Esailia didn't wait for the hand up, leaping up after Luna with ease. The huntress pulled another arrow once her footing was stable, notching it before glancing about as well "I hunted in the forests of my home, yes." She replied, then took another shot at one of the huge lurkers down below, hopefully hitting between its armor. As she lowered her bow, she shot a look back at Luna "To the wall it is." She agreed.

She took off at a jog, speeding up only to fling herself over a street to the other side, landing with a practiced grace. Esailia looked around as she waited for Luna to follow behind, a habit formed out of hunting in a forest where half the beasts are bigger than you.
Esailia glanced up at the sky as the light changed, her feline eyes narrowing at the clouds as they rushed to cover the day in grey gloom. She had never seen the weather change so drastically before, and it filled her with a dread she hadn't felt since her father died.

"Luna, I think we shoul-" She began, but was cut off with something bursting out of the ground. She dashed over to her companion, yanking her away from her goods just as dirt and rocks fell over the square from the explosion. "Let's go! Grab some food!" She yelled over the screams and shouts of warning like her own. She pulled her bow from her shoulder, drawing an arrow back on the string to take aim at....she didn't know what they were. She likened them to armored worms. People were yelling something that she didn't recognize as any word she recalled hearing before: Lurkers.

With what time she had as she waiting for Luna to snatch what she could, she took in as much as she could of the beast. It wasn't like a worm...more like a burrowing millipede. Where the legs grew from, a slit of what appeared to be softer flesh was exposed between the armored back and belly of the creature. She adjusted her aim and let the arrow fly. She didn't see where it hit before grabbing at Luna again, this time pulling her away wether she was ready or not.

"Something must have attracted those creatures here." She rambled, her mind more on avoiding the running people than actually holding a coherent conversation. "Where can we go? How do we get out of the city?"
No moar IC posts? =(
No, we haven't written ourselves into a corner. broadcasting is bad, focused communication between only two people is undetectable. So when the others contact alice now, she can tell them where to meet. Or it could be fade to black for single communication and just say in a single post she told everyone singly.
Is this RP dropping off? =(
I would be happy to roleplay with your character if you changed how the power works. I can give a few ideas if you're interested.
I agree with that statement. IF he's been accepted in PMs, then there's no real point in arguing about changing it. But I also don't want to interact with someone who can't die in a roleplay that involves conflict and possible death in combat. It's no fun when your ally can just walk up to an enemy and let them do all the work to kill themselves.
I'm interested if the whole genetics thing would possibly alter the appearance of the person being altered. I have an idea with feline DNA causing my character to grow fur, morph her ears, and grow a tail, while enhancing her flexibility and reflexes. A trade off for this speed is her strength. She has more fast-twitch muscle fibers, so while she can dodge quickly and sprint over 30 mph, she can't do it constantly for over a minute. Like a cheetah, a burst of energy before she is exhausted. On top of that, she can't hit very hard, and would rely on quick attacks and her agility to win a fight.

As for that cheat death thing, it sounds too overpowered to me. It's basically god modding. Also, why would such a power even be useful? most roleplays can't kill player characters unless the player agrees to it. So it brings up the issue of a player character trying to kill Kafele. What if that player does shoot to kill, but doesn't want to have their character die? It's unfair in that respect, because on top of the no killing player characters, the 'passive' kills the other person. If you say "Then don't try, and we're good." It's OOCly saying "Can't attack me!"

That's my opinion on that. Feel free to nit pick my own choice, if you wish. I'd be glad to converse, and let the GM decide.
This should prove to be interesting... XD
Esailia extended her hands out to either side in a non-aggressive gesture as the crowd quickly dispersed, leaving mostly her own people surrounding the area. She slowly lifted her hands up to pull her hood off, then waved a hand to stay the hisses and meowls of anger at each crack of the whip.

"I wish no more suffer. She suffer enough. We lose many in useless fight, or you take victor and leave her. I not think you want me as enemy."

She stated this calmly and firmly, clearly unafraid to start a race war with a more powerful species. All around, cat-calls and yips were thrown at the guards. The Nekomata outnumbered the guards currently, and some even had crude weapons at their disposal. It would be a bloodbath for the Nekomata, but the guards wouldn't leave unscathed. It might also embolden others to join a fight against their hated overlords...

"I also do not think audience want me dead off stage." She added with a smirk.
