Amphi decided to relax, people put prisoners in cages and locked rooms not doctor huts. She looked at the one who fell from the tree" So human, what do they call you, and why did you wait for me to wake up? you could have just left me here." Neither of them looked very scary up close. Amphi smiled shyly back, He seemed friendly, nice even. " I'm sorry, it must have been quite the inconvenience to carry me here. So thank you...and i'm sorry i was so rude, I've never met a human before." She felt embarrassed, lots of mermaids have met humans and knew how to interact with them, she felt awkward, and to think she was going to try and hit them on the head with a stick!

Amphi let out a sigh of relief So she's alright, and she isn't here. She got away and she's alright."My name is Amphi." She said in practically a whisper. "So, what's going to happen to me? Will I be enslaved, Or will you keep me alive and torture me? Because...i'm pretty sure if you wanted me dead, i would already be dead." A tear rolled down her face. "Why can't you just leave my people alone, we didn't do anything to you...except for you i suppose." looking at the wounded one. She could see why he'd be mad.

Amphi started to regain herself. The last thing she could remember was the human looking at her. She didn't dare open her eyes or move. Am I dead? I'm pretty sure i'm not worse at least. silently she counted her fingers...and toes, she was still in human form. Amphi didn't feel any injuries...but she could still be dead. She was even somewhere fairly comfortable, though it smelled a bit odd. And that's when she heard them. "Captain this girl is bad news, I was attacked by another girl with colorful hair like hers. she's dangerous." Humans! ...wait another girl?! Who was she and was she alright?! Was she here to? She heard someone laugh "This girl? She fainted at the sight of me! The doctor said she was fine. You here to get your leg looked at?" It was him! The one who fell from the sky. So he must have brought her here to see the doctor...But wait that makes no sense, why would you take a prisoner to a doctor? The other mermaid must have gotten him good. Amphi decided she needed answers. When the woman left she slowly opened her eyes and got up. "Is she ok? Where is she?" As long as the other one was fine there was hope.

Frozen in absolute terror with large tears rolling down her face Amphi was still curled up next to the tree. great. her worst nightmare has come to life. Humans were now falling from the sky. She couldn't move and she kept trying to breathe but no matter how much air she took in she felt as if she couldn't get any in. Her breath got quicker and quicker as panic started to overwhelm her. Everything got blury and her heart beat faster and faster until the world went dark. (she hyperventilated then passed out.)

"How do you even capture a human?!" Amphi was frantically pacing back and forth in the trees, it was always much easier to pace with legs. " Do you stuff them in a bag?" Making hand gestures as she thought aloud, almost completely oblivious to her surroundings. "Or maybe i'll hit them with a stick and tie them up, yeah that's good!" She stops dead in her tracks. "...but then how would i move them?...And what if they woke up?!" Amphi started pacing again her panic rising as she started to pull at her hair. She sighed and leaned against a tree, seeking any sort of stability. She reached out to a young sapling growing to her left, caressing its leaves, wishing that maybe one day she could be a tree. " I know i'm hopeless aren't I? I probably couldn't even get close enough to a human to hit them with a stick. I'd probably just run away like i always do." As the panic started to ebb away it was soon replaced with dread. "Gaahhh, it's the queen so I at least have to try, right? If i just gave up, it would be like giving up on our home. On the other hand if I did try i would probably end up captured and then what? Would I end up dead,...or worse?" Amphi curled into a ball, trying to hold herself together. "Maybe i'll just live out the rest of my life as a fish."
