed together. The signs were large but white against green always was hard to read from far away or if light glared over the letters. "I can't see it from here, maybe you can? Unless we need to get closer to it then lets do that." The young girl suggested but hoped maybe Kiera could read it from the spot they where standing at.

"Right, lets go then." Sera agreed, helping her sibling pick up the bags she'd dropped. "Do we need to hail a taxi or something to get to camp?" Probably would be the fastest way to get there since she had no clue how far away Camp Half Blood was from their location. Plus lugging their stuff while walking would not be enjoyable at all. She really hoped to just get in a car and be driven to where they needed to be. Really the demigod couldn't wait to see camp, wondering how the place would look, she'd been camping before but that was tents or in an RV.

Sera held a bag in her hands, she looked rather shocked when seeing Leda in the Iris message. Someone who was dead now...living? How in the world was it possible. She saw Leda was dead, killed in that cave, no longer breathing. This was like a weird plot twist in a soap opera when the lead dies in a mysterious way but suddenly appears again just fine!

Leda said she was dead from what Sera could hear. It still was confusing. "Doors of Death? Sounds like a resurrection stone hmn...." She murmured and rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry didn't mean to butt in, just....weird that theres a door that can bring you to life again." If that was a thing, cool! Kiera would get to have her girlfriend by her side again and no more heartache.
