I enjoy roleplaying, a lot more then I would like to admit. My favorite genres are medieval, sci-fi, and dungeons and dragons style role plays. I find myself okay with GMing my own roleplays, but I would rather be involved in a roleplay where I dont have to build something all the way up and then regulate that role play as well as run it. I have many oc's as well, all made to fill in for different purposes.

Erika shook her head. "The boy is how old? Eight?... maybe ten and you want to put a fully loaded gun into his hand. Sorry Blitz but I don't see how that will help us. You forget that the recoil from even a 9mm would be too much for that kid. If he was older like 14 even I could see it. Plus,... if you didn't notice Blitz, we aint got the time to be training some kid on how to use them either. First off he needs a lot of arm strength." Erika looked to her food and let go of the fork. "Right now all he can do to help out is run around with supplies and even that aint going to be much." Even if the kid could wield the smallest caliber weapon the bullet would just piss the things off. Besides,... the boy just survived a traumatic event that will likely leave him scarred for life, literally and metaphorically. Erika rose up and picked up her rifle.

"I'm hitting the sack. There is a security room which will give us view of the survielence cameras outside. We should have one person on it. You guys can decide who takes the first shift. Once I'm rested I will be looking at our options...." She said. With that done and said she exited the commissary. She took the room she assigned to herself. The first room to the right. She picked it because that would mean if Xenos did breach her room would be the first they would hit. Then again knowing these things... she was likely always the first target if they took the time to observe their movements from now on. The girls were the least of their worries. The leader would be a primary target to them.
"Death of you?.... shit they will be the death of us all" Erika pipped in. It was hard to tell whether she meant it or if it was just simple mirth. Knowing her it was likely both. "Noah,... we can find a way for him to useful. Bringing supplies, ammo, or even stems to us when we need them. However, those girls... I noticed with our fight at the base that they ignored my instructions to fire in short bursts not long. When aiming at the right spot it only takes a few short rounds to take them down. At this rate they will run out of ammo. Then they will just slow us down. It's the problem with bringing on civilians. Especially if those civs don't have any military experience. Yes the girls may have learned how to hunt back out on the farm. Doesn't mean they know how to fight. Anyone of us can out gun them in a heartbeat..... that's like some city fella challenging Wyatt Earp to a gun fight. It's not about being fast, it's about hitting the target your aiming at and hitting them dead." She added. She looked to Blitz and sighed. Her feelings of the situation were mutual. If they let these civs drag them down they will all be dead but oh well. If they die they die.

Miles didn't want to tell her, but perhaps it was necessary. Perhaps if they knew what they were dealing with they would take it a little more seriously. Perhaps they would learn not to take the Xenos lightly. "Most likely taking them to the hive, there they will have one of those things put inside them in a embryo stage. Once it get big enough it will burst out of them and two more Xenos will join the ranks of the enemy." He explained. "All they care about is increasing the size of their hive. Dead or Alive, they get what they want, a host to help build their hive." He ended with that. Once she was all the way in he closed the door once more and locked it. He then began the climb down the stairs once more. "Those things are truly monsters of nightmares. We have no idea how they were created or who ,but we know one thing. They are the ending of civilizations.

Erika checked her watch and then looked to Miles. "Go ahead and let the girls in. I believe they have been outside long enough." She said. Miles nodded and got up and headed out and turned his head and saw that the room that Blitz and Noah had been assigned to was open. He walked over and saw Blitz. "Now that he is asleep you should go and get yourself something to eat. You haven't eaten sense around noon. You can take that as an order." He said. He then continued down and then climbed up the stairs and up to the door. He then began the process of unlocking it. Once it was done he opened the door and peered out at the girls. "Well hope you girls learned your lesson. Next time do not piss off Erika okay. Now get inside and get something to eat....." He then began to sniff and looked down at Elyana. "Seriously?.... Miss I am so tough I can handle myself." He commented.

He simply sighed and looked around and noticed the blood spots. "Oh,... that explains it. You saw one of them eh? The most high tech weaponry is in your hands and instead of using it you piss yourself. Be glad it wasn't after you." He said. He looked to Kiley and raised a brow. "Aren't you the younger sibling?... surprising that she is the one pissing herself."

Erika sat at the tables with the others. In her hands was a glass bottle of cola. Her plate was a mix match of spagetti and smashed potatoes with pork gravy. Yojiro looked to her and leaned in. "So you were trained to fight these things huh?... so was the training part accurate or are they scarier in person?" He asked. Erika looked over and shrugged. She moved her hand and felt the spot the laser and closed up. It felt a little hard for right now seeing as the laser simply sealed it by burning it. "Well,... when that thing slammed it's head into the door of my jeep and knocked me on my ass. I did feel a little frightened for my life. The simulations never train you for that part...so yeah. They are more scary in person then they were in training." She answered. Yojiro nodded and leaned back. "But don't think we are at a loss. We are a decent sized group right now. We have a good chance of surviving this if we all keep our heads." She added. Yojiro nodded to those words.

He accepted them, because they gave to him something the party lacked. They gave him hope. He looked to Taki and then back to his plate. He continued to eat as well as the rest of the crew.
@Aintitfun1997 There are no doctors. The group are the only ones there. That's why Erika fixed herself.
@Aintitfun1997 If they were scared from just the silence,... Nine's slaughtering of two looters right in front of them should make them even more tense.
..... The day had gone long into the dark hours of night. The only thing that provided light for the girls where the neon lights of the signs attached to the building they stood guard at and the light poles. The street they were on was a simple one way street. Very small with little cars. Noise could be heard from what sounded like car coming down the street. It quickly stopped at the store across from them. A dark small truck, most likely a ford. The owners of the vehicle where looters. As they got out one of them spotted the girls. He pointed,... "Look man,... ain't those the most scared cats you ever seen man?" The other turned and looked at them. He then looked back to his friend. "No kidding, can't blame them. You know with all the damn monsters running around."

The other one gave a close inspection of the building that the girls were guarding. "Hey aint the a Wayland Yutani building... bet they have all kinds of stuff in there." He said. The other once more turned and eyed the signs. Both began to smirk and walk over to the girls. Each one swinging around shotguns. Nothing like the 12 gauge like what Kiley had. One had a sawed off shotgun while the other had pump. "I hope you girls don't mind me asking for a little look inside. No violence needed, we just want what's inside. The two said standing together and keeping their backs away and towards a alley. Suddenly a noise from the alley made one jump and turn around. "What the fuck was that?... maybe its a coon. I hope it's a coon" He said as he went to inspect it. The Alley was so dark he could barely see. The light from the street lights didn't help at all. Then it happened.... it was quick, he didn't even see it. The hugest Xenomorph he ever saw walked out of the darkness. The number nine imprinted on it's head. The creature reached out and grabbed the mans throat and lifted him up. It's other hand tore the shotgun from his shaking hands.

His friend ran over in attempt to help him. Nine moved the man she held in his direction so he wouldn't shoot. "You put him down you ugly mother fucker." Nine hissed and tossed the man with enough force to knock the man down several feet away. His partner on top of him he began to struggle. The man on top trying to recover. Nine walked over to them upright as if it was human. Once more she let out a hiss in disgust at them. She turned her head towards the girls. She saw their weapons and knew that to attack them would be suicide. Her tail moved into position up above the struggling men trying to get up on their feet. Barely just getting to their knees. Then once more, before they could even react. The tail launched forward and struck right through the first one and then through the other guy killing them both. Nine then looked to them and lowered itself grabbing their ankles and began to drag them back towards the alley in which she had come.

------------------------------------------

Erika looked to the boy and then to Blitz. "Sorry, no Nina's. I don't know what kind of food they have in the Commissary but your welcome to go check it out. Your guess is as good as mine." She said. She then looked to the rooms and then back to them. "There are two beds per room. So two people a room.... Blitz and Noah. You two will share the last room to the right. I want Noah as far away from the entrance as possible. It is the only way in here so if action does occur. I want him to be farthest from it. You bunking with him will guarantee his safety. That said,... medicine is to my right." She said gesturing to the door with the lettering Medical on it. She then looked to Miles. "You and me will sleep in the first room to the left." She said..."Jarvis and Ramiro will be partnered and that will leave the girls and Yojiro and Taki for the other rooms." She added. With that all done and said she moved to step in the medical and then paused. "Hotaru,... you can bunk with us. No need for you to be alone. Besides me and Miles will likely share a bed anyways. They sure are big enough." She added. She then continued with in the medical bay. There were four hospital beds, she moved to one and placed her rifle down and began to take off her vest. Next came the tank top. Underneath it was a simple white push up bra hugging to her small breasts. She could see the wound much better now and moved to a cabinet and opened it. She removed a laser. Much like the one she used at her own place. She then sat down and pulled a tray close to her. On the tray were a few morphine shots. She took a deep breathe and then let it out. She then turned on the laser and began to seal the wound. Wincing at the pain. It wasn't as bad as she thought. It was painful indeed but not as much. She figured the medicine that Hotaru gave her earlier was helping with that.

She looked up and noticed Hotaru standing there with a wet rag. "In case you need it. Also,... you sure about leaving them outside like that?" She asked. Erika nodded and looked down. "Yes,... those girls need to learn right now that the world doesn't revolve around them. They won't be treated specially just because their from the country and think they know how to fight. This isn't like hunting deer or wolves for that matter. We are in a situation where we are not the hunters anymore,.... we are the prey. It doesn't matter how skilled you are. Those things will send you to a early grave if you get cocky. Blitz did not deserve getting bitched at just because she asked if one knew how to use a knife. She was only asking out with good intentions. What that one gave in return was uncalled for." She explained. She said it calmly and truthfully. "Further more,... I ain't letting know civilian talk rudely to my marines like that. Especially when it's because of us they having a Xenomorph put inside them."

"What you mean?.. by put inside?" Hotaru asked. Erika looked up at her as she finished her patch job. She picked up her vest and put it on and grabbed her rifle. "If they kill you,... your the lucky one. Those that aren't killed by them will be dragged off to the hive. There they will be attached to the walls with very strong substance. When they awake they will see eggs. Within those eggs are facehuggers. A Xenomorphs first stage of life. Like the name suggests,... it attaches itself to her victims face and inserts within the host a tiny larvae. It will grow feeding on the insides until finally bursting out of your chest. Scary part,... your alive and awake when that happens." She explained. Hotaru was even a little bit more afraid now. Not of dying,... but of being dragged off. Erika then placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Hotaru... I won't let them take you." She said.

"Come,... you must be hungry. You never did get to eat." She said. She exited the medical bay and began to move towards the Commissary. She could already see the boys sitting around the table eating. They found some noodles in which they made some spagetti with. Jarvis had one hell of a serving while Miles, Ramiro and Yojiro had smaller ones. Taki didn't seem to be in the mood for that. She had found something that Erika was little surprised they had. "Is that squid?...." Erika asked as she walked up.
Taki looked up and around at her. "Yes ma'am,... I guess one of the workers here is of Asian decent for me to find this here." She said. Erika nodded in approval, a bit of a smirk forming.
Blitz wasn't the only one laughing. "Just so you know,... if it wasn't for us you and your hunting rifle wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes against those things. IF it wasn't for our assistance and giving you better weaponry. You would be useless. Also don't act like you know how to fight Xenomorphs. You don't... the moment you underestimate them and think you know them. That's when you die." Erika said. She was not about to let some damn country girl mouth off to her marine. Not when it was these marines that saved their fucking lives. That piece of shit car wouldn't have made it to the bridge and those things would have had them. Ungrateful bastards. She had to fight every urge from stopping the car and telling them to get the fuck out. See how long they survive then. "Me and Miles however,... we were specifically trained to combat them.... well so where the marines that Wayland Yutani sent a colony that reported it had a Xenomorph infestation. Mind you the colony had guns like the ones on top of this here jeep as well as other weapons. They were all cleaned out when these marines got there. The marines.... they only entered combat with the Xenomorphs for about ten minutes... maybe less and they got their asses handed to them because they walked into a damn ambush. Marines trained to fight Xenomorphs. Got their asses handed to them." She said. "When we ask you if you know how to use something. Yes or No is all is needed. You get attitude like that and you will have to answer to me." She added. She looked over at Hotaru who was a little surprised by the way Erika snapped.

To Hotaru Erika seemed so nice to everyone, I suppose everyone has their breaking point. Elyana just knew which point to break. "Seeing as you two know how to fight Xenomorphs, you two can take first watch when we reach our new hide out." She added. Just as she ended her little rant she saw the building in question. It had no windows, only neon lighted signs. They pretty much advertised Wayland Yutani corporation's products. Switching images from Soda to cosmetics. Stuff that was only available to the public. She pulled up to the building pushing a civilian vehicle out of the way with ease. She swung open her door and didn't wait for anyone else. She moved right to the door. Hotaru swung open hers as well and rushed over to her.

"I know your angry ,but perhaps when we secure ourselves inside. You can relax some. It would be better if your mind was focused on other things then what just happened." Hotaru advised. Erika looked over at her and smirked. She then placed a hand on the young girl's shoulder and then placed her hand on a reader at the door. It scanned her finger prints and the red light above the door went green. Erika then moved her hand to the handle and twisted it. She then pushed the door open. "This door is heavily locked on the other side. It would be very difficult for a Xenomorph to break through. Impossible? No.... But as long as their attention isn't brought to this location. We should be good for the moment." She explained and then headed inside.

There were steps leading downwards and with each set lights would turn on leading the way. "Welcome back Erika, scanners indicate that a outbreak has occurred outside. I was expecting someone like you to use this facility once it began. Your a little late from my calculations." A voice rang out from the speakers within. It was female, but not human. It was a artificial intelligence. Erika shrugged. "Better late then never. As you can tell the city went to shit rather quickly." She said. She could tell from it's silence that it wasn't going to argue with her. Once she reached the bottom of the stairs there was a large hall way with doors. Each door was labeled for its exact purpose. Medical, Laundry, Commissary, Armory and beyond them were the rooms. These rooms were labeled 1-10 each one holding two beds to each one.

She waited for the others to catch up to her location before she was going to telling how things were going to be. Guidelines to follow so they can survive this hell. Until then she looked to a optical eye camera on the wall. " Would you be so kind as to send word to my father,... I know he is pretty far away, but I think it would be good to let him know anyways... please." She said.
"I will send one right away...." The A.I. responded. Erika nodded and returned her gaze towards the stairs.

By now she could already hear footsteps. Jarvis looked to the girls. "You two know,... no one ever said you weren't capable. Erika said what she said because you set her off. Although I do agree with her. That Voltzwagon wouldn't have made it to the bridge as bad as you were pushing it. As for your weapons of choice.... I once more agree. If it wasn't for military intervene in your survival." He said pointing to their new rifles. "You would not have done as fair as you think you would. These Xenomorphs aren't no mountain lion or bear you hunt in the woods. They like to make ambushes... figure you out. Study you until they see weaknesses in your defense. Then they attack and in force. Just like the base." He said. He gestured to the bunker that they were pretty much about to enter. "Just like Erika said,... even this place. As safe as it is. A Xenomorph can still get in if it really wanted to. Again,... no one said you were not capable, with the right tools you are. However, some of these tools you likely never seen before. Plus we are city folk,... we don't know what you country people do. So when we ask you if you know how to use something. Don't bite our fucking heads off." He finished. He said his words a little calmer and nicer then Erika did. Afterwards he headed down. "Come on Blitz... don't need to help them. They obviously don't need it."

Miles got out of his Jeep and looked forward hearing the conversation and rose a brow. What happened now?... He sighed and then moved forward and stopped at the door. He wanted to be the last to enter. That way he can close the door. The locking mechanism was a lot more complicated then a apartment. Much more.... built to keep things in or out. It did not take long before Yojiro and his crew came along. Yojiro stopping at Miles and once more placing a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you again,... If we didn't meet in that base. I don't think we would have survived that attack." He said. He then headed downwards. Taki right behind him and Ramiro followed. Taki only offered a smile which was the most she could do. While Ramiro... he simply just gave him a nod.
Erika had to smirk hearing those behind her joke around with the boy. They sure loosen up fast. I suppose that is a good thing. Herself?... she put hand to her chest and could still feel her heart racing. Suddenly the jeep rocked as they had hit a stray Xenomorph. Of course the hit was her intention. The bastard wasn't even on the same side of the road ,but she swerved the jeep to make sure she took it under. That one was for David. She doubted she killed it though. Well she did until she heard Miles jeep hit it as well. That just made her smile even more. Bastards,... both the Xenomorphs and the foolish assholes back at the base. They had a good surface defense against the Xenomorphs ,but what they did not understand was they needed to block off the other entrances. Entrances only they would use. She blamed those deaths on them not the Xenomorphs. Just like how she blamed this whole thing on the humans who helped their escape. If it wasn't for the asshole who let the Xenomorphs run free none of this would have happened. Little Noah wouldn't have lost his mom or gained a permanent reminder of his ordeal. Every time the boy looks to that wound he will be forever reminded of what he lost.

She looked to the seat next to her and saw it was empty. She looked behind her and saw the girls all crammed in the back. She sighed and stared forward. "A co pilot would be nice right now....." She said. Hotaru turned to look to the spot and then back at the three girls. She took it as a sign and climbed over to it and sat down. She then looked to Erika and noticed the wound. The blood was certainly flowing. She placed her gun down and moved a hand to it. "What can I do miss Erika?" She asked. Erika looked down and saw that it had gotten worse,.... that or it was worse then she had thought it was. She cursed under her breathe and stared forward. "Pouch on my right side... I know it may look awkward but that's where they will be. Stems... same ones I used to stop Noah's bleeding with earlier." She said. Hotaru nodded and reached over. She didn't know what she meant by the awkwardness. Not like Erika was a guy or anything. She opened the pouch and reached in grabbing one of the them. She then looked up at Erika. "Where do I inject this?" She asked.
"Opposite side of the wound. It will stop the bleeding and numb the pain. Latest in Wayland technology." She said quite proud of her father's company despite everything. Hotaru nodded and pressed it against her hip on the opposite side of the wound and pressed the button. The injection was instant and painless. Not like your standard issued syringes of today.

It took about a few seconds before it kicked in. The bleeding slowing to a stop and the pain was non existent. "When we get to the place I mentioned earlier we will fix it up proper." She added. Hotaru watched and then sat back up. She then looked around at the buildings then back to Erika. "How far we got to go?"

"Not too far....." Was Erika's response. "Half an hour away at the most if we get no interruptions."

Once everyone was within the jeeps Erika sprinted for her door and opened it. Just in time to use the door as a shield. One of the Xenomorphs had made an attempt at leaping at her but got greeted with the steel door of the vehicle. However, this also launched Erika to the floor, when she rose back up she could tell the Xeno was already recovering from the hit. She didn't waste time with it though and fired into it's chest dropping it to the ground quickly. She then climbed into her seat and flipped on the radio. "Alright Miles follow me, we are getting our asses out of here. We will have to make a run for it and find some sort of place to set up shop. We can't run for too long so that is not a option." She already had a good idea as to where they would go as well. Being the daughter of a lead scientist did have it's perks and she did know of a small facility close by. It was overly big but it was enough to house the group for a long period. It may even get unnoticed by the Xenomorphs if they are careful enough. She pulled back the clutch and back the jeep up then pushed it forward once more and spun the jeep towards their only exit. She knew the base would fall,... if it wasn't today it would of been another. It housed one of the biggest threats to the creatures. She suddenly felt her side get a little wet and when she looked down at it, what she found was that the thing she gunned down had cut into her with its tail before going down. She reached down to feel it, she was relieved to know it wasn't deep. Right now was not the time to nurse it either. They had to get out and they had to get out now. She pushed the jeep as fast as she could dodging civlians and fellow marines as she did.

Miles Jeep was right behind hers. Ramiro on top with his own .50 caliber. Gunning down as many of the fuckers he could. He was actually starting to enjoy it for the most part. He had to,... if he didn't keep a straight face he knew that this shit would be scary to him. Fighting down a horde of these things was beyond impossible. Well in this field setting anyways. He was sure if they were located in a spot with less open areas that they could easily defeat these things. Narrow paths would force the enemy into a bottle neck and they would be easier to kill that way. "Man, I picked a perfect time to quit smoking...." He said.

Miles kept his focus on the task at hand following his lieutenant as best as he could. With the aid of those in his jeep and hers it shouldn't be to hard for them to escape. He could see them drawing close to the main gate and when that happened he decided to press a button on his radio. "Alright,... people stop your firing, hate to be a cold heart but we do not need their attention any longer. Let the others draw them in while we get out of here. The heavy fire will just draw them to us instead." He ordered. He then looked to those within his jeep. "I know those are my fellow marines out there ,but right now I only care for our survival right now. Just mine and Erika's. You are all welcome to come with of course, but that means we have to make sacrifices." He added. Yojiro pulled his gun inside and nodded. He understood perfectly and moved his hand and pressed it against Miles shoulder.

"Don't blame yourself,... if we die with them then there will be no one alive to enact justice upon these creatures later on. Best we survive so we can get the revenge our people deserve." He said. He then sat back and looked to Taki. "What?..."
"Nothing,...just admiring the short speech is all." She answered. These Marines already lost one man. She knew for a fact that they were not going to be put in a situation where they would lose another.

Jarvis stopped his gun fire after Miles had made the order. It was indeed cold but he didn't care. After seeing David go the way he did. Best they survive this. He saw the wisdom in the words and decided it was best to follow them. Besides, Miles was their commanding officer so orders were orders. He just watched as they exited the base. Those that fled being chased down. Those who stood up and fought back shortly taken down. He felt the base had underestimated the Xenomorphs and didn't take them at all seriously. This was the payment of their foolishness.
