So, in addition to being in a roleplay and in the process of creating a game, I've decided to open up a graphics shop. I'm working with pixels and I'm becoming acclimated to how it all works, but I'm still learning as I go, and this is a great way for me to improve.I look at the process like
this.
You give me an idea.
I pixel that idea out.
It serves as both practice and inspiration for me to continue making my game.
Or in other words, you're helping me help you help me help you, ad infinitum. Here's how it works.
Requests must be no larger than 400x400 pixels for signature, 128x128 for an avatar.
Animated sprites are allowed, but expect them to take much longer.
Include a color palette you wish for me to use in your request. Makes things easier for both of us.
Sets for avatar and signature are allowed, but it'll take some time, much like animated sprites.
If you want me to pixelate a certain picture, please include the reference and remember that this, too, will take some time, probably because I like to shoot for accuracy.
I also do image edits, but don't expect them to be as cool as some of the ones I've seen on here. Give me some time, gosh.
Here's your request form.
Request: (Avatar, Signature, Set)
Size: (Specific sizes for what you want; use exact dimensions. This does not include the customary 3-pixel transparent border I will affix to each creation.)
Description: (Describe what you want your request to be. Please be clear and concise with what you want.)
Reference(s): (If you have references you want me to go by or be inspired with, link them (this includes color palettes). I will use them to the best of my abilities. If the reference provided is what you want pixelated exactly, let me know. This way, there's no confusion between us and everything runs as smoothly as it can.)
Inspiration(s): (Songs, video clips, pictures, what have you. If you want these to serve as inspiration for the pixel process, link them. I will do the best I can with them.)
By filling out and submitting a request, you are agreeing to be patient with how much time it can possibly take. Don't think I will flake out - you WILL get your request filled. In fact, to keep in contact and for you to monitor progress, I will contact you occasionally to provide some mock-ups of your request. I might take some creative liberties, might not, but this method allows you to know what's going on and to give feedback on what looks good and what doesn't, as well as request any adjustments and changes you want me to make to your request.
As any shop owner has done in the forum, here's a couple of examples of things I've done.
Concept for the main character of 'Fragment'.
Concept for the character 'Murphy'.
My edited avatar for RPG.
My edited signature for RPG.
Kessa's Request - Pixelated Owl
In-progress concept for 'C0R-3'.
Some fan art of Cry. I assume he likes to sleep.
