As the high-pitched scream shattered the silence of the morning, Brad almost smiled. It reminded him of Coach, if a bit screechier. Rolling off the bed, he landed in a push-up position, quickly knocking out a few to try and get warmed up for the day. He stifled a yawn, as he quickly changed into his spare uniform, almost regretting staying up as late as he did to call home. Luckily, everyone was doing well, even his older sister Angela, who just finished her degree.

Jogging down to the cafeteria, Brad frowned. His protein powder still hadn't arrived yet and breakfast was just a lot of empty carbs. At least they had soy milk. Pouring himself a bowl of cornflakes and soy milk, he decided to try and itemize his goals for the day.

Naturally, he would be attending all his classes. But of course, he wasn't entirely sure what the schedule for today would look like. A bit annoying to a planner like him but it wouldn't do him any favours to get hung up over it. He also had to ask the faculty when they were expecting the rest of the supplies to come in as well as what the options for sending items home. Two cards had been burning a hole in his pocket and he knew just what to do with them.

Speaking of cards, Brad had to try and find Angelo again to ask him about the pack he had given him. Hopefully he had gotten what he needed. But he remembered Angelo mentioned something about having a lot of Reptiles that he didn't need and Brad could really use some more replacement cards. That and Brad had picked up a Tuner he didn't need so maybe that would help out Angelo.

Finally, but definitely not unimportant, he had to get back into a workout routine. His family had banned him from doing any major exercising while he was recovering from his injuries but they couldn't stop him now. Once he got his schedule for the day, he'd find time to squeeze in some cardio.
Alright, after that storytelling, I'm gonna need to nap for a few weeks. (read: a few hours)

Catch you folks later.
Holy cracker jacks, did someone mention East Academy?!

Boy howdy, is that a fun story...

...That I will not tell in the OOC thread because I wouldn't want us to get off-topic here.

But if any of you ARE interested in hearing a tale of hubris, betrayal, and an army of infinite magic ghost aliens, I'm more than happy to give a dramatic retelling of one of my favourite train wrecks of all time over PMs.
I don't know; comfy blankets are pretty cheap, easy to get, and basically the best things in the whole world.
Brad shrugged, but he still followed Nathaniel towards the elevator. Brad was not quite sure if he had made up his mind about Nathaniel yet. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but the whole dress shirt to perform physical activities raised a potential red flag. Then again, that likely applied to this whole bizarre school of kids with too much time on their hands.

As they got into the elevator, Brad felt a shiver down his back. Something told him that it would be a bad idea to ever challenge Nathaniel to a duel. He wasn't sure what it was, but the message was loud and clear: win or lose, it would not be worth it.

With that unsettling thought, Brad now found himself in an elevator alone with the guy. At least the day was nearly at an end.
"Texas," was Brad's curt reply. Having had his gaze focused on the dress shirt, he had completely missed that this guy was a fellow member of the Earth dorm. Brad could not remember Nathaniel's placement duel, so he had no idea what he played. An Earth dorm duelist could make for a way to earn more points, but...

Brad blinked, feeling his tiredness beginning to sink in. He hadn't gotten much sleep last night, still bewildered by this strange new place. That and he had to call home before knocking off for the night... Probably best to call it a day.

It was at this point that Brad realized he wasn't entirely sure how to get back to the dorm from the shop. "You know the way back to the dorm?"
@LunarStandard

"Brad." He took the hand that was offered. The poor guy must be terrified; there was no strength to the grip at all. In fairness, Brad did have quite the serious expression on.

And yet, Nathaniel wasn't the only one intimidated in this exchange. Brad was out of his element at this school and while Angelo seemed like an easy person to relate to, Nathaniel was not. And if Brad couldn't relate to someone, he got a bit coarse. "What's with the outfit?" It was hardly school regulation and, judging by the perspiration, definitely a poor choice for physical activity.

Just as Brad was about to leave for his dorm, he felt like he was being watched. Turning around, he spotted a sweaty fellow in some sort of fancy clothes. While people staring at him dumbfounded was not exactly an uncommon thing back home, considering that this school seemed to be some sort of weirdness magnet, he had not really expected it here.

"Hello," said Brad, his voice echoing in the mostly empty shop area. The temptation to add 'little man' to that brief statement was strong but Brad managed to fight it off.
After Brad hands Angelo the pack he picked up for him, he opens his own. Slowly flipping through the cards, he frowned. Math wasn't his strong suit but he was certain that the odds weren't that bad. At least he got a few Worms. Speaking of Worms, he had to ask Angelo to trade with him so he could...

As Brad tore his gaze away from his cards, he realized that Angelo was nowhere to be seen. Letting out a deep sigh, Brad put the cards into his blazer's pockets. It was getting late, he figured as he looked at how dark it was outside.
@Ammokkx Grabbing 1 booster set (2 packs) of Tactical Evolution and 1 booster set (2 packs) of Hidden Arsenal 3, giving one pack to Angelo.
