Callum had been buzzed about spending the summer with his friends at Elizabeth's place, pretty much since it had first been mentioned. He was in such a good mood he was convinced nothing could change it, even Alyx. He'd remembered agreeing to pick her up on the way over to Elizabeth's which was a plus. Unfortunately, he'd forgotten to warn her, he was running late. When he did finally pull up outside her house, he had his music whacked up unnecessarily high and rushed her into the car, well he tried to. Whether it worked or not was entirely up to Alyx, it was painfully obvious that the longer it took for her to settle into the car the more agitated Callum became. As soon as he heard the click of her seatbelt, he was off down the road.

The actual drive to the estate was a bit of a blur, Callum's eagerness to get them there had warped his opinion on speed limits just a little, so the journey wasn't as long as it should have been. It had still given Alyx plenty of time to take control of the radio and shoot insults at him, all of which he'd reacted to. By the time they'd reached the estate, he was struggling to think up decent come backs or insults of his own.

"Ha! We made it and in record time too" He announced as the old jeep pulled into the driveway(?). Now that they were here, he did have the sense to ease up on the throttle and drove slowly down to the house. "Now what do you think of my driving skills?" He asked with a smirk, not bothering to hide the fact that he was clearly impressed with himself even if Alyx wasn't. Parking up next to Loki's car, he released his seatbelt and pulled himself up between the roof bars so he could get a better view of the house and shout out a greeting to the two siblings by the door "Yo, Loki! Rose!"
Providing that this is okay with you Roze ^^' just wanted to say, Callum's going to drive himself over to the estate and I figured he could potentially pick up one or two people on the way if that helps?

Have written up a small intro part which I'll put in a hider but the main part -arriving at the estate- could be altered a bit if someone wants to carpool and throw interaction straight into the mix from there.

If not, I'll put what I've got into the IC shortly ^^' Sorry for not doing this yesterday >.<

RS, done. For now anyway ^^' Let me know if you want me to change anything or if there are any problems.

@FaithsRose Lol. It's no problem. Glad to have you aboard! Callum looks great and is approved.

Thanks ^^ Sorry for not moving the CS over yet. An impromptu trip soaked up most of the day, so I haven't had a chance to finish up the relationship chart yet either >.<

Please don't let this hold anything up, if it does I'm really sorry, I'll be able to catch up asap after getting some sleep ^^'

Hi all :)

Might have to bump that number up to four guys now ^^'

@HylianRose, I apologise in advance may have gone a little overboard on the profile :S

Lux didn't move from his place as more people arrived, of course he recognised all of them and even remembered their names, putting names with faces he was good at. He remained where he was, watching a few of the others play with their powers, neither approached or really seen by any of them...well he did notice Ambrose look at him for a moment or two. Still, without Castor's larger-than-life presence, Lux found that he often blended into the background. 'I should apply for MI6...become a shadow agent' The thought amused him as he went to follow Gareth inside, hastily backtracking as he lurched back through the door. Lux lifted his hand to cover his nose and braced himself for whatever was inside that had upset Gareth's stomach.

The smell took him by surprise, assaulting his sensitive nose as soon as he got through the door, it made him thankful he hadn't eaten yet. Holding his nose as he walked towards the source of the smell, Lux made his way into the kitchen. He caught a glimpse of the source as Rohrbach deposited it in the bin before he moved further into the lounge. Still reeling from the assault on his olfactory senses, he sought out the nearest window to hover by, nodding in greeting to anyone who looked his way. 'Whatever he's made could be mistaken for an alien life form...and again I question how he is still alive' Lux thought as he looked Rohrbach over.

With that question in mind, Lux pulled his backpack round his side, unzipped it and began to rummage through it, after a moment he pulled out two brown paper bags. Leaving the doctors answer to someone else he dropped his backpack, he approached the coffee table(?) at the center of the chairs and placed one of the bags down before offering the other to Rohrbach "This should take the edge off" He told Rohrbach, opening the bag a little to reveal a large sausage roll. "It's all I've got with me except for a salad pot" Lux coupled his words with a shrug of his shoulders before turning and pointing at the bag on the table "Cookies, help yourself". Three full sentences...that was a lot for him.

He waited for Rohrbach to decide whether to accept or deny his offer before he moved back over to the window to perch on the edge of the sill. Once he was comfortable he pulled a bottle of water out of his bag and took a swig, looking down into the bottle he quietly swished it's contents around, silently wishing he was back in the water 'Just need to get through this...'
Post a posted ^^ Sorry for not being about this week, haven't been very well!

Know the chat about roommates was a while back and random choices were voted out but just wanted to say don't mind where Lux ends up, all depends on if anyone feels their character can put up with him really ^^'

Lux's favourite place to be was in water, he didn't neccesarily care where said water was providing it was to some degree sanitary. Instead of heading to the dinner hall like most of students did, he had gone straight to the pool after his last lesson, to do a few lengths and relax before heading over to Rohrbach's lab. Even with the knowledge that he'd have to make a move soon, he was on his back floating aimlessly around the quiet pool, normally his thoughts would be peaceful but today they were unsettled, no doubt due to recent events.

'Life is like being on a river, it's flow is continuous and unforgiving, one minute you're skimming along on top of it, the next you're struggling to keep your head above the surface...it's not going to stop to let you get your bearing, it's not going to warn you when it suddenly veers off to the side or drops you in the rapids, it's just going to keep flowing and drag you along for the ride'

He opened his eyes as someone splashed into the pool not far from him, disturbing the water and sending ripples across the surface. With a heavy sigh he pushed himself under the water before spinning and darting to the side of the pool. 'Life is like a river? As if that one hasn't been used before...English homework of all the things to be thinking about right now Lux, you choose English homework' He scolded himself as he resurfaced next to a few students sitting on the side.

"Yo Lux! You missed a pretty awesome meal" One of the students on the side told him.

Lux merely shrugged his shoulders and pulled himself out of the pool, lifting his hand to wave goodbye before making his way to the changing rooms. 'That guy functions like clockwork' He thought to himself hitting the showers before hastily throwing on some clothes and grabbing his backpack, he still had plenty of time to get to Rohrbach's lab. His predictable associate was usually the first in and the first out of the dining hall and today was the day he always turned up at the pool, reminding Lux he needed to get a wriggle on. Though Lux rarely spoke to his personal alarm clock, he was one of many people that Lux passively used around the university, be it to warn him of time constraints or other trivial things.

With his mind whirring with the days events and plans for the following day, Lux made his way over to Rohrbach's lab. He was in light canvas three quarter lengths with a plain turquoise t-shirt on and a pair of white sneakers which were more of a last minute thing, he much preferred sandals or flip flops or no shoes at all. Wet blotches had appeared on his t-shirt where he'd failed to dry his torso properly and water clung to his hair, making his collar damp as well. He'd barely registered the buildings he'd passed on his way and only really came out of his trance when he came across Rohrbach's lab, with a small sigh he tucked his hands into the pockets of his jeans and glanced at Penelope, nodding at her as if to acknowledge her presence before he glanced at Eastwood and did the same. He may not have been the most talkative but he still had manners, once he'd acknowledged Eastwood he looked back at the front of the building, quite happy to wait for someone else to lead the way in, he was certainly in no rush.

Lux's powers were fairly difficult to coerce out of him, his personality often worked against him and he was one of the scarce few, or even perhaps the only one that didn't enjoy utilising his ability at all. Adrenaline rushes that had a chance of making him angry, neon light that made him stick out like a sore thumb...then there was the whole hero thing, none of them were entirely his cup of tea. Which was hard considering most teas were his cup of tea...which he'd been told was stereotypical despite the facts he'd pointed out about tea and it's consumpption. His mind went to strange places when he was near Rohrbach's lab...usually to stop him from thinking about what was to come next. 'Imagine all of the people who would die for a chance like this and here I am...being stereotypical and whining about it' despite his thought process he didn't feel guilty about the fact at all.

Crash noticed that Kathy's smile had vanished, though he didn't quite cotton on as to why. If anything he thought it was because Little Feather hadn't returned with him, the Lakota had spoken highly of Kathy and even helped...'Probably shouldn't mention that right now' He tilted his head as he thought on her question "And Lion for a while...though we lost him before we could find Feather's people. He did it to keep Feather alive, after that she lost her powers...which is why she hasn't come back here I guess" He replied, thinking his explanation for her absence would cheer Kathy up a little. "I mean she still might show up, if we're lucky" He grinned, again meaning to lift her spirits rather than dampen them but...

The shapeshifter nodded his head, giving Kathy a questioning look as he registered her surprise at his words. He couldn't quite keep his apprehension in check as his mind flooded with doubts, if she'd received the text then why was she so surprised by what he'd said...He inhaled sharply as she told him she'd changed her number and before he said anything else he brought his hand up to lightly tap his forehead. "You changed your number...I didn't realise you'd changed your number" He mumbled, caught in between feeling relieved and agitated by this new piece of information 'She wasn't ignoring me...' not that it'd stopped him searching for her throughout his travels..."I didn't get a text but I did kind of...break my phone around that time. It took a while to fix and I had to change the sim, I've only got your old number" He admitted pulling out his phone to show her the number he had, at the same time hoping she wouldn't notice he'd of had to memorize it to put it back in his phone.

Having got himself back in his chair, he gave Kathy a bashful grin "Three's the magic number, won't happen again" for most people this may have been true but when it came to Crash, Murphy's law often overrode the other rules. Having already forgotten what he'd actually signed up for that year, Crash couldn't help but hope he hadn't been put down for maths 'Ryuu as a teacher would be fun, if not slightly odd...but maths? I think he'd end up killing me' Crash decided, though thinking about it he had a feeling maths had been on his list of classes...'Ah, I didn't recognise him before...must be Criston though' In typical Crash fashion he didn't linger on the nightmare of maths for too long, he squinted with his good eye to get a better look at Criston's face. 'Definitely him...he looks different, then again doesn't everyone' Crash lurched forward as Criston took a tumble on the stairs and inhaled sharply when he disappeared in a puff of smoke '...Even makes tripping look classy' he thought with a small smile.

As people begun to chatter around them, Crash considered getting to his feet and leaving with the others...then again it'd be better for the safety of all if he waited a while. Leaning back in his seat he turned to look at Kathy, tilting his head to the side as he caught her frowning. He was just working up the courage to ask her what she was thinking, among other things when she turned back to him with glowing red cheeks, feeling as if he'd been caught staring Crash sat up and nervously flattened his hair, blinking at her as she started talking. He lifted an eyebrow at the neck rub trying not to smile, considering how nervous she seemed to be, but failing miserably. And though he wasn't getting his hopes too high, he had an inkling of what was coming next.

Crash's smile grew as Kathy spoke, he felt a strange yet vaguely familiar feeling flush through him and it was his turn to flush with embarrassment. "I-I'd really like that" He murmured, clearing his throat and saying it again a little louder to make sure she heard him before adding on "I'm not in a rush, I mean I should probably move my bike and change out of this gear before going anywhere...especially a party" He responded with a bright grin. "Are you living here or off site?" He asked getting to his feet or rather bouncing to his feet, catching himself he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck and carefully moved out from between the chairs. "If you like I can walk you to yours first though?" He offered, unwilling to leave just yet...

Rain was respectfully silent throughout all the introductions, lifting her right leg to elegantly position it over her left, the werewolf adjusted her dress according and leant back in her chair. Lifting a hand up she absently twirled her hair around her fingers, occasionally touching the braid hidden behind her ear. 'Maths? Fashion? Computers? These things sound familiar and yet I haven't the faintest idea about any of them...ask me how to track a deer in the fall, no problem. Ask me a...maths thing, the most I can tell you is it involves numbers...though maybe I know a little more than that. A good Beta would know more' Though Rain listened to everyone talk, her eyes only stayed on the stage whilst Carmen was up there, the form switch was so unexpected it made her wonder what was to come next.

Once the announcements were all done and rolled out, Rain couldn't help but let out a relieved sigh. It wasn't that she wasn't impressed with the show, or at least aspects of it, it was more to do with the fact...she hadn't been to one like this before. The energy had been different, no one had really insulted anyone else and the real killer for her was the complete lack of violence. "Not even a speck of blood spilt...is every assembly going to be like this?" Rain asked, not that she directed her question to anyone in particular. 'The bird trick wasn't half bad though' She admitted in her thoughts, getting to her feet, she stretched out her limbs and turned to look at Ara and Aurelia, providing they were still with her.

"Maybe the party will be different" She commented, a part of her hoped it would so that she'd feel more settled, but another small part of her hoped it wouldn't. "It also reminded me, I love parties or gatherings...didn't think to mention it before" She admitted. Rain was becoming a little more comfortable with her social skills now, it was either becoming easier or she was beginning to care less about what she was saying. "I'm all for exploring but I am dressed for a party" She started, taking a moment to look down at the dress she was in, she smoothed it down before passing her fingers through her hair. "I'd imagine it'd be worth checking out, want to go?" She asked, so far she'd enjoyed being around Aurelia and Ara so she wasn't in a hurry to leave them behind.
