Crash
Crash’s eyes drifted from Kathy to Zivon before back again, he felt his own mouth curve into a smile in response to her attempt. He felt better knowing they were ok...though he already knew they would be. As Kathy reached up towards him he pressed one of his eyes closed pulling a face as she flicked his forehead, he flinched lifting a hand to rub the abused spot comically. “Hmm...Deja vu” He stated, realizing how similar this situation was.”Worrying about myself is overated...you’re just going to have to accept that” He shrugged at her, flinching back to avoid a hand-to-face incident.
A feral growl ripped free of Crash’s chest as he felt the floor rumble again, glancing at Kathy he nodded curtly before he spun on his heel and shot out of the door running outside just as the plume of hellfire erupted overhead and a masked man appeared from the portal, roaring in rage to the sky. Crash felt a flood of fear pass over him at the mere sight of this masked villain and the sheer rage that seemed to accompany his presence, he clutched his chest dropping to one knee as he felt the darkness inside him react, constricting tightly...he stayed where he was, watching the villain with a snarl on his face. His eyes only straying to watch a boy walk over to the masked villain and take a place by his side.

Mercy
Mercy twirled out of the way her eyes drifting to check on the young girl from earlier, she felt a frown cross her face as she noticed the boy stood next to her...she of all people wasn’t one to judge the boy even though she could sense he was a demon, she felt concern wash over her as she noticed the girl was crying. Why was she crying? Can’t save them all...pick one to protect Mercy had allowed herself to become distracted enough so that the Archer’s next arrow hit her square in the face with enough force to rip her helmet from her face and send her reeling backwards as she flared her wings beating them hard enough to keep her airborne, she blinked in surprise at the Archer, swirling honey gold eyes setting him firmly in her sights Jammy little git...busted my helmet “Yeah you better run” Mercy growled drifting closer to the ground as the Archer retreated, she was still hovering when there was a loud boom, she felt her feathers ruffle at the sheet volume of power that passed through the air.
As the portal opened she instinctively lifted her hands, creating barely visible bubbles around the students...the small winged girl would have to share with the demon boy...but needs must and she didn’t deem him a threat, she touched down slowly as the fiery masked man appeared demanding to speak with their leader. She felt an unease rise in her as she glanced around at the scattered students she felt her courage waver, she was on her own out here...if something happened it was down to her to react, no more damsel in distress routines...She glanced over at the dark haired girl, watching her fall from grace three times over in the space of a minute under different circumstances that would have been very amusing.
Mercy had no idea what he was on about, she was as much of an intruder here as he was...She kept quiet looking at the students either side of her questioningly, that was when she caught sight of a familiar face a mixed feeling of relief and dread filled her as she took in Crash’s appearance. Oh no...no, no, no, no! Stay where you are... Mercy’s wings ruffled as she watched the red-haired shape shifter, collapse to one knee hoping that was all he was going to do. She pulled her eyes away from Crash long enough to glance at their ‘leader’ as she stepped forward, Mercy felt her mouth twist into a smile at the other woman’s words. Tease the angry demon? I do hope it ends better for you The short white haired woman had stirred a recent memory...Mercy looked on at the pair, watching the demon carefully. A sculpted eyebrow peaked up as the demon boy walked up towards the masked man of flame, she grit her teeth readying herself for anything...though she wasn’t quite prepared for what he did, in her eyes he’d walked over there and pretty much joined their ranks...That was...unexpected Mercy shifted closer to the young girl she had saved earlier, disliking the idea of her standing alone with these rather interesting gentlemen around.
