Sorry if it caused confusion. I was referring to Gareth;s Zeo that had walked down an alleyway.

But on a side note, what do you think about my CS and first post?

Name: Esa kitten
Age: Appears 15
State of mind: Seems level, very scared. Doesn't appear infected.
History: Unknown
Other: She never speaks. Unknown if by choice or by injury. Wears a fancy collar on her neck with a tag that reads "Esa kitten". She is very protective of her collar.

Final note: You have permission to injure, restrain, or kill this character if the situation evolves into that.
The Everwar. Such a short name for a conflict so large it stretches beyond the horizon in both directions. In this battle, countless numbers of fighters clash. No one knows how this war began, but people are constantly dumped into the War by portals in a random open area inside the battlezone. There is no boundries to who or what is dropped in. But there is always an exact counter to everyone or everything dropped at the same time. No one is the 'most powerful' here.

In this nameless world, the land is relatively flat. Pockmarked across it, however, rock forms spike upwards into the sky. These spires are the only places that seem to be defensible, to set up some sort of base camp for small bands of fighters that team up in order to survive. Ownership of these changes constantly, the longest held in anyone's memory being only two days by a contingent of soldiers wearing the same armor...They perished to dragon's breath. Onlookers will recall later that the soldiers reacted as if they knew the creature, calling it by a name lost to everyone's mind.

It is here, that YOU are dumped. How long will you last in the Everwar.

Welcome, to the testing grounds for that Mary Sue or Larry Stu. Have an idea for an OP character, but no one lets you in because of it, despite all the weaknesses you give your character? Here, you may drop them into a place of constant strife, and create your own battles with faceless combatants. While very little is off limits, I don't want gods or anyone invincible. The major point I want to drive here is that this RP is here to help temper your characters. test their RP style and refine their powers and weaknesses. This world is unknown to everyone. No one knows any more than anyone else about it. All that can be learned can be seen in the first post you make. If I feel it prudent, I can and will throw a curveball at your character. This can be anything, depending on the situation. Also, if your character is killed, they aren't gone. They are simply pulled back in via a portal, alive and well once more. I don't want to see people killing other player characters without consent, but DO NOT be afraid to HAVE your characters die. There is no eternal death here.

Also, banding together is entirely up to you. Either IC or OOC. Don't be afraid to ask others to either team up or fight against IC. It's a war. People are expected to fight. There won't be much of a story arc here, so don't expect an end to the war. Lulls in combat might happen, if you wish to have engaging storytime with others. I suggest doing this in the shadow of one of the spires. I do not intend to throw any detailed character of my own in, since I will be busy no doubt helping others with their own, or settling conflicts. I will not restrict powers. But Be aware that if you do attempt to godmod other players without their consent. I will godmod your character's death by their 'counter', and possibly moved to a new area of the battlefield upon re-entry.

Rules:
1: The only restriction to character creation are no gods or invincibility. Somehow they must be able to get hurt, and must be able to die.
2: any conflicts in OOC will go through me. Do not bicker amongst yourselves, or you will find your character yanked through a portal back to wherever they came from and removed from this RP.
3:Remember, this is a testing ground first, RP ground second. There is no intention of an overall story arc. You are free to make stories between each other, however, and it's encouraged, interact with others!
4: Create your own faceless combatants, or ask that I write them up for you. Be patient if you ask me to do so, I might be busy writing up for others.
5: No cussing at all here. See rule 2 for consequence. Censor your character's speech if you feel it appropriate for them to cuss.
5A: Sexual interaction, please go to PM. See rule 2 for consequence of public sexual acts.
6: I reserve the right to create more rules as time goes on.
7: Have fun with it. Go crazy with creation. It's a testing ground for a reason. =3

So. Who's first to join the Everwar?
Magic users are sprinters. tech users are long distance runners. That is their advantage. Magic users need to pick and choose how they use their mana. Tech users, however, can use their weapons more freely. Sure magic users have more power, but they don't have more freedom. If I understand what Dazed is getting at with stamina, it takes quite a while for someone to regain it. Each side has advantages and disadvantages.
I would imagine it depends on if the client wants the suspect alive or not.
I actually like this new Esailia. Makes much more sense. As people say, change is difficult, but usually it's for the best. In this case, it is. Why WOULD she learn to harness fire? Or Lightning? Nature magic is a....natural extension to her life. She gained earth magic by exploring deeper into the natural world. She can't move the earth itself, but she can call for its help.

Revised. Hope this works better ^_^
Completely alright with starting in that city. I didn't want to start in Throx for that very reason. I also misinterpreted how much the crystals would affect a magic user. I imagine Esailia wanting to avoid them, then. No problem there.

The reason I wanted to use multiple elements was since the way she lived didn't force her to build up her mana pool. She uses her weapons to accent her abilities, so she can barely be on par with the length of time a normal magic user would be in terms of stamina. If forced to use her magic without her bow or swords, it would deplete her mana in either a few spells, or even in one or two, depending on which element she used. It's an intentional crutch for the fact of using more than one element. For example. If Esailia is in a prolonged fight, you wont see her shooting magic infused arrows, or swinging around her swords with elements constantly. She simply cannot cope with constant use. She relies more on planning and reflexes to get her through fights rather than her magical power. I'd be willing to bounce ideas of how Esailia can use the elements on her weapons in PM with you, if you feel they are too much. I understand you don't want anyone to be OP. Perhaps she can use two elements?

I am debating this because my character would not be the same without her ability to use the base elements. She grew up with nature. Earth, water, fire, air, being the four main ones. Earth and water grow the plants, air being self explanatory, fire has its place as well. cleansing a stretch of land, allowing a fresh start to an ecosystem. Esailia would have learned to harness these base elements in her time as a Keeper of the Wood. Even her ability to heal would be nature based than light based. Like a druid, rather than a priest.

I understand too that I am pushing something that you feel shouldn't be in the world you created. I bring up the fact that odd and amazing things happen in our world too. The man who can swim in ice water by controlling his internal body temp with meditation. The human conduit, who can conduct enough electricity to turn on lights without any bad side effects. People so flexible they can scratch behind their ear with their foot. I can imagine in a world where everyone has mana, there would be oddballs that can do strange things. But as always, I will defer to your judgement. It's YOUR world, after all.

The two slots are storage spots for tiny crystals. So if she does need a boost, she doesn't have to rummage in a pouch for it. She can just grab it from that slot quickly and readily. She does not interact with them to make her magic work on the arrows. Thus, not tech. If the GM says that no crystals permitted on weapons for non tech users, I will be happy to oblige.

I also realize that my description of her magic abilities is not the conventional "Spell flinging". I wanted something more unique, and some ways from the norm. Makes things more interesting.
