Alien: Fall of Earth (Sci-fi roleplay, 3/10)

"Well you get in there and eat, you deserve the rations" Rothius said to Blitz. "You can take that as a order if you would like." A smirk forming on his lips as he brought up a index finger and pushed his glasses closer to his face. He then looked to the sky and could already see two lights from up on high coming down. He then turned around and began to survey the area. His glasses were not just for looks. They acted as a heads up display. He picked up hardly any movement for the time being. There were a few Xenos hanging around but they were only watching. Observing their every move it would seem. He looked to one of his men and pointed towards the trees. "The enemy has placed a few scouts, have some of our men eliminate them." He ordered. The man nodded and pressed the side of his helmet. "You heard the man...." After wards you could see the shells of the guns by the helicopter from soldiers. The guns were certainly high tech as each shell hit their mark and hit them well.

It did not take long for two pods from the sky to hit the ground with a large thud. Kicking up dirt everywhere. Then doors swung down and out one pod came out a engineering team with heavy machinery. The crew moved to the entrance and began working on fortifications right away. The other pod and more soldiers and a few lab coats. They were weapons engineers. "Those men are for you Erika, go with them into the pod and they will finish the upgrades and enhancements on your arms." He said. ERika nodded and looked to Blitz and Bakki giving a friendly gesture and running to meet the scientists.

Erika's father finally came over to where the trio had stood. He made Bakki really nervous, mostly because the way the man carried himself he seemed way up the ladder when it comes to the corporation he works for. "You two must be Erika's friends. I am Rothius Brawn, I am the chief scientist in the weapons division of Wayland Yutani corporation. I was the one that installed the augmentations in my daughter's arms." He said gesturing to them. He then looked down at the Bunker behind them. He turned to the man standing next to him. "Sergeant, access this make shift bases defenses, I believe Major Miles is on it already. Just have him debrief you of what he has found so far." He ordered. The man nodded and gestured to the men by the helicopter. They quickly joined Rothius's side. This brought a sigh and smirk from him. He looked to Blitz after her little episode and rose a brow. "You do know that is very unhealthy to let your self go too long without eating." He said. He then smiled as he thought of his two marines. Erika and her mother ate loads of food when they were hungry.

Miles continued to look at the map marking places on it where the bunker would be weak. One of the survivors were standing next to him as he pointed. "These spots here all need to be closed. We only need to leave one of these back entrances opened and very well camoflauged. That way we got an escape route in case shit hits the fan, and it will." He said. That was when one of Rothius's heavily armed men stepped up across from the table. He looked up and the man leaned in. "Alright, Major let me know what needs blocked off and what needs done. When the engineering team comes in we will get right to it. Will only take a hour for them to get here." He said. The Major nodded and so the debriefing began.

Bakki looked over to Blitz and shrugged. "Depends,... on if those black serpents lets it work out." He said. Referring to the fact that they had tried to stick with large groups quite a lot but the Xenomorphs kept anything from happening for a long time. He looked back to the people he was helping. A few heard him and looked his way. "Of course last time we didn't have the helicopter so it might help a lot." He said to try and boost their confidence, but not only theirs but his as well. His faith in them surviving this fight had dwindled some over the past couple days. Problem was it would get even worse over time.

Erika came over and patted him on the back. "Don't worry guys,... we now have the backing of my father. A head scientist for Wayland Corporation. That does make a large difference. Seeing as some supplies wont be to hard to get and back up if we need one." She said. Her mood was much better then a couple hours ago. Her spirit lifted with the aid of her father and one less head ache to deal with.

Miles was down below looking at blue prints of the bunker. His purpose was to locate any weak points in which the Xenos could get in. They needed to seal each one of them and secure a way out if they needed it. Jin stayed beside Hotaru as she brought water to those in need of it and he kept his eye on those around her and himself. His hand held a firm grip on his sword and his gun.

Alien: Fall of Earth (Sci-fi roleplay, 3/10)

The amount of Xenomorphs that had attacked began to dwindle down to a small few and it didn't take long for them to go down as well. The Xenomorphs had stopped coming at them giving the people at the bunker time to relax. Erika knew it wasn't over, that none of it will ever be over. She hoped that this fight opened the eyes of those below to see that the enemy is them not other people. The Xenomorphs will be back though and there was nothing they could do about it except count their ammo and those that are still alive and if possible dig graves for those that died today. She looked to the ground and could see that despite the amount of Xenos they killed, that they did suffer losses. Some where lucky and only injured but some had been killed. She sighed knowing that this was only the beginning. The helicopter began to lower once more. This time her father stepped out along with her, with him was his men.

"Do not think of this as a victory,... the Xenomorphs will be back with more eventually. They will keep attacking until each and every single one of you are dead or dying." He father said. "All you can do is reinforce your defenses and make sure you have enough ammo." He said and he looked to his men. "We shall help with the reinforcing part. Call to head quarters and get a engineering team down here as well as a few more men." he said and the man nodded, moving to the helicopter to place the order. "Also make sure a team of our finest comes. If we can't finish the design back at the base we shall do it here." He said referring to the augmentations in Erika's arms.

Miles and the other three men Jarvis, Jin and Bakki were helping the wounded inside while this went down. Hotaru helping out where she could. It wasnt much but it was her best.

Erika felt a little odd riding in the helicopter. Wasn't so much the idea that she was right beside her father ,but what she was doing. She found some sort of enjoyment out of killing these Xenomorphs. It was like every kill caused a sliver of her stress would vanish. It was just so simple, the pulling of her trigger, the dropping of each Xeno in her sight. A smirk even formed on her face.

Miles backed himself up until he had joined the sides of those survivors trying to do exactly what their name implies surviving with a barrage of gunfire. Their shots were not as sparingly as his, he fired in short bursts, they didn't. He sighed but he let it go. For right now they were fighting a tide worse then anything they could imagine. A tide, judging from the people who climbed out of the wood work, that brought them together to fight one enemy. Thus enemy would not go down easy. Even if the Xenos couldn't take us right now and retreated. They would leave and take footings else where and get more numbers. As long as the Queen remained alive these Xenomorphs would continue to be a plague upon this good earth. The only way to survive is to get away from their path and hope yours never crosses theirs again.

Bakki, unfortunately he did not carry a assault rifle like most of the people around him, he had his dragonov sniper rifle. He had to time his shots perfectly. Each shot hitting its mark. Each bullet tearing into his targets. It resulted in the front end of xeno having its face exploded from the impact or a limb flying off spray acid every which way. He didn't even notice one of Ralph's ex militia standing beside him. Until the man gave him reason to. It started with the man holding his fire to replace the empty mag. The clever Xenos now free of his power took advantage of it and one ran for him. The Xeno slammed the man to the ground. It began to crawl over him and took position. The Xenos tail lining up with his gut read to impale. However Bakki halted its progress by taking his sword and slicing its head in half. The piece sliding down to the ground as the creature slumped to the ground.

Jin kept his fire going as much as he could. Until the worse had happened. Something hit the gun. A big massive hit of acidic spit that began its job by melting the barrel. He had to yell down below to make sure Hotaru didn't get hit by the spit that made it through roof. "Don't let that spit touch you!" He yelled. Hotaru had to shove herself out of the jeep as she saw the spit come down. She was a little saddened by it cause the jeep was a home to her. She couldn't stop for a second though and continued to fire her weapon.

Jin climbed out of the jeep and joined beside her. P90 in one hand and his sword in the other. He swore to protect her as well as he could.

Jarvis kept his fire on the Xenos toppling trees as well. He as well was enjoying himself. Yelling out words over the radio like "Did you see that?!" He said as he got a bundle of them.

. Erika's father stood upon the deck of the gunship watching his men open fire upon the creatures and a slight glance to the right he saw the pilot press the red button on the joy stick to cause one of the rockets from its pods to impact against a group of xenos.

To make things worse all the noise and chatter from the forest began to bring I unwanted guests. These guests where the Xenos that had been hunting them sense they left New York only there wasn't a dozen of them. It would seem like there was no end to them.... Some of them were even hopping from tree to tree as they neared the bunker. They could sense every life form in the area through scent as well as hear anything that made a sound. It did not take long before the bunker was completely surrounded and once they had one of them began to reveal itself by climbing down from atop the bunker. This caused a few of the survivors outside to rush inside but one did not make it as it leaped for the survivor. It pinned the man to the ground and before anyone could react it punched a hole through the mans head. Of course what it got was heavy fire from one of Erika's father's men. A few hits to the xeno and it clumped to the floor in a lifeless heap.

. This caused the other men to look around. "Sir, we are surrounded... By Xenomorphs. We must take to the air." He said. Rothius looked to his men and nodded and then looked to Erika and grabbed her wrist. "I lost your mother to those things, I will not lose you." He said. She did not argue with his logic and went with him. She began to gun a few of the Xenomorphs as she made it to the chopper which was already prepped for take off. As soon as she got on as well as his men they raised off the ground and quickly began opening fire on the Xenomorphs.

Jin and Hotaru had spread begun their attack on the Xenos as well. Bullets ripping into the masses of the monsters. Jarvis made a run for the tank, Miles and Bakki giving him cover fire as he climbed up its side. He even had to draw out his desert eagle and shoot down a few as he did so. Once he got in he closed the hatch and then grabbed a hold of the sticks and turret began to turn around. It fired it's first round blowing away a good number Xenos and scattering the rest but more came.

The survivors were all cooperating with Erika's new orders and with her right to command them. Their leader made an attempt on her life and the life of her own. She gave them the ultimatum and they accepted it. She would however protect them as anyone else could. With a tank and a military jeep guarding the entrance to their bunker it will not be hard to. Depending on how long her father planned to stay that also meant they have a helicopter as well. However all future plans were put to a halt as Blitz ran up with something really urgent. She looked to her and sighed. Great, the shit never ends around here... who thought it was a great idea to come down here again? Oh yeah she did. She cursed under her breath just before she spoke. "What now?...." She said. She then looked to the survivors that climbed out. " You can all head back inside now,... seeing as you know who your true friends are now I don't see any reason to not let you go back down there.... before you do though." She looked to Miles and gestured towards the jeep and then to the tank. "Miles will show you to what supplies we got,... it wont seem like much but it will help." She said and Miles did just that. Showing some of the people to the supplies and helping them bring it in. "As soon as all the supplies are within the bunker park the humvee right up in front to the right of the bunker entrance." She then looked back to Blitz.

"Okay what is the problem?" She asked. Her father gestured for his men to join them as well just before any information was divulged to them. Erika gave one side glance and then back to Blitz. Bakki standing right next to her.

Out from the tank came Jarvis as he heard the orders and the talking all seemed like it was going well for now. It seemed like after the leader was taken out those within the bunker submitted rather peacefully. I suppose a tank aiming its cannon at your door would do that rather nicely. He approached just as Blitz ran up with what would seem like horrible news.

The gunship began to lower as the fighting halted with the death of the two hendson brothers Ralph and Marcus. A ending neither side wanted and tried to avoid ,but Ralph had to be dealt with and he had. Jarvis did not want it to go out like this, but he knew it would. Jarvis looked over to Kiley and pulled her in to let her cry over his shoulder. It was the least he could do. The gunship was most unexpected though. He looked outside while he held her. He wondered who it was,... well judging from the big Wayland Yutani logo on the chopper it was the big deals. "I just want to let you know that I did not want it to end like this. None of us did... but we prepared for it mentally in our heads. I think deep down you knew it would happen as well." He sighed patting her. It was the only thing he could do right now. "Things are so much easier when its just those monsters that need killin'....."

Bakki let out a sigh and stood up staring at the men that came out. He hopped off the tank and began walking towards them. Joining him quickly were Miles and Erika. Hotaru still stayed within the vehicle with Jin at the guns. Erika stepped forward and looked to the two bodies of Ralph and Marcus. She then pointed to Ralph. "He did this,... not us. We just came to bring daughter back to her father. Understand this,... that if any of you cross me like he did. You will share the same fate." She paused letting the words sink in to the survivors that were outside and made sure she was loud enough for those who are still coming out to hear. "I will pretend that none of you were with him in this plan for now, however I am in charge now you understand?" She said. This was a ultimatum to the survivors. Those with families will likely step down to her ruling. However, those who lost everything like Ralph might not see it otherwise and those people will be dealt with right on the spot.

"I thought it was you...." came the voice from the helicopter as the doors to it side opened up and out came four heavily armed men and armored at that. One man carrying a rather complicated rifle which energy radiated from the barrel. Who came out next would be to Erika's surprise. The man was her father. She understood he was a doctor and had no idea he was a scientist for Wayland Yutani corporation. That would explain why her application was excepted above the others. Her father was the one who approved of it. She smiled as her father stepped ever closer to her. His men instantly began to surround the survivors. They simply just aimed their weapons at them and that was all. No kill shot order was given.... yet. He was pretty tall but thin as well. He had blond short hair and blue eyes. Once he was within reach he placed a hand on Erika's shoulder. "I thought you were gone after I heard about the collapse of the laboratory in New York. Figures if someone would survive that catastrophe it would be you." He said. Erika lowered her weapon and instantly embraced him in a hug. He accepted and then once they seperated he looked around. "You sure got yourself in a mess though... oh well."

"Hows mom?" Erika asked and her father sighed and removed his glasses from his face and began rubbing the lenses with a cloth. "She is dead hun... she mounted a assault on the infested city of new york hoping to claim it back and hopefully save you in the process but the Xenos over powered her and wiped out her assault team and her included. I was at the console when her life lines went silent." He said. He then looked to the survivors and back to her. "You know your project isn't finished yet. There was more installments we were going to make to your augmentations. The whole shit storm we are facing caused its delay. If you will be staying here for a prolonged time then I will call for the science team to come out here and we will finish what we started." He said.... "But before any dicision are made. I aint leaving here until I am sure you will be alright... and your friends too." He said.

Miles never meet Erika's father directly. He spoke with him on occasions and even over the phone he felt very intimidated. Her father carried himself like a very powerful man. He must be some very high ranking scientist to have his own chopper and team. He was starting to wonder who was the superior officer here. Erika or himself. He was just happy he was on her side. He looked to Marcus's body and sighed. "First things first we need to dig some graves... One for Marcus and one for her father. It would be the respectable thing to do." He said.

Bakki stopped the tank and bent forward looking out his view port. They had stopped,... which was to be expected. However, he had a bad feeling in his gut. He looked to Blitz,.... "I have a feeling we just got played by Kiley's father. I think it might be best if you go now,... take Kiley with you and your rifle. If Ralph does anything you don't like... kill him." He said. He did not hesitate to say it either. Even if Kiley could hear them. He then pounded on the wall that seperated him from Jarvis. "What you think about this?"

Jarvis heard everything and looked in through his own view port. Suddenly the radio kicked to life. "Prepare greetin' card,"" An' make sure the teen is taken ta the jail everyone else can stay,". Poor Ralph underestimated Jarvis. When he went into the tank and everyone had their little chit chat he had adjusted the radio to match their signal. It was a local channel easily found. He wasn't even sure if he had gotten it right but he did. He looked to Kiley and sighed. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry you had to hear that,... but your father has to go." He said. He then sat forward in his seat and the turret began to move. If moved and aimed towards the doors of the bunker. Then he grabbed a reciever hooked up to a speaker on top of the tank.

"Alright, I heard everything you just said Ralphie on my little radio. It can pick up any signal sent out and we just heard yours. You have ten seconds to step out of that truck before I blow a hole in your bunker. Don't think I wont just because your Kiley's father." He said. He then put the receiver down and opened a small hatch within the turrets compartment and looked to Blitz. "The moment he steps out take the shot." He looked to Kiley and then back to Blitz. "I don't mean injuring him or anything. I mean you nail him right in the head." He said. He wasn't going to hold back or show any mercy to Ralph or his kin and the barrel of the tank was aimed right for the bunker entrance.

Erika's eyes widened only slightly. She was shocked of this sudden betrayal by Ralph but not too surprised. His own daughter.... She grabbed her own radio receiver and spoke into it. "Kiley,... he is not your father. Not anymore, your father died at the news of Elyana's death. What replaced him was this empty shell of a man. I am sorry but our survival means his end." She said as she put the receiver down. As she did so Jin aimed the .50 caliber machine gun towards the bunker as well as the humvee moved into a strategic position. Miles moved outside the jeep and poked his rifle from around the door using it as a shield. Erika did the same but using the front end of the jeep. Hotaru simply rolled down the window and poked her mp5 out.

Bakki did not hesitate at all and opened the hatch to his compartment and hopped out and onto the tank spinning around to use the hatch as protection. He hoisted up his sniper rifle and aimed it towards the bunker. Everyone was in position and everyone was ready to take out any one of Ralph's men who exited.

To further put pressure on how much fire power was aimed down on them. The gunship that assaulted the Xenomorphs at town appeared swooping in and the turrets on it's nose aimed right at the drivers seat of the truck Ralph and his brother was in. It wasn't hard for the helicopter to track them down and it wasn't hard to pick up their radio signals... all of them. The man in the lab coat picked up the receiver and out from the loudspeakers of the gunship came a familiar voice. Only familiar to Erika though. "If you think I will let you kill Wayland Yutani property you are sadly mistaken...." The voice said. "To add to the threat of the soldier in the tank,... all those within the bunker. If you do not exit the bunker in ten seconds and lay down your arms your commander and chief in the truck will be die by a barrage of gun fire from this helicopter. Coming out unarmed is a plus." The voice commanded.

Erika swore she knew the voice from some where and he even claimed she was Wayland Yutani property.... well he wasn't wrong as she noted her augmentations and her job description. Her and Miles were basically property. Who was this guy? Anyhow that did not matter. This gave Ralph a tough choice.... die now or die later. Either way he was dying today. If the gunship did not kill him, her or Blitz will. He crossed the line and there was no going back. This was the episode of the Walking Dead where Rick had to kill his best friend to save his people. There was no other way around it.
