Experiencing that feeling when absolutely no game is satisfying to play and all you do is watch videos on youtube and streams on twitch -.- I feel so unproductive.

Revising the wonders of a horribly inefficient murderer with a horribly inefficient weapon.
Hello, hello! Fresh recruit here! Just wrapped up the first draft of my character.
Name: Aeden Demavend Age: 39 Bloodline: Pure Seraphim
Appearance: Aeden’s eyes are a stunning electric blue and a halo of the same color. His black hair only serves to accent the attention grabbing factor of those two features. He bears scars up and down his wrists from a failed suicide as well as all over his body from Therosi rituals. In spite of his scars and his physique his skin retains a very healthy appearance likely due to his bloodline. He has feathered ethereal wings that are the same color as his eyes and halo.
Group: Member of the Aion and Former Slave of the Therosi
Physique: Having been kept as a vessel for many Therosi blood rituals for the first half of his life Aeden’s phsyical development is somewhat stunted. He stands shorter than average with a lean build.
Extraordinary Pain Tolerance: Many of the rituals Aeden suffered through were agonizing. Due to the rarity of his bloodline the blood ritualists were incentivised to keep him alive, however that did little to reduce the often grand cruelty they put him through. Eventually he became so used to pain that only the worst of wounds or the proper amount of blood loss will slow him down.
Divine Grace: Some are blessed with strength, and some wisdom. Aeden has an almost unnatural grace to his movements. While this certainly aids his ability to avoid being struck by your average soldier the greatest strength of this ability is that it allows for ease of movement in even the most difficult terrain and it allows for him to maintain a light step granting him a good advantage with the stealthy approach.
Divine Sight: Aeden’s eyes allow him to see magical effects that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye. He cannot be blinded magically, and can see magically obscured objects, although with enough magic covering the object he may not have a clear view of whatever object he can see.
Bad Juju: Having suffered at the hands of Blood Ritualists and their spells Aeden is able to instantly recognize blood magic in almost all of its forms except those that require an entire life. He can also recognize any object used specifically for such rituals and their purpose.
Blessed Spear: Aeden can conjure a spear of divine energy that he can use as a weapon that acts normally against most foes and is super effective against undead and Chaos-born monsters. He can throw said spear, but it will not maintain a solid and harmful form for more than thirty paces away from him. As an extra benefit it can be used as a torch.
Cure Wounds: Awakened upon his one and only attempted suicide, Aeden’s desire to live proved to be stronger than his wish to die. So long as he focuses his ability on one person he can quickly heal wounds with more severe injuries taking longer than minor wounds. Unfortunately, he could not hide this ability from the slavers and they took advantage of it to bleed him more aggressively than ever before. Minor at first, after his rescue the Aion trained him the best they could to get it to a proper cure spell.
Protection From Chaos: As a member of the Aion, Aeden has learned how to cast a ward that protects a person or object from the effects and minions of Chaos. The protection is not perfect, however it prevents mental manipulation, protects from most Chaos spells by either reducing their effect or stopping them completely depending on their power, and it prevents physical bodily contact from the minions and monsters of Chaos. The spell lasts for an hour, but if worn down enough the effect can end sooner.
Nyph the Pseudodragon
Nyph is a trickster with good intentions that Aeden rescued from a slaver early on in his time with the Aion. The pseudodragon made the decision to adopt the young Seraphim and stick around to provide a cheerful companionship as well as a helpful friend. Nyph is about the size of a small dog which is quite standard for a pseudodragon. He is equipped with a stinger that can put a target to sleep, and can camouflage with natural and some simple constructed terrain. Even though he is a dragon other dragons look down on him due to being a pseudodragon and view him a less than a dragon.
Experience: Aeden’s time as a slave tempered his ability to survive in the worst of conditions. His very drive to live grew even stronger after his attempted suicide as he manifested through sheer will what would eventually be his Cure Wounds spell. At the time his Cure Wounds was more of a close minor wounds that he manifested through sheer will. When he saved himself from his suicide attempt he barely survived, and the Therosi noticed putting him through harsher rituals to push him to the limit.
Aion rescued Aeden when he was 21 years old. Over the next 18 years he trained his Cure Wounds to an average level, and he learned how to use Divine Spear up to an amateur level. The spell is extraordinarily difficult, but his bloodline does make it possible for him to manifest elemental energy into the divine. He knows it could potentially summon pure divine energy in the form of a spear, however he has only scratched the surface of what he could do with it. From what he knows about how the spell works if trained to a high enough tier he could create and project multiple spears at a farther distance with greater power, however it is a much harder spell than most to train and master.
Aeden worked as a part of Aion's rescue team and with his affinity for learning magic he was encouraged to learn Protection from Chaos. He became quite competent in its use over time and used it to protect the lives of his squad.
All of Aeden’s combat training is through the Aion, and while he is a capable fighter he is technically nothing special. He gained some attention for his ability to push through the pain of training.
Motivation: To rise up in the world and become so powerful that those that would cause him suffering or cost him his freedom would have to think thrice before making a move on him. He also wishes to rescue any of the mixed-blood children he sired to train them to be strong as well.
Birthplace: Aeden was born in Vrondi in an isolated home in the jungles, however Therosi agents kidnapped him and killed his parents because they couldn’t capture them alive and brought him to Nero.
Equipment:
Aion Knight Armor-
Protects against most basic sharp blades and arrows with a Divine enchantment that adds a layer of protection even on the fabric and jewels.
Full Leg Armour-
Steel armor.
Aion shield-
A steel shield enchanted with divine protection which protects against chaotic spells and grants the wielder greater protection from curses and diseases. It can defend against most heavy steel blade attacks without a scratch due to this layer of protection. It also remains neutral in temperature at all times under this protection.
Aion sword-
Divine steel. Made from conjuring steel from a divine realm. It has a blue glow in the dark and is impervious to chaotic destruction. It is sharper than normal steel, able to cut steel on its own with enough force. But this blade is quick to chip. The sheathe fixes the blade over time with a divine enchantment.
Mirror's Potion- A blue elixir that freezes the one who drinks it in a coating of ice until their wounds are entirely healed.
Extra Info:
Aeden has very little commitment to the Aion. He fully appreciates their cause and how they have helped him, however he doesn’t really feel it is his cause. He has given them time and effort to their cause almost equivalent to his entire life, and he feels that he will soon need to move on from them. This opinion has only developed within the last year.
Aeden has very high standards for others, but especially for himself.
In spite of his feeling about Aion’s cause, Aeden has a huge amount of respect for Mirror.
I applaud your persistence with bumping this OOC. I am thinking about making a pure Nayu that acts as a spy or information broker (or at least has aspirations to build a network to become a broker). Although I am also considering a pure Seraphim because why not do what seems to be through lore hard-mode?
Even if I don't go with either of those I'm definitely interested and will be doing myself some homework with this RP
EDIT: I have decided to go with a pure Seraphim because inspiration has hit!
Oh wow! I hope for a smooth recovery @WittyReference! I can't imagine how that experience must be for you. At least you have a good bit of humor about it and became our local zombie.
Haha! Surprise! I've had plenty of RPs I've DMed that have had NPCs that suddenly became more than expected. I had to be quicker on my feet with them though due to them being D&D games in my basement at least here you get some time to think about it. You get heroes from the smallest of beginnings. :D
I think Anise had been developing feelings for him for a while. It just made sense. By the way... this is the first character I've ever made that has fallen for an NPC on this site! There's a milestone for you.
I am seriously going to be sad when we wrap this up, even so I can't wait to see how this turns out!
Peck stared up at her from the ground -- where he'd fallen, skittering, upon the appearance of a bright light at his side. With a huff of relief, he relaxed, dropped backward on the ground. "Ya don't got to be so dramatic," he reminded her with a small grin. "I was the one gonna save ya." He laid a hand over his pounding chest, quieted his nerves.
Anise smiled and giggled. Perhaps the first time she felt any sense of real joy in this world. All the other moments of it were likely only that of relief more than anything else. Before she could comment with gratitude and her own lighthearted humor the Dragon's roar ripped through the Forest. The large motions of the Dragon could be hear as she continued to rampage crying out in fury.
Peck then started to react as if he had something crawling up his leg. Before long he started to drain of his energy. His life. Anise stared in horror only for so long before she acted. She embraced Peck and called the Light to her. She called for the rejuvenating power of Water to join with it. "Peck. My dear, Peck, you are the one that saved me. Time and time again. Now I shall return the favor, my beloved Knight."
Her powers combined as she kissed Peck right on the lips. Her desire to protect him from the evil draining his life away rushed through her as her heart pounded. Light to protect. Water to rejuvenate. She could remember a time where she could not imagine kissing anyone except for her fiance. A prince from a far away land that she had never seen. She could remember a world in a time of peace where the battlefield was courts and politics. She felt like she had been far away from that place for a long time now even though it had hardly been a week. Now she controlled a power that could only be found in fairy tales and carried a responsibility even greater than that of Princess of Riverforde.
She could save not only a world, but several others as well. She vividly remembered the story of the dreams given to her by the Dragon. The desperately reaching out into other worlds to draw power from them and heroes in the desperate hope to find the right savior. Anise could understand that desperation. While she lived a sheltered life away from the common folk she remembered several instances of her father stressing over the burden of such responsibility. Of ruling a kingdom. He had an excellent team of advisers to help him divide an conquer the challenges before him. For them to betray him like the Spirits betrayed the Dragon, Anise could imagine just how desperate one could be.
Except the Spirits were more than just advisers. They were her children.
As Anise pulled away from Peck the Dragon cried out once more.
GIVE ME .... MY CHILDREN
Anise looked at Peck with a sad smile. "It looks like this is the final stretch. I promise I will do everything to be the savior we all need. The first thing I need to do is heal a mother in pain. I love you, Peck."
Anise turned to face the Dragon and like just before she called to the Light to bring her to the Dragon. She gripped the Sun Sword tightly ready to use it to channel her Light and the power of her own Sun to cleanse the Dragon's body of the Lord of Shadow's corruption. With it she would also use the healing power of Water to repair what she could. Even if this was the last thing she did, Anise would do everything in her power to honor the Lady of Light and save this world and all others connected to it.
I just realized only like a week has passed in game time... We've been playing this RP for YEARS! O.o That is a hard thing to imagine. Incredible too. This is quite the epic project we have created here!
EDIT: Also you've forced my hand @Mokley! I now call in force the Power of Love trope!
