I like Aether. I'll take it! Thanks for the interest. Just a few more interested parties and I'll go ahead and unveil the full project.
I made one more character who will act more or less as a support and plot development for my main character. He may be overpowered, but he is mostly there for the intrigue, and he may not even fight. Let me know if this is too much, but again, I really doubt I'm going to put him through very much, if any, combat.

Virgil Noctis

.:. Male || 25 || 5'11" || 160lbs .:.

Name: Virgil Sin
Gender: Male
Age: Physically, 25, true age has been forgotten
Race: Fallen Archangel
Orientation: Heterosexual
Personality:
Insouciant on the surface, but virtuous at heart, Virgil has descended to earth to escape his strict responsibility as an archangel and enjoy the finer things in the mortal realm. He maintains a low profile and rarely talks about himself. Virgil treats most beings with disdain due to his previous position as an archangel, but he is quite conniving and often finds himself indulging in the affairs of others. He does not take himself seriously and has spent the last millennium assuming different personas. Only one being in the world is currently aware of what he truly is, and all others assume that he is human.

Virgil is naturally gentle and prefers to avoid violence, but he does not hesitate to deliver judgment on those who have done wrong. He disguises his true power and identity with his hedonistic lifestyle, constantly smoking cigarettes, drinking, and general mellowness. He also collects antiques and enjoys reading. Virgil tends to fall asleep during situations he finds boring. If there is combat going on around him and he is not any direct danger, he will take a nap, read a book, or even make snide comments here and there.
History:
Since his ‘fall’, Virgil has never mentioned anything about his past. When he fell, however, he lost most of his supernatural powers, and the only thing that remained was his eternal youth. He landed at the southernmost point of Zahr where he ate, drank, and slept lavishly for several years until the region of Zahr became too contaminated with radiation for any to live in. Before leaving, an Inscriptionist came to the decadent town Virgil had stayed in looking to set up a shop. Virgil and the Inscriptionist shared a common interest in human antiques and books, and the two spent some time together conversing about the “old world” . Iniitally the inscriptionist had wanted to sell Runes, but after seeing the Inscriptionist’s work, Virgil grew even more interested and convinced the Inscriptionist to be extremely selective over who he should give runes to.

Virgil then travelled around the world meddling in the affairs of nobles and causing tragedies for his own enjoyment. Whenever he would spark a tumultuous family affair, he would act as a mediator and often asked for odd items as payment - anything from a chalice to a book or set of books. He would often go for an antique he fancied first before anything else.

After collecting dozens of antiques, Virgil return to Zahr where he reunited with the Inscriptionist and offered him some of his collection, and recounted his experiences. Inspired by the stories Virgil had told him, the Inscriptionist promised to only offer Runes to those who could entertain him. Before Virgil left, the Inscriptionist gave virgil a Rune to allow him to call upon his angelic wings so he could visit more frequently and share his adventures. Virgil then continued to travel the world, collecting books, antiques, and fine liquor whilst meddling in human affairs. He continued to visit the Inscriptionist after each affair to share stories and antiquities, and the two became close friends

One day, Virgil began to have dreams from Heaven about the birth of another angel. He continued to have these dreams, and each night, the dreams became more intense. Along with these strange premonitions, his chest began to throb and ache until Virgil fell into a feverish state. For 280 days, he cycled between dreamlike trances and periods of paralyzing agony, and on the 281st day, he awoke with a rune on his chest, a rune on his right shoulder, and a sense of purpose in helping the angel in his dreams. Virgil returned to the inscriptionist and told him of his feverish spell and premonitions along with his true identity. After giving most of his worldly possessions to the Inscriptionist to keep for safe keeping, Virgil also instructed him to create the enso, and to bestow a twin rune to one who resembles his kind before bidding farewell.

Virgil now travels the world, and while he still indulges in toying with beings, he remains vigilant in his goal.
Runes:
Left Hand || Enso || Primarily dormant rune and can only be activated in conjunction with Ella’s Enso rune. The two combined have the power to create anything out of nothing, but can only be done so under extreme duress. Often mistaken as his physical attributes boost.

Back stretching out past each shoulder blade || Forsaken Grace || Gift from the inscriptionist. Allows Virgil to call upon his angelic wings to fly at such great speed that some mistake it for teleportation. This rune is only used for long distance travel and is practically useless in small places due to the size of hiw wings.

Across his chest from shoulder to shoulder || Penance || The rune he received after 280 day trial. It can be used to open The Gate of Babel, allowing him to open a gate to Heaven to transport his holy items. The rune itself is a more of a reminder of his mission.

Right Shoulder || Sefirah || The second rune he received after his 280 day trial. This grants him access to an initial 20% of his original power as an archangel, thereby allowing him to channel his holy energy for greater control over his abilities. Holy light radiates from his body, and can be felt by anyone nearby. When accessing the full amount granted to him, his halo can be seen. He must be granted access to increase the amount of holy energy, and this is done on a case by case basis. When granted full access, he is only permitted to use it for a minute.
Items:
~ A jug full of nothing but heavenly wine.
~ Several packs of cigarettes - one set is similar in the calming effects of tobacco but made specifically for holy beings, and another is for human consumption if people ask him for some.
~ A black coat with an inside pocket that is connected to a small dimension. The pocket is capable of holding just about anything, but Virgil just has his cigarettes, his jug, some books, and some money inside it. Sometimes carries antiques and special items depending on what persona he uses.
~ No Name Virgil's own personal sword, unnamed out of laziness. Strengthened by holy energy directly channeled from his Sefirah to the point that it is indestructible and can cut through any material in the mortal realm when he exudes all of his holy energy. Can only be drawn from the Gate of Babel. No other being can pick the blade up. Virgil can also teleport the blade from any location when it is in the mortal realm.
~ Angel Blade The standard sword for all angels. For all intents and purposes, the only difference from any mortal sword is that it is indestructible.
Transportation:
Virgil uses his flight to travel long distances in a flash. He normally uses this to traverse across long stretches of wasteland.
Skills:
+ Gospel of Angels A holy enchantment that grants him eternal youth and a body that can withstand any environment. After receiving Sefirah, the enchantment also relieves him of basic human needs, such as breathing, eating and sleeping, and he is fueled solely by holy energy. He eats and sleeps anyway, just to enjoy it.
+ Enlightenment of The Sacred Tree This skill negates all mental interference completely (ie, illusions, charm effects, etc), and reduces physical damage and increases regeneration relative to the amount of holy energy he is channeling.Minimum potential is 0 for defense, and regeneration can take an hour to a full day depending on the severity of the wound. Max potential is 50% reduction of physical damage and near instantaneous regeneration.
+ Expert Swordsman trained from the Heavens - an elegant dual wielding fighting style that requires extravagant movements but is quite deadly.
+ Angelic charm that affects all beings in varying degrees. He can use his charm at will.
+ Clairvoyance: uses a "sixth sense" allowing him to sense any target in a 4 mile radius, and increases his natural instincts.
Strengths:
+ Angelic strength, speed, agility, endurance and mental acuity. His full attribute potential when channeling all of his holy energy is ten times that of a human at peak physical potential, but when channeling only the minimum amount, his attributes are only twice as powerful as a human at peak physical condition.
+ Extremely high tolerance to mind-altering substances and poisons due to the Gospel of Angels. This includes alcohol.
+ High charisma and cunning to manipulate lesser beings.
+ Genius level intellect and eidetic memory.
Weaknesses:
- He is an alcoholic despite his extremely high tolerance. Drinks normal alcohol like it’s water, and consumes ten times the average human to feel the effects. (ie, a whole bottle of liquor just to get a buzz). However, since he gained the Gate of Babel, he drinks holy nectar, which is more potent to angelic beings and has an unrivaled taste.
- Despite his newfound sense of purpose, Virgil still gets distracted by material wants and only fights if it is deemed absolutely necessary (ie, his life or Ella's is in danger).
- Hardly ever taps into his holy energy, and when he does, only taps 10% of it. Does so as to not reveal his identity.
- Weak against dark and cursed powers/weapons. More demonic/weapons powers can drain him of his holy energy.
Likes:
+ Alcohol
+ Antiques
+ Books
+ Leisurely strolls at night
+ Conversing with Strangers
+ Naps
+ Toying with lesser beings
Dislikes:
- Pompous Individuals
- Alarm Clocks
- Being woken up prematurely
- Cheap Alcohol
Holy Energy:
~ Virgil initially channels 5% of his holy energy at all times. There is no noticeable change in his physical appearance, and it is virtually undetectable.
~ At 10%, Virgil's eyes glow a light blue and he radiates a holy aura around his body. The holy energy resembles that of a rune activation.
~ Beyond 10%, Virgil's holy aura grows and can be sensed at greater distances depending on how much he channels. At full potential, anyone within a 50 mile radius will notice it, and those closer will feel its pressure.
~ He can also transfer portions of his holy energy to other angelic beings.
~ Holy energy acts as a form of magic, but is separate in that it can only be channeled directly from Heaven and does not disperse into the earth once it is used.
Oh, I see. Well, I'll count you in as partially interested, then.
It's pretty dark, but I'm not sure about how similar it will be to Dark Souls. Your character starts off completely unaware that they can die, but each death does have its consequences.
Alright, we have one!!! Again, if you have any questions about the plot, I will answer to the best of my ability, and until I get at least six people who would be interested in doing this, I won't be revealing any more than the bare essentials.
Rock Killjoy, check your PMs.
Otherwise, Victoria Rose:

I wonder if Vilos and Ella would get along. Their abilities are somewhat similar, but Ella but her forte is with the sword. Their personalities are not going to mesh, that's for sure.
Elizabeth Daedalus

Dress

.:. Female || 24 || 5'6" || 110lbs .:.

Name: Elizabeth 'Ella' Daedalus
Gender: Female
Age: Physically, 24, but if you include her cryogenic period probably 1024.
Race: Nephilim but often mistaken as simply being human
Orientation: Bisexual
Personality:
Ella is a free spirit - willing to do everything but too afraid to commit to anything. She has a natural charm and an air of regality about her that allures all creatures, which she despises. She wishes to be respected for her skill rather than her beauty and often feels coddled due to her beauty. Despite this, Ella still uses her charm and façade to get what she wants, and takes on a different persona depending on the situation. She can be a maiden in distress, or a strong independent woman ready to face any challenge.

She doesn't know much about who she really is, other than the fact that she was locked in a sculpture for a whole millennia. She does not remember anything from before she awoke, and only knows that she must be something more than human and she spends her travels looking for clues as to what she is. Most, if not all creatures mistake her for simply being a human with powerful runes.
History:
When the first wormhole opened up, a four year old Ella was transported as a crystal sculpture cradling a sword. For nearly a millennia, her sculpture had been bought and sold by the wealthy until one day her crystal form melted away and she had awakened. The only thing Ella knew upon waking was her name, and the family that had owned her sculpture was so smitten with her beauty that they took her for their own. The Daedalus family was one of the first investors of the eco generators and are now one of the premier oxygen providers as oxygen tanks and masks, thus providing her with with the highest education money could buy - from art and science to self defense - in one of the most sheltered cities in the region. But Ella had a knack for adventure. At the age of sixteen, she ran away from home, taking a large sum of money and some treasures, including the sword she held when she was born to see the world. Shortly after leaving her home town, Ella was nearly kidnapped, raped, and tortured by a seemingly elegant man of questionable character. When the man was about to take advantage of Ella, a mercenary had shown up and killed her attacker.

For some time, she followed her savior, begging and pleading with him to teach her how to fight. After following him on a four day journey with very little food, water, and rest, the mercenary took her in as her pupil and taught her everything he knew. Their relationship grew to be more of a father-daughter relationship and at some point, and Ella began to help the old mercenary on his missions. During their travels Ella had rescued a dire wolf and nurtured it to health. The stag grew affectionate to her, and began to follow Ella. She affectionally named the stag Fenrir. Ella and the mercenary continued to travel far south to Zahr so that Ella could receive her first rune by the same inscriptionist who had given the mercenary his runes.

Upon reaching the radiation zone in Zahr at the inscriptionist's shop, the two spotted a band of thieves attempting to steal the inscriptionist's eco-generator of oxygen. Ella and the mercenary took on the thieves, but during the fight, the mercenary took a fatal wound to the chest. Ella took her pupil inside the inscriptionist's shop, who had witnessed the entire incident, and begged and pleaded the inscriptionist to help the man. In spite of Ella's efforts, the mercenary refused help and reminded the inscriptionist of their first encounter. Early in his life, the mercenary had requested a specific rune but the inscriptionist was so particular, he blatantly refused the mercenary and told him that the rune was not fit for him. The Inscriptionist added that the only way he would make the rune for the mercenary was if he offered his life to him. The inscriptionist thought for a moment, and had it not been for Ella's natural charm, the inscriptionist would have declined the offer.

Ella received three (one is a set) Runes that day - one to commemorate her tutor, one as her tutor's final gift. and the other as a peculiar present from the inscriptionist as a hint to her identity. Four years have passed since then and Ella still continues as a mercenary, constantly searching for clues about her identity.
Runes:
Right and left Hand - one on Each Finger || Memento Mori || Received to commemorate her tutor. Creates knives or bullets out of pure energy. The power of each knife and bullet is contingent upon the number of runes being used on each finger. If one is used, a bullet can knock an armored human down or create knife as thin as a long needle. Using five runes creates a lethal bullet and armor piercing knives, while using all ten runes creates lethal bullets and knives capable of piercing even the strongest armor. The energy bullets/knives will lose its corporeal form after five minutes or outside of a 75 yard range, but any bullet or knife created with five or more runes can only maintain its corporeal form for 10 seconds.
Each rune takes roughly five seconds to cool down and can only be cooled down one at a time, but the cool down starts as soon as the bullet or knife has been made. If Ella does not allow the rune to cool down, stigmata sets in.

Center of Chest || Enso || Final Gift from tutor. At its simplest usage, allows her to create basic visual and auditory illusions. When used to its full potential, she can actualize an illusion, but can only be used during extreme emotional, spiritual, or intellectual moments. The intricacy of the illusion is contingent on how many senses she tries to manipulate (beyond visual and auditory). Depending on its intricacy, the illusion can last anywhere from an hour to seconds before stigmata sets in.

Back on each shoulder blade || Icarus || Gift from the inscriptionist. Allows Ella the ability of high speed flight in brief bursts lasting up to a minute. Her flight acceleration decreases over time, and she mainly uses this for close range combat.
Items:
~ A simple suit with two holsters on each side of the waist to house both her revolvers.
~ The same dress (see link above) she wore when she first woke. The dress alters itself according to her physique. Despite its fragile appearance, the dress is made of holy material that acts as armor, increases her physical strength by 100%, but she rarely uses it due to it being too resplendent for missions. The sudden boost in power is often mistaken as a rune boost.
~ A tight body suit with a hood used to hide her identity during covert operations.
~ A ring that stores all of her clothing and allows her to change at a moment's notice.
~ A Daedalus brand travel pack with a detachable micro oxygen tank that can carry up to a week's worth of oxygen. Other contents include food rations, a tiny collapsable camouflage tent, and a photograph of her adoptive parents, Marcus and Amelia Daedalus.
~ Prometheus (See Dress Image) A 36 inch sword in shades of white, silver, and blue. The sword was the one her sculpture came with. Is imbued with holy power, unbeknownst to her, giving her a 30% boost in physical strength. When sheathed, the whole sword transforms into a simple cross-shaped necklace. The sword itself is indestructible and the blade is, by default, invisible so that the enemy cannot figure out its full length. However, the sword loses some power when it is incognito, and when dueling against a strong opponent, parts of the blade will show itself when clashing against the opponent's weapon. Can turn visible when she chooses. Both the invisibility and the strength increase are often mistaken as rune boosts.
~Oathkeeper & Elucidator: Two five-round cylinder colt revolvers inherited from her tutor. The Oathkeeper is the above image, and the Elucidator is the same model with inverted colors, and more of a gunmetal black than the silver. She mostly uses her runes for bullets.
Transportation:
Ella has tamed Fenrir to ride him, but often chooses to walk along side him when she can as she sees him more as a companion. The two understand each other quite well despite Fenrir's inability to speak in human tongue.
Ella can also fly short distances (one minute before stigmata sets in), but she more or less uses this in combat and on missions.
Skills:
+ Can survive long periods of time without food or water due to rigorous training and also part of her angel blood (unbeknownst to her).
+ Mastered a martial arts style focused on efficiency and brevity at the expense of endurance. This martial arts style also incorporates the use of both guns in close range combat, as well as throwing knives.
+ A fusion of her tutor's own swordsmanship along with Ella's innate angelic style. While her tutor's style requires her to fully optimize her movement, Ella's natural styles adds a bit of prowess and elegance that some describe her style as more of a dance than actual combat, despite how dangerous and quick it is.
+ Supernatural charm that affects all beings in varying degrees. She can be seen as more trustworthy, pure, or to those geared toward her gender, more sexually appealing. Conversely, her charm ability also gives her some resistance to others who possess supernatural charm.
+ Clairvoyance using a "sixth sense" allowing her to sense any target in a 2 mile radius, thereby increasing her natural instincts.
Strengths:
+ Superhuman Agility, Reflexes and Stamina capable of withstanding harsh environments without much equipment. These traits are due to her being half angel
+ Experienced tracking and hunting abilities and heightened capacity for observation through years of experience as a mercenary.
+ Mid to close range combat with single enemies, and splitting up large groups to single out each target.
+ Expert tactician in combat - specializes in dispersing large groups to tackle opponents individually. Especially useful in more closed areas such as buildings or cities/ciity ruins
Weaknesses:
- Her physical strength is quite weak in comparison to most supernatural creatures while not wearing her holy garment or wielding Prometheus. rivals that of a human at peak physical condition.
- Due to her physical limitations without her holy items, she can only handle one large creature at a time, as her fighting style and runes are mainly used for close quarters combat against humans and humanoid races. Will often try to avoid fights against large creatures unless it is absolutely necessary.
- Trusts very few people, but when she does, she tends to extend her trust too much. She is also easily prone to falling in love.
- Ella experiences stigmata when she overuses her runes due to her lack of access to her holy powers. The stigmata can last anywhere from an hour to a full day, and it sets in on the rune that she overuses.

Or so I'd like to think. I'd like to introduce myself. I am Enso. I am an incomplete circle, and I hope that I will find someone to complete this circle with me.
