Hey no problem! I honestly don't mind slowler posts/shorter posts because I totally understand a busy life!

Also, thanks for the background that was actually very helpful :)

Of course! No rush, I am more of inclined to slower roleplays anyways, vs ones where I have to post multiple times a day, everyday. So anyway, take your time (:
Lisette wasn’t paying too much attention to the words that came out of Mila’s mouth while she egged her on. “I think I might just let you try it.” She found herself saying, almost lazily as she tilted her neck down towards Mila’s parted lips. If she had a heartbeat, it would most certainly be thudding noisily at this moment as she anticipated the bite. Her skin prickled with a mixture of excitement and a bit of fear, not that she would ever admit to the latter. She was far too proud to do that, even if she could recognize the unfamiliar emotion. She was usually the one inducing the heart pounding fear and excitement and it felt so wrong to be on the other side of the deal. So wrong, yet still so thrilling.

“Oh really?”

A smile grew across Lisette’s lips which were still gently pressed on her companions neck. Her teeth had grown sharp and they dug gently into the touch flesh of the other woman’s neck. “Careful, you might just like it too much.” Chuckling softly, Lisette murmured against Mila’s skin; “I like everything too much, love, it’s part of my charm.” She was still sinisterly laughing as she righted her head and stared down into Mila’s darkened eyes. “Let’s see what you’ve got.” Her purring, inviting voice was hushed in the darkened room with only a stream of morning light pooling in through a crack in the dusty, old curtains.

She stayed uncharacteristically silent as Mila’s neck slowly craned upwards until her lips met Lisette’s throat. There was nothing gentle or soft about it as the older vampire delved into the act with dangerous accuracy. Her sharp canines pressing into Lisette, making her gasp aloud for just a second before sinking into the bite. It was exhilarating and Lisette leaned closer to the older woman as she anomalistically tore at her throat. Moments of sharp pain interrupted the pleasure, making her jerk slightly before moaning and falling back into the ecstasy of the bite. No wonder they like this so much. She jerked and sighed, groaned and moaned all in unison of the vicious monster beneath her. But at that moment, Lisette realized that there was absolutely nothing monstrous about it. How could anything that felt so wonderful be so cruel? It was in truth almost as good as being on the other end.

Lisette gasped aloud just a bit when she felt herself being flipped involuntarily onto her back. In any normal circumstance this would have ended with Mila on the other side of the room, perhaps pinned to a wall with Lisette’s hands wrapped tightly around her marble neck. However this time she stayed put and compliantly let Mila flip her over and continue suckling her neck. She hardly noticed the headboard hitting against the wall, probably leaving an indent in the plaster. There was no thoughts that maybe they had neighbours, ones who would complain to the downstairs office. She didn’t think of the chance that perhaps they could be caught in this act of intimacy. No, none of that crossed her mind at all when Mila’s guttural voice broke the heavy silence that covered the two like a blanket.

”I could tear your throat wide open.”

Yes, yes she really could. And that thought was absolutely terrifying. Enough to make Lisette jerk away from yet another painstakingly wonderful bite from Mila. “That you could...” Her own voice was broken as she gently stiffened beneath Mila. She could feel the wounds healing quickly enough, soon there would hardly be a scratch to indicate any sort of injuries that she may have sustained. “But you wouldn’t want to kill me now would you?” She flashed a devilish smile. “I’m too cute.”

She watched hunger flicker through her companions eyes as she teased her gently. ”This whet’s my appetite.” Mila’s voice sounded more and more animal as she leaned in for yet another bite, causing Lisette to stiffen yet pull closer at the same time. Maybe there was something in the danger of having her life in someones hands that made her so inclined to this newfound activity. Yet just as the sharp teeth were about to pierce her skin once again a sharp knock caused both women to jolt and immediately looked towards the wooden door. The housekeepers voice, sounding despondent, wafting towards their acute ears and Mila’s response sent the woman, heavy set by the sound of her footsteps, hobbling away. Lisette took this moment to pull away from Mila, despite the pleasure that came with the bite, she too was starting to feel a bit peckish.

“I’ve got to eat again soon.”

Nodding Lisette rolled off the bed and hopped agilely onto her feet, catlike in her ease. “Was I not enough darling? I’m offended!” Her hands immediately went to her bosom and she pressed against where her un-beating heart. “Well if you must then I suppose we can get a bite to eat. Maybe our next door neighbour will be able to help us find a nice place to dine.” Her childish giggle rang through the air.

“Get dressed now and we can go see.”
She wanted to fall asleep, to sleep and sleep and sleep for days upon days and forget about all the problems that had so casually stepped into her mundane, boring life. She wanted to go home, although home brought back many unhappy memories that just reinforced the fact that she was no longer the gloomy, aspiring musician with a boring day job and a crumbling social life. Maybe home to her parents was a good idea after all. But how would they take it, their long lost gay daughter coming back into their home begging and pleading with them to forgive her. Charlie shuddered at the thought. No, she would have to ride this out on her own. Perhaps it would just go away, if she stayed in the shadows for a while, didn’t do anything to draw attention to herself. Booker and Lisette would get bored with her and move onto better things, and Mila...

Charlie flopped down onto the old, dusty mattress and sighed. Mila. Why was it that she was so infatuated with this thing. She wasn’t even human, she was a monster. Yet the thought of never seeing those beguiling eyes ever again made Char more sad then anything ever had. She had never been the one to believe in the whole “love at first sight” bullshit. However, this wasn’t normal. With her hands buried in her face, Charlie groaned loudly. She didn’t want any of this.

A thud against the wall made her startle from her pity party. Her head whipped up and she glanced around, butterflies in her stomach. This was how it would be for the rest of her life, she realized. Flinching at every noise, always with the fear that something, or someone, was out to get her. Her hands fisted as stray tears leaked from the corners of her eyes. Hot, angry tears because that couldn’t be fair. She was a good person, she deserved to have good things. Didn’t she? Another thud followed by muffled voices and some moans made Char realize that whatever was happening in the other room had nothing to do with her. Her face heated and she considered banging against the wall and telling her noisy neighbours to quiet down. However instead she decided to lay quietly and pull a pillow over her head. She was tired and a good nap would have been nice at that point.

Her body still ached from the beating and the aftermath of Booker’s bite. He would realize she was gone soon enough, and what would happen then? She would be easy enough to find. This was the closet motel to wherever he had taken her, and he was a skilled tracker. She figured she had at most until nightfall until he found her, if not before. And maybe that was the case, maybe he would bang down that door and take her by the arm. Drain her right on the spot and she wouldn’t resist, because by that point she would be too tired, too despondent to care about whether she lived or died. But maybe it wouldn’t be so cruel. Perhaps Booker would knock casually on the door. Three sharp raps, just like the ones against her door right then.

It took her a moment to realize that those three knocks weren’t from her mind and there was someone actually knocking on the door. She stayed quiet for a moment, her heart beating in her chest. “Could you come back later?” Finally she willed herself to speak, hoping that it was just the maids hoping to clean her room. After a moment she heard some muffled voices and another sharp rap against the door.

Not the maids.
Slowly, fearfully, she made her way towards the heavy door and peered out the eyehole. Her heart stopped in her chest, her eyes watered immediately. She recognized that dark skinned woman who leered gleefully up at the peek hole. She knew that Charlie was there, and her teeth sharpened just a tad. “Oh no...” She murmured out of instinct. “Oh god no...”
They knew that sweet, sugary voice. And as soon as the words “Could you come back later” wafted towards the two women’s ears Lisette grinned. “You have got to be kidding me...” Lisette laughed gleefully looking back at Mila and then towards again. “You have got to be kidding me.” She knocked again, sharper this time and with more enjoyment. She could hear the girls catlike footsteps and her heavy breaths as she leaned to look into the peek hole.

“Seems to me that we have found our little friend.” She didn’t look back at Mila when she addressed her, and instead grasped the handle in her hand and turned the knob quickly. It broke beneath her force and the door swung open, causing the human girl to scuttle back. “Hello Charlotte.”

Through her hazy, mid afternoon day dreams, with the prickly grass digging into the exposed flesh on her arms and legs, Elspeth could see something. At first sight she thought the shadow in the sky was some sort of bird, the type that would often pick up small animals or children when no one was paying attention. However as the shadow grew closer and closer becoming less of a shadow and more of a firm shape she realized that this wasn’t as simple as a bird or some other air faring animal. Abruptly the young girl sat upright, her eyes widening in shock and interest as the shape, this human shape, plummeted faster and faster towards the grassy field.

The body hit the ground with an audible thud, making Ellie scramble back a bit. The shock in her eyes faded to a dim wonder as this mysterious girl from the heavens lay in the grass. For just a second Elspeth feared that she may be dead, or seriously injured and the young girl went to stand and perhaps try to help. But just as she took to her feet the pile of skin and clothes began to stir. The angel, for there was no other explanation in Elspeth mind, this woman must be heaven sent, appeared shocked herself as she gazed down at her body. She didn’t look like any person Elspeth had ever seen in her life. She wore no skirts, her hair was cut oddly and not worn in any fashion Ellie would have ever thought “appropriate”.

She wasn’t sure about what to do now, not with some oddly clothed stranger standing just a little ways away glaring at her with what Ellie assumed must have been mirrored in her own eyes. Mute curiosity and horror. Part of her just wanted to turn and flee, grab her basket and make her hasty way back to the house, safe with her Mother and Father and the boys. Yet, at the same time there was another part of her that was curious... and that part of her was much stronger then the fading fear deep in her gut.

She blinked several times as her foot took an involuntary step forward. Her lips quivered slightly with unsure words. What did you say to a person whom you just watched fall from the sky? Hello? Good day to you?

“Are you an angel?”
Alexander shoved the crumpled paper in his pocket, and finally resumed maneuvering his way through the crowd. The population became much more dense as the morning went on and as he moved against the heavy wave of people, his mind wandered to how he may achieve this impossible task of finding this mysterious object that held such great value. It seemed so grande in his mind, almost exhausting, but he wanted more then anything to win back that throne, and no task was too tall for such a want.

He wove through the crowd, jostled a bit by the many bodies swimming like salmon through the streams. The small huts were lined with different goods and the merchants called out different beguiling statements to attract the attention of their costumers. On a normal day, Alexander would have been perfectly content to meander casually with the crowd, stopping ever so often to sample some food or look at some jewelry. However today he felt rushed.

His heart pounded in his ear and all he wanted was to be out of the crowd and somewhere quiet, where he could be alone with his thoughts and try and come up with some sort of starting point for this wild goose chase he was about to set himself on. And when he finally burst through the crowd he was grateful. The claustrophobia lifted and he was finally able to breath. “Now onto the hard stuff.” He muttered to himself. Yes, onto the hard stuff indeed.

So! I actually do have a question now that I didn't think of before! Do you wanna tell me about the era that this is set in? Like I know it's future and past but what is this future like? Just curious so that I can make my posts more accurate in the future.

That's totally fine! I will have a post up tonight after I get back from my dance class. Also, sorry I didn't get a response up yesterday. I was going to after I was done with my homework but then stuff came up. I suppose I should have warned you before that sometimes I won't get on as much because of other obligations.

It had been a while since Alexander had let himself think about home. The grandeur hallways, tall ceilings, gold crested pillars, windows and sculptures. His mysterious father, locked behind a large wooden door and his beautiful, loving mother. His hands tightened around the sheet of paper he held as emotion welled into his eyes, making them blur with tears. He blinked repeatedly, turning his face downwards so that the several townsfolk who were meandering around wouldn’t see the salty liquid. No, he hadn’t thought of home in a long while, but this paper depicted a portrait of his father, older then Alexander remembered him, and it brought back all the memories that he fought to keep buried.

However, it wasn't so much the picture that interested him... not after a minute. No, it was the words, printed meticulously to prove their point. It told of the king's illness, not that that was news to anyone. It had been one of the main gossips for several weeks now and, like most people, Alexander assumed that his murderous uncle would be the one to take the throne once the King died. Yet this paper spoke differently. The young man stood still as stone amongst the few townsfolk who had chosen to grace the mediocre market place with their presence. His luminescent green eyes were wide and a gleam, almost malicious in it’s ecstasy, made them that much more beguiling.

As his eyes quickly scanned the words that explained of the challenge a plan grew in his mind. This was his chance, to win back the throne and bring justice on the man who had taken from him his beloved mother. Alexander fisted his hand and the paper crumpled. The words becoming wrinkled, yet not any less significant in their meaning. He had to start right away.... he had to find this mysterious Thief of time Time.
“Elspeth!”

The name rang through the small farmyard, causing one lazing old mutt to lift it’s heavy head from it’s paws and wail at the speaker.

“Elspeth MacPhee, where are you girl!?” The speaker in question was a woman, she held an old woven basket on her hip. Beads of sweat trickled down her sour face as her eyes scanned the yard for the young girl who bounded out from behind the chicken coop. Ellie’s dress was disheveled and an elated grin was stuck on her plump lips. There was no mistaking her youth as her agile legs carried her towards her scowling mother. “Oh, Momma! You wouldn’t believe what I-”

“Where have you been?” The sharp, accusing tone and birdlike eyes stopped Ellie in her tracks. The words she had been about to say fell dead on her lips and the smile faltered. “I have been slaving away with the chores all day with you nowhere to be found! Explain yourself...” It took a few moments for El to gather the words to explain how she had found a beautiful clearing in the back woods, about the little stream where she had skipped rocks and the wonderful nap she had taken amongst the trees. “I-I’m sorry, Momma.. I-” She was cut off once again as the basket was thrust into her hands causing her to stumble backwards. “Never mind, just get to work. I need vegetables from the garden.” The aging woman left her stunned child staring blankly at the old wooden door and still swaying with the basket.

It took her a few moments to will away the tears that jumped, understandably, to her eyes. As soon as she composed herself, Ellie made her way to the garden which was set in the large field in her backyard. The place was overgrown with weeds, but still a few of the crops survived and all that was needed was some serious digging around. Soon enough, Ellie had almost completely forgotten about her mother’s outburst as she hummed and danced, picking carrots, potatoes and beans. The basket was nearly full by the time she was finished and an accomplished smirk danced across her pretty lips. “There we are! Now that wasn’t so bad...” She hummed again, hands on her hips as her eyes roamed the beautiful blue skies with the puffy blue clouds. If only she could escape these god awful duties and live an exciting life, a life of adventure, romance, beauty. A life where she was more then just some farmer’s daughter.

She wasn’t sure how it happened exactly but somehow Ellie ended up lying on her back in the field, her already rumpled dress now grass stained as she stared up at the clouds and let her mind take her on a fabulous adventure somewhere very far from there...

Ooh, great post!! I was gonna write one now, but I still have a bunch of homework and sleep is probably a good idea eventually. Ahah. Anyways, I will get a post up sometime before 6 atlantic standard time!

Young Maiden
Elspeth "Ellie" MacPhee

Elspeth was the beautiful daughter of a farmer and his wife in a run of the mill farm in a run of the mill town. Not much was there in the way of fun, not as young Ellie would see it. She was forced to spend her days helping around the house with her mother, fetching groceries in the market and courting obnoxious young men whom she had absolutely no interest in. It was maddening to a girl with such fanciful dreams as she. But she wasn't even aloud to go play in the fields with her younger brothers let alone bound off on the wonderful adventures she imagined in her head. One day she dreamt of being free from the bounds that she was ensnared in and live her own life away from the farm and the obligations that may have suited another just find but made her cringe at the thought.
And she would get this chance, on a day when she had slipped silently from her chores and into the large field that was her backyard she would see a girl. This girl wasn't any normal girl, oh no, she was what Ellie could only assume was an angel from heaven... For she fell from the sky. Little did this beautiful, naive, yet brilliant young maid know that her life was about to take a turn. Adventure awaited her. Finally.

The Prince
Alexander Delaware

Alexander grew up a noble life, the kind people often only dream of. His father being the kind of The Westlands gave the young prince enough lenience to get away with rebellious actions... eventually giving the young man a bit of a reputation. His childhood, though fanciful, was what bred these misbehaviours. Being the son of the kind meant coming second to many of the duties such a title came with. But a boy needs his father and poor Alexander received next to none of his father's attention. So, he turned to his mother. Beautiful and young, the apple to the young princes eye right up until the day he watched her viscously murdered by her own brother. Worst yet, at the trial it was Alexander on the stand with his vile uncle sneering up at him. His reputation did little to help his case and the handsome, yet devilish prince was deemed guilty. Luckily enough his charm had won over the Westlands enough to grant him the lenience of exile instead of execution.
Years later, Alexander has grown into a dashing man. Working hard as a woodsman in a small, desolate town just outside of his real home. For years the anger had brewed deep within him and when word of the challenge reached his ears, Alexander knew it was his chance. Finally, he could redeem himself and bring justice... for his mother.
