"You are to make it to the ruins where we will give you more information, that's all you need to know right now."

That was probably his way of saying we are not telling you shit.

"Hey! Me, over here!"

A guy excitedly raised his hand with a smile.

"If we beat up some monsters do we get extra points or something?"

"No." -.-

"Pffff... that's not fun....ow!"

He got jammed in the ribs by the guy next to him. They seemed almost identical, probably twins.

"Yun can you calm down a little. We haven't even started yet and you are already giving me a headache."

"Well you are being too lax, first day in Becon man get a little hyped to show off your stuff..."

While they were arguing the teacher just sighed and started deploying them........like they were rocks armed in a catapult. So thats why does things on the ground were there. Everybody was flung at the forest at diffrent intervals and directions which ment they were going to start split off. Atleast they were going to have the same destination.

"Thanks.....I'll be going now."

His face was drained of life. Hopefully some sleep would do him good. The next day everybody was assembled, weapons and all on the edge of the forest for their first official day of school activities. A teacher was explaining what their task was.

"Your task for today is to find the old ruins deep inside the forest. You will all be working together, this is not a race. Once you are all at the ruins we will provide you with furder details. There are some monsters in the area so keep on your toes. This entire forest is being monitored but once you are in there we will not interfear unless we are given one of two reasons. One, you activate the distress becon we have supplied you all with, and two if your vital signs drop. Don't worry, there is nothing you can't handle in the forest as long as you are vigilant and don't take unnesasery risks. Do not enter the caves under any circumstances. Those areas are for advanced students, the testing grounds they are for experianced hunters only. Any questions?"

Oh god, he was not going to become the one known as the guy in the headlock was he?

"No, I needed some fresh air. The night sky always has a way of calming my nerves. I've never seen so many people under one roof, it's a little much for me to take in all at once."

Just then a teacher walked by the window.

"There you are. So you were the one in the garden playing that flute." >:/

Regi was about to ask how did he know that when a few leafs fell from him.........he tried to laugh it off while the teacher tapped his fingers on the window frame.

"Your first day here and already cauzing trouble. I know your type. I'll be keeping my eye on you. You keep causing trouble and I'll make sure the principal hears about this." >:/

With that he walked off.

"......Yes.......thank you................."

Regi collapsed with a defeated look on his face. Worst first day ever!

"The teachers were out hunting. And one was at the door so I needed another way to get back in. I guess I got carried away and lost track of time. I'm Reginald. Again sorry for the whole, crashing in to you thing. I'll try not to make it a habbit."

Regi grunted as he found himself on the gorund after the impact. He quickly realised what he did and got up, emediatly starting to franticly apologize.

"I-I'm sorry. Are you alright? I'm really really sorry."

He offered his hand. The one time he decided to do some physical excersice and thats how it turned out. Two people got hurt. Excercise is evil.

"Whose out there? It's after curfue."

"Oh oh." O.O

Regi quickly put his flute away and ducked in the bushes. After the teacher passed by he quietly made his way back to where he was suppsoed t obe but there was another teacher at the door. He paniced for a bit until he saw an open window but getting there was going to be hard, no good cover in the way. He waited for an openning and bolted for it. As soon as he was close enough he leaped so he could jump inside. He was not the athletic type but he could atleast do that much. The only thing he didn't take in to acount was that someone was right in his way! He was already mid air so it was late to slow down.

When night time rolled around, everyone started to get ready for bed in the ball room. The biggest slumber party ever! Regi finaly got away from those assholes and briefed a sigh of relief. He went outside in the garden to get some peace and quiet. So many people in one place was bad for his heart. Becon sure had impressive gardens, he only hoped the facilities are as good. After a short walk around campus he entered the garden and found a bench he could sit down on. No one seemed to be around so he pulled out his flute. The stars were about to come out so he was going to greet them with quick song.

"Of course he is. We are just kidding around, aren't we Regi?"

He tighted him up for a sec to get his attention.

"Ah haaa.....y-yeah...kidding around..." ^^;

With most of the students now on campus ground they were gathering for the openning ceremony. Excitement was in the air and soon enough the speakers blarred to life with a crackle, all students receiving their official welcome and the start of the new year.

One of the guys started yelling at the strange girl.

"What the hell do you think you are doing on school grounds? You are going to get someone hurt with that, are you crazy?"

"Yeah what if you had blindsided us? How's about an apoligize, huh?"

"Dude screw that, let's jsut get a guard or a teacher, they'll take good care of her."

"Forget it."

The guy holding Regi in a headlock pipped up to calm down his friends.

"I don't wanna be late on my first day because of a stupid faunus."

He walked off with the guys following him, but not before yelling back to her.

"You got lucky this time but you better watch it next time cuz we ain't gona be so nice."

The two guys walked off as well after glaring at her.

Welcoming bells rang all over Becon to greet the new students coming in. The first of the air ships were already landing, giving the freshmen their first taste of life in Becon. The bells however were not jsut for them, this was it, the exciting start of a new semester. Everybody looked excited and in a hurry to get somewhere. A perfect chance to study, have fun, make friends, this was awsome.

"Man, no wonder people work so hard to make it here. This place looks awsome."

Regi looked in awe, he had never been to a place like this before and he was on his own for the first time like ever so he was not sure yet what to make of it all. Either way, no point standing around. WIth a few grunts and struggles he tried to pull himself out of the trash can he was dumped in. Unfortunatly his efforts were in vain, the only thing he managed to achieve was tip it over.

"Uh oh....."

Regi screamed as the trashcan tumbled down with him in it. He was on a good half minute ride before finaly crashing to a full stop. After shaking off the dizzyness and getting up he examinned the trashcan after setting it back up. Good thing it was empty but it took a beating. That trashcan was well dented and maggled, it had seen shit back in it's day, Regi felt a little bad, it was kind of his fault it ended up like this anyway.

"............"

Suddenly he bend forward and lost his breakfast in the trashcan. The msot delayed motion sickness ever, adrenalin must have been calming his stomach down.....not a very good start to the day. After colelcting himself and cleaning off his dirt and stains he was back on track. Down the road were most of the new students were passing through.

"Heeeeey, Regi, ha ha, what are you doing here?"

A guy laughed when he saw Regi, flanked with two of his friends. The guy that stuffed him in the can in the first place put Regi in a headlock.

"You don't wanna be late on your first day do you? Come on let's go."

"Ha ha,,,,,,,sure......" ^^;
