See all I think of when I watch this, is Jeff Dunham's act with Peanut and José in Spark of Insanity, 'One of these things just doesn't belong here' <.< (Don't click that if ventriloquists freak you out...Peanut is a white and purple monkey thing and José is a Jalapeño on a stick)

So thought I'd best say 'hi' after throwing that in there <.<'

I know liferusher, who checked over the CS before I dropped in ^^

Appearance details: 5'6, 128.8 pounds, amber eyes (in certain light), Scar on her right eyebrow

Name: Saqui Shikoba ‘Favourite Feather’

Nicknames: Feather, Little Feather, Shiko.

Age: 17

Element: Wind/?

Personality: For an air elementalist, Feather is a grounded person. She isn't your typical air-head, she's perceptive, stable and in some cases rather intuitive. She's patient and for the most part amicable, though that's not to say you can't get a rise out of her if you play your cards right.

She's a restless spirit, subconsciously searching for something. Not that she could tell you what she's looking for or why. She's inclined to wander off and is naturally curious of pretty much everything. So curious in fact that she'll be one of the first to enter a dark cave in search of answers, with little regard for her personal safety. Brave or stupid, either way she's too stubborn to give into her fear and has been known to get into a few tight spots because of it.

Alongside this she's a very trusting person and is easily lead astray by the people around her. She regularly disregards the saying 'once bitten, twice shy' and is generally willing to forgive and forget any misgivings against her. She prefers being in a crowd of people rather than just being around one other person, especially if she doesn't know them well, she tends to get nervous if she's monopolised.

She's very fond of her ancestral roots and their teachings, tries to follow them to the best of her ability and keep herself balanced.

History: Saqui Shikoba was born and raised in the Pine Ridge Indian reservation, she has spent the majority of her life there with her family. Her father often called her ‘Little Feather’ as she was growing up; she's always liked the nickname, though as she's got older she much prefers being called Feather. Her father runs a small trade that involves making pipe tomahawks and other ceremonial artefacts and symbols. He is also a talented earth elementalist with an impressive pedigree of elementalist ancestors, whom are all male. Her mother is a teacher at the local school teaching the Lakota language, though she isn't an elementalist some of her ancestors were. She has two older siblings a normal sister who married young and remains on the reservation with her husband and an elementalist brother who also remains on the reservation helping where he can and learning about his powers from his father.

Growing up, she was fascinated by the idea of controlling the elements and would often watch her brother and father when they trained. She's always spent a lot of time with her father, listening to his stories, learning what she could about her heritage and the spiritual beliefs of her people as well as whatever secrets he could share about his connection with the earth.

Considering that her elementalist ancestors have all been affiliated with earth, it took her and her family by surprise when she begun to show signs of being an air elementalist. Her father doesn't know much about the other elements and it was decided that she should attend the academy.

Feather is worried about leaving her home, she's accustomed to the way her community works and the safety of her family. But at the same time, she can't wait to discover what the academy holds.

Equipment: Two ceremonial pipe tomahawks, Ohitekah and Kohana.
(Both of which have been modified for use as training weapons within the academy)

Her flute, šung'manitu tanka.

If you have the Discord application you can use this "012paB0i3vFpWaFuu" (the discord server code) to join the room. If you have a browser, I believe you have to keep logging in and re-enter by getting a "permanent invite," but I highly recommend just getting the Discord app lol. It exists for both mobile and desktop so it doesn't hurt to get the thing.

I've got the desktop version of Discord downloaded already ^^ Unfortunately, it's the same on there, both the link above and the in app server join are saying that the invitation has expired or is invalid :/ Sorry, must have left it too long >.<

Hmm, I don't know what I've done but I seem to have lost the Discord chat ^^' And the link isn't working for me anymore...any chance I could grab another invite or advice on how to get back into the chat room? <.<'

Also sorry for not being about recently, found out that my exam tomorrow determines if I get to continue my degree o.o' had to activate study overdrive...with nearly all free time going into small pockets of -does nothing- to cool my brain down -.- ...I'll be back to normal after tomorrow ^^'

Crash had undoubtedly changed over the years yet, it was apparent that a lot about him hadn't, for example he was still terrible at picking up on social cues. With Kathy's vague response to his encouragement Crash was certain he'd hit the nail on the head, though he couldn't help but notice that she had seemed a little distracted by his words.

The shapeshifter's duelling emotions intensified as Kathy clasped her hands together and apologised '...I have a whole new understanding of the movies now' the stray thought, zipped out of the stream twisting through his mind. He lifted his free hand up to the back of his neck, giving her an awkward smile "I-it's okay. It's not entirely your fault. Pretty sure I can take most of the blame,-if not all of it- I should have been more careful" He apologised in turn. Smiling more easily as his phone vibrated and Kathy's text flashed up on the screen, with a few quick taps he sent back a simple 'I got it, don't worry :D' and chuckled as he saved the number. "Luckily, my number is the one thing I don't tend to change" With his words Crash double checked that he had her number saved before he pocketed the phone.

Code red was in full swing. Having noticed the flush of color on Kathy's face, Crash felt heat rise into his cheeks as well and a sensation of giddiness come over him...mainly because of the smile that had appeared on Kathy's face. It had been a while since his company had been appreciated "Great! I guess we should get going then" He announced, barely able to relax the 'smile' muscles in his face long enough too speak. With a warm sensation in his chest and a spring to his step, Crash hopped up and lead them out of the assembly hall and into the bustle of the corridors beyond it.

Crash tucked the tips of his fingers into the back pockets of his jeans as they walked, once again positioning himself so that Kathy was on his good side and he could see her. "I didn't chain it up, I just parked it out the front" He replied, though he didn't quite catch on to the confusion. "It should be fine...I didn't leave it in the way and I'm pretty sure nobody would want to steal it anyway. At least not here" He grinned "Plus I remembered to take the keys out of it this time" With that he reached into his pocket and pulled out a motorcycle key coupled with a worn orange surfboard key ring.

"Wait..." He murmured as the gears finally clicked into place and his face colored with embarrassment "I-I got a new -ahem- motorbike...n-not a push bike" He stuttered out, instantly feeling guilty for not realising the mix up sooner...that and a small part of him was expecting her to disapprove. 'Disapproval has been everyone else's go to place...' the small voice in the back of his mind reminded him as he glanced around in search of signs to the dormitory. "I know there are a lot of accidents relating to motorbikes but I've been driving them for years and I'm always extra careful...I've only had a...few close shaves." He told her, in an attempt to justify himself before she had the chance to react, be it positively or negatively. Though there was plenty of time for them to talk, between following sign posts and Kathy's instruction should Crash lead them wrong...it didn't take the pair too long to reach the dormitories.

Rain seemed particularly unsatisfied with Ara's answer in regards to the assembly "Well...this is my first and last assembly then" She decided. Between Ara's exaggerated sigh and unspoken 'but' and Aurelia stood glancing between them with a nervous look to her and the scent of a spooked deer, Rain sensed that she was going to be flying this one solo. A smile lifted the corners of her mouth as Ara politely passed on her invite "Shame, we'll let you know if you miss anything good" She promised with a smile, lifting her hand to bid Ara farewell as she walked away from. "Won't forget" Rain added with a small smirk, watching Ara leave before she turned back to Aurelia. "So Aurelia, are you with me on this?" She asked, looking Aurelia over curiously.

She had been...studying Aurelia's behaviour, since they'd met. And so far she hadn't been able to work out why the other girl was so quiet, not just in the speaking sense either but rather, she rarely gave herself away with her body language. "Not really sure what you're scared of, but if it helps I promise to watch your back" She added, trying not to show how taken aback she was by her own words "Trust me, nothing will get past me" and even more surprised by the determination in her voice. 'Sirius preserve me, I've been here for two minutes and I've gone soft...'. Rain wasn't exactly sure what she was offering to protect Aurelia from mind you, the image she had of a party in her mind was bound to be different from the reality of it...the assembly had proved as much.

Rain ran her fingers through her hair, waiting for Aurelia's answer. Unfortunately sitting through the assembly had all but drained her of patience so she didn't wait for long. "Come onnnn...we might be missing something good" She urged, glancing at Aurelia once more before promptly turning on her heel and making her way out into the corridor. Whether Aurelia followed her or not, Rain wasn't going to stop moving until she'd found the party. Which was easier than she'd expected, she was accustomed to following her nose but considering how busy this place was, the unfamiliar scent trails all merged together and lead in every direction. Instead she had to rely on her hearing which wasn't quite as effective but it seemed to do the job "Where's a vampire when you need one..." She murmured under her breath as she concentrated on the faint sound of music. It didn't take her long to find the party, thankfully.

Once she was there though, she found herself wondering what to do...it seemed rather quiet, excluding the music. '...this is going to take some getting used to' She thought, looking around the room. Her eyes caught on Carmen as she did, taking in the skylark's impressive form before moving on to inspect Lily and the rest of the group. "This could be harder than I thought..." She sighed, glancing behind her to see if she was alone or not.

Lux nodded at Rohrbach in response to his thanks, he was under the impression he'd used enough words for the time being, besides why talk when his actions were enough. 'Don't start analysing it' he reminded himself as he returned to his window perch. He watched the others chat amongst themselves and exchange pleasantries...well, perhaps pleasantries wasn't the ideal word. Lux didn't feel connected to anyone in the room, if anything he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd taken a wrong turn, accidentally stolen the real hero enthusiast's thunder 'Should have said 'stop' analysing it' with a shake of his head Lux turned his attention back to Rohrbach and took another swig of water.

'New? Great...' Just the mention of something new caused a ripple of nervous energy to pass through him, instead of focusing on the screen, he started to peel the label off of the bottle in his hand. Confident, Skills, Basement, simulation room, by the time Rohrbach had finished talking Lux had run out of label to peel, fastening the lid back on the bottle he dropped it into his backpack and followed the others downstairs. 'Either Rohrbach's still unpacking or there are big plans in motion' He thought, moving over to study a few of the boxes as they passed by them. 'Elevators...small spaces' Once he was in the control room, his nerves had kick started his battery. Moving to the most inconspicuous place he could find, Lux rubbed his knuckles against his palm, trying to ignore the orange hue coming off of his skin.

Despite his intense dislike of new things, Lux couldn't doubt the genius behind Rohrbach's idea. A safe place to test out their powers, find their limits. 'Cas would be all over this...a chance to figure out what we're going through' Unsurprisingly he didn't hop onto the mettle testing train with the others, especially after Gō renamed it the danger room. 'If the movies are anything to go by...this could get ugly' he folded his arms across his chest and watched on in silence as Rohrbach instructed Ambrose to enter the training room alone. Knowing it wasn't meant to be a group activity and that he could stay back to analyse some of the simulations, instantly eased his anxiety. Which in turn brought his heart rate down and allowed the orange hue to gradually fade away whilst he focused on what was happening in the training room.
Got caught by the unexpected ^^' Feel I should apologize for busting in on that interaction! A bit strained for time this evening though so I'm going to roll with minimal editing <.<' Sorry...

Callum's smile grew as Rose greeted him enthusiastically, he'd just lowered his arm when Alyx jabbed him in the ribs. With a yelp he tried to arch away from her and bring his arm down to protect his side, unfortunately as he did so he rammed his elbow against one of the roof bars. "Arrr, funny bone!" He exclaimed clutching his aching elbow and glaring after Alyx as she sauntered away from the car with her bag "Yeah, you better run" He muttered watching her join the two siblings by the door. Though he fully intended on getting his own back, Alyx's hasty escape prevented things from getting out of hand, rib jabbing would often be the starting point for a physical exchange.

With a grumble Callum rubbed his abused ribs and dropped back down into his seat. Taking the keys out of the ignition, he quickly pocketed them and glanced over at Sophie. "Hey Sophie!" He called out before he lifted himself up and swung out of the window...because using the door was clearly too much effort.

Landing with a crunch, Callum took a moment to take his sunglasses off and hang them on the front of his tank top before striding over to Sophie. He overheard her mumble about the books or movie but before reaching her Rose overtook him with two hearty skips. Callum stopped just next to two girls and looked over his shoulder at the house, silently amazed at the speed Rose had moved. Unfortunately he'd thought up something intelligent -Callum's version of intelligent- to say in response to Sophie's mumble and there was no chance in hell that he was going to be able to hold it in.

"On the movie side, this is almost perfect for a meet cute" He chimed in with a playful wink before signalling Sophie's bags and asking "Want some help with those?". Callum's chivalry was often reserved for the girls of the group, though he wasn't one to pass up an opportunity to show off. In this instance he saw a chance to help out a friend, as well as a chance to show off his 'guns'. Something he was happy to do whenever possible.
Sorry for the delay and quality of that post ^^' Laptop is dying on me, keeps blue screening >.< lost the post changes one too many times :( Thus the lack of banter or content. I can't get to a PC until tomorrow, but can try to rewrite it then if it's no use ^^'
