Bio

I enjoy roleplaying, a lot more then I would like to admit. My favorite genres are medieval, sci-fi, and dungeons and dragons style role plays. I find myself okay with GMing my own roleplays, but I would rather be involved in a roleplay where I dont have to build something all the way up and then regulate that role play as well as run it. I have many oc's as well, all made to fill in for different purposes.

@Lucius Cypher we are going by 3.5e
Yojiro proceeded to lead the boy to the commissary, when he entered it was empty and quiet. He did not like it at all. He knew nothing got in but still... the silence always bothered him. Especially with the rise of those monsters on the surface. He looked down at the boy as he groaned about his injury. "It will, don't worry." He said. He was referring to the boys wound. The boy must have been going through a lot. "I heard you lost your mother to those things. I know your pain kid, I was going to marry the love of my life but those things made damn sure that didn't happen. Six was responsible for it,.. so do me a favor. Let me know when you see a Xenomorph with the letter six on its forehead." He asked. He walked over to a table that had a lot of coffee machines on it. He took two cups and proceeded to fill them. "When your done getting your food kid come with me to the control room. I don't think it is smart for you to be alone right now. No matter how secured this place is."
He then began to work on the sugar and creamer trying to remember how Taki liked it. "Well those things didn't take everything away from me,... I still have Taki." He did not know why he was saying this. The kid was much too young to give a shit at this point.

Appearance:
Vivian stands at six feet tall and with a slender body. Her hair short with the typical color of silver and her skin a ebony color with a violet tint to it. Her eyes a vivid color. Her usual out fit is as shown in the picture. A two piece out fit red with a hood and cape. She only looks like this when she is out of the view of the public. When she walks upon the surface of the world she resembles a surface elf pale as snow with long blonde hair with winter blue eyes like that of a wolf. At the present time she is dressed for the hot desert wearing silks to cover her head and body still using her surface elf disguise just in case anyone caught a glimpse of her true self.

Her weapon of choice is a Scythe,... it acts as her only defense when her magic fails. She uses it as a channeling rod for her spells giving them more range and effectiveness. However, it does not give her her magic. She can cast with or without it. The scythe is a charcoal black with a amethyst to the right of its blade. It also has a secondary spike at the other end.

Name:
Vivian Bloodmoon

Age:
200

Race:
Drow

Class:
Sorceress

Biography:
You have likely heard her story before or perhaps you have not. She is a drow elf of the underdark who escaped the cruelty of her mother. Her mother being the matriarch of her house made it ever more dangerous. She did not escape the life she had because she did not enjoy it, actually to be honest she took a liking into destroying her houses enemies with her arcane magic or cursing them into submission. What made her run was when one of her missions failed. Her and three other of her kin went out on a simple raid upon rival house hoping to help rise their own to glory ,but.... they failed. The enemy knew they were coming somehow and they were ambushed. She was the only one to survive and she knew such a failure would not be smiled upon by her mother. The only mercy she would receive was a quick death but she knew better. Her mother would make her suffer like anyone else. Therefore she ran from her house as far as she could until she reached the surface world. She did not stop there though... she kept running as far south as she could to a place where she knew her kin would not chase her. The lands of endless sand. The sun would be too bright for her kin. She didn't like it either but it was the only way she could make sure. Perhaps over time her body will get used to it. That was her only hope....

This is a example of what I want to see. Brief details of your character. What they wear and wield and a short biography... but not too short. A paragraph at the least. Do not reveal to much of your characters past. Leave that for character development.
The Chronicles of Dosei: Sands of Blood
A Dungeons and Dragons Tale by EWillden

- There are somethings in the world better left forgotten, better left beneath the sands for eternity. This is true with most objects hidden within the world. In the wrong hands they could destroy the world or unleash nightmares you only read in books read to you by your parents.-

There is a city on the sands right on the coast called Saphire, this city is one of many but is the largest. Some claim it is the countries capital ,but it does not hold its keep. It is only the largest do to the fact it holds a port to which it uses to trade with the rest of the world. There are many tailors, blacksmiths, alchemy, and of course a few magic shops as well. All magic shops have connections with the great wizards tower that made its home in the city. Run by the Mages Guild. Some are at aw of its immense size while others are completely terrified. A superstitious lot that believe perhaps the mages delve in the dark arts here and there. Only rumors though however it hasn't stopped a few inquisitions by the Order of Pelor. The other stores are privately owned and there is no telling if a guild runs them or not. The people within the city are all dressed in the typical attire of a middle eastern civilization. The guards dressed in similar fashion only that their silk is sown into the armor they wear. Their swords a mix match of flalchions and scimitars.

However, humans are not the only race that live here. A few halflings, maybe a dwarf or two and other races live within as well. However, not all races are entirely welcome, orcs being a popular hated species in the land. Like anywhere else in the realm orcs live in the deserts as well. Like every other orc tribe the pillage and burn small villages in the country. The lizardfolk that live in the desert are also unwelcomed, the tribes are not overly violent except against those that en crouch on their homeland. What makes them so hated is that they are ugly and quite fearful in the eyes of the people that live there. The final species on the hate list is another common race that is hated all over the globe, the drow elves of the underdark. Due to their horrific crimes on the surface it has painted enough of a picture to give people a need to hate them. What makes it more dangerous for them to enter the city is that they would be put to death on sight compared to the other hated races. This did not stop one from entering the city though. She put on a clever disguise though using her magic to create a illusion to those around her. Covering herself with the many silks in the land she came in disguised as a regular elf. Her being a sorceror disguising herself wasn't too hard. Through her eyes she was still the dark elf everyone feared and hated, in their veiw though she was a white surface elf with golden hair and blue eyes.

A smirk formed on her face as she looked the fools as they walked around her bowing their heads. If only they knew who they showing courtesy to. Then again it would only mean her death if they found out. Before she could ever reveal her true self, she would have to make a name for herself. That would take some time and money as well. Trusts would have to be made between people here. She carried with her a scythe, it was a charcoal black with little shine except that provided by the sun. It had little jewels except one. A large amethyst towards the top. The scythe was actually forged around its shape. Vivian took small glances around her as she moved through the crowds. Every so often some vendor would come to her trying to sell her his junk. Vases and pots mostly, she was not interested at all in them. Their design wasn't all that appealing. Event their concept of jewelry wasn't all that exciting. There were a few that did catch her eye though. However, she had to avoid such pleasantries, only because she could not fully try them on to see if she looks good with them because she would have to remove her illusion spell. She couldn't do that,.... not yet. She sighed as the heat was starting to get to her. She could not understand why the people wore so much silk around their bodies. It only made it even more hot in her opinion. I suppose its the sweat and the air hitting it that keeps them cool. The sun never agreed with the skin of a drow elf. It always seemed to burn so much more brighter. It was even worse being located in a desert. She took notice of a tavern door and decided it was best she wonder inside. What she found was a few drunks and others who just wanted to be left alone. She looked to a board on the wall next to the door and saw that there were job postings. Some of them were poor tastes... especially for her. The tavern was even looking for a spot involving cleaning their toilets. No she did not escape the dark horrors in the underdark and the deadly gazes of her mother to clean toilets.... Then she saw it.

"....The Mages Guild asks for brave souls to embark on a adventure to obtain a sacred artifact, A silver chalice long lost. A representative is sitting at a table in the back to the far right. He will explain details of this quest to those willing to see it through."

She turned heard and saw the table. There was some old man there. He looked frail and weak. Her eyes narrowed as she studied the man. Looks could be deceiving though,... she began to walk closer and noticed a staff leaning against his chair. That explains things,... he is a mage possibly a member of the guild. She walked ever closer and sat down at the round table. "Well you got...."

She was about to say but she was interrupted by the man raising a hand. "Silence,... the others are not here yet." He said. She rose a brow and leaned back in her chair. Others?.... what others.

If you are here then you are interested enough to make it this far. What you read above is the setting and a part of the plot revealed. I will not reveal it's entirety because it would spoil the story. What happens here depends on the choices the group makes. That said any questions, comments, or concerns you may have you can post below or private message me. Make sure to post your Character sheets in the Character Sheet tab. I will not accept any character sheets posted below in the OC.

Remember no uber characters. Keep them simple and easy, don't worry I wont throw anything at the group that you wont be able to handle. Not saying I will make it easy either.
The same guidelines from the Interest Check page applies here as well. Be respectful.

*I am the GM, if I don't say it happened then it didn't happen.
*I don't write full paragraphs for the hell of it, each bit of it has meaning. Ignoring such points it might end with your character's death.
*Be respectful to other players, I will not tolerate fights starting in my roleplay.
* This role play is NOT rated 18+, however there will be violence, language, and possibly nudity. I am not saying there will be sex or anything for that is against forum rules. Just saying it may get graphic but not too graphic. You have been warned.
*If you do have a complaint or concern pm me and I will have it sorted out.
*I do not kill off player characters. If I do it is to your discretion, other then that when I have battles happen and they will happen. It will be up to you whether your character dies or bleeds during it. I don't expect mortal wounds to occur but I will expect some. Not everyone is skillful enough to avoid damage 100% of the time. Now I am not saying every battle hurt your character. I am saying don't survive every single battle without a scratch. In other words do not God Mod yourself through this role play.
*If you violate the above ruling you will be kicked and your character auto killed. This will be the only case in which I will kill off a character.
*Players are limited to 2 characters each. I am the GM every NPC, that includes people of interest and villains. Are my characters. I do not mind the controlling of certain npcs. However, it is limited to characters of interest, as in those with names. I give not shit to orc 1 or orc 2 but if a orc comes into play and he has a name. He will be treated as a player character. Meaning auto hitting will be strictly forbidden and controlling his movements also forbidden.
*Reminder, I am the GM not you. IF a player does something totally wrong or story breaking I will let them know in the OC or Private message. Do not leave it to yourself to fix it. My ruling is final on every matter.

Roster:
1.@Lucius Cypher Co-Gm
2.@Ryonara
3.@Belwicket
4.[Open]
5.[Open]

This is the current roster for my roleplay,... if this is your first time looking at this and you want to join in, comment below or post a character sheet in the character sheet tab.

Rules:
*Do not make GM decisions for me, stuff like time skips or things like that are up to me.
*I am the GM not you, Do not act like one unless I designated you as my Co-GM
*Random enemy npcs are good for autkills but make it interesting and dont god mod it... meaning dont sweep through your opponents like they are nothing. You may be capped at lvl 10 but that means the enemy is too. Remember that.
*A follow up to that rule is that Boss Npcs are strictly immune to autokills. I will determine if a blow hits or not. You can also in turn determine whether their attacks hit you or not. Again don't god mod and go all bruce lee and dodge every attack I throw at you. I don't expect all of my attacks to hit something vital of course or to always hit but I do expect simple things.
*I will never kill off a character unless I have the permission to do so by the creator of said character. This follows the rule up above. I do expect for you to get banged up in fights yes... but you don't have to get hit by the enemy with a brutal hit that could hospitalize you. I won't mind if all you get is a cut across the cheek as long as you get hit by something.
*I do have a Co Gm, she is my voice when I am not around. Her job is only to police the Oc and make sure people follow the rules and behave. Show her the respect you would give me. I agree with a lot of her decisions. If shes posts and it is directed at you for doing something she finds odd. Dont disrespect her and wait for my answer... Chances are she already discussed it with me and I okayed it. Me and Lucius think quite similar in certain situations.

Guidelines for Character Creation:

Alright we are using Core 3.5e of dungeons and dragons. If it is a book that has 3.5e on it I accept it. But now 3.5 Homebrew. In fact no home brew at all. If you need help with links or finding something speak to me or my Co Gm. That said... as long as it is from 3.5e I don't care what it is I will approve of it. If you absolutely want something that is homebrew ask me or my Co Gm first so we can look at it. If it is not op or questionable we may say yes. But ask us first before you implement it.
@SwordfishKnight count yourself on the roster then.

I already have a oc typed up. As soon as i get home I will post it and make a CS post. I will only post one and will serve as a example sheet although I will except other forms as well.

@ThePointyEnd@SillyGoy@Meiyuki

With Swordfishknight that will mean one more spot. I expect and hope for it to be filled once I get off of work so the Oc will likely be up tonight.
@Meiyuki 3.5 guidelines for races and stuff. Like Orcs don't hear the voices of Gruumsh in their head in 5e. Arcane Trickster doesn't sound too op.

Also character sheets will be the standard type here. Name, age, class, race, description, biography. Stuff like that. Nothing too fancy.

@SillyGoy Don't worry about that, again this only focuses on the role playing aspect of d&d, no dice rolls. When I put up the oc and you have questions, like class/race choices I will help you with that.

@ThePointyEnd Thank you, you will not be disappointed I promise and if you do it wont be because of me. Or at least I hope not.

Anyhow, when two more people say they are in I will put up the Oc.
My goal is at the least 5 people, no less then that. However the amount of players may go over 5.... How that goes I am not all that sure yet. Maybe two groups of adventurers I don't. Perhaps when I put up the oc I will take your opinions on the matter.
The Chronicles of Dosei: Sands of Blood
A Dungeons and Dragons story by EWillden

There are many tales of adventures and legends in the world of Dosei, this one begins in the great sand dunes of Sabaku. This is a medieval story that uses many dungeons and dragons characteristics. Meaning it uses a lot of the creatures, spells, classes, weapons, and other equipment that exist in d&d but requires no dice rolls or ability settings. This focuses on the role playing aspect of the board game and follows the 3.5 guidelines. Not 2, not 4 or 5 but 3.5 edition. As you can tell by the name and the first sentence this story will begin in a desert located in the Lands of Dosei. Dosei is one large continent in a much larger world, what is outside the continent is up to your imaginations. Perhaps your character is not from Dosei. Perhaps yours is from a country outside of it. Anyhow, there are many types of countries that reside within Dosei itself, Sabaku is one of these countries. The total amount of countries is that of four. Their names are: Numachi the swamp lands where trolls and lizardfolk live. Fuyu the land of the cold north of the nomadic tribes and their Jarls. Foresuto, one large forest country, and Airanzu the islands of the south west. Each with their own Lords to rule them. When you design your characters you can have them hail from any of these lands or from lands outside of Dosei.

Like our world many different cultures and ways of life exist, from traditional and honor to treachery and blood lust. With that guilds or orders exist, some holy and some evil. These guilds consist of Thieves, Mages, or Assassins, the orders consist of Necromancers, Witches, Paladins. Each one with their own set of goals and beliefs.

For character creation I will have a few limits. When it comes to choosing a race, I have limited it to bipedal races or humanoid species for example: Orcs, elves, halflings, dwarves, etc.

Classes are pretty open world, I will not accept ones that are too over powered though. I would like to have a pretty well balanced set of players. As for the character limit between each player, I will limit that to two characters each. Me being the GM my characters are not limited to just one or two because my characters are also the npcs.

When enough people say they are interested I will build the Ic/Oc/Cs page.

Here are a few guidelines as well:
The plot will not be revealed in here or the Oc. No one likes a spoiler. If you want to know whats happened read the ic when it is posted. However, the beginning will be posted in brief in the OC.
Erika stared at the ceiling of her room. She didn't like the silence. It was too quiet for her. She then let out a sigh and closed her eyes forcing herself to sleep. Miles soon entered with Hotaru following in behind. They climbed into their beds and closed their eyes. They attempted the same with fear that they might not wake up, or that they would wake up to a nightmare they have yet to imagine.

As for the others, they were all tucked into their own respective beds. Neither of them wanted the first shift. That job went to two people, Yojiro and Taki. Taki sat in the control room looking at the screens which viewed the outside world. She didn't see much outside except for a few stray Xenomorphs running here and there. However, her camera focused on a single creature. The Xenomorph that had been seen by the girls was watching the building. She raised a eyebrow and observed it. It was as if the creature was simply just studying the building. "Yojiro look at this.... Erika was right. They are smart. It makes them even more terrifying" She said. Yojiro stepped up and looked to the screen. "Hmmm it's one of the Xenos with a number on its head. Maybe they are like leaders of something." She leaned back and nodded. "Perhaps if we were take them out we might level the playing field."

"Chances are we could ,but they could just end up getting replaced. We have no idea how these things think." She said. Yojiro sighed and nodded. She was right. He patted on her shoulder. "I'm going to go get us some Coffee. It is going to be a long night." He then exited the room and looked down the hall to find Elyana and farther from her the boy. He walked down it and hollered at him. "If your hungry, the commissary is this way. Follow me." He said.
