A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
It is a time of peace within the galaxy. The evil Sith Empire has been defeated, ending a long, brutal war. The brave Jedi, guardians of peace throughout the galaxy are victorious. The Republic prospers, expanding across the galaxy.
Unbeknownst to many, a dark cult, Okussus, has slowly amassed power in the far reaches of space. The group is lead by a powerful former Jedi master, turned Dark Jedi and has launched several raids on neighboring worlds. Fearing a panic across its systems, the Republic quietly implements a task force filled with chosen Jedi and handpicked Republic soldiers.
The evil cult has gathered its own forces, skilled mercenaries, bounty hunters and slavers alike have pledged their loyalty to Okussus. Several Dark Jedi that have left behind their former order have also taken up arms in the faction. The threat of this new group must be ended or the Republic risks entering into another destructive war....

The Rise of Okussus is a Star Wars RP taking place in the year 1028 BBY. The Sith have been defeated, and gone into hiding, the rule of two enacted. The Empire has fallen, and the Galactic Republic is an idea slowly being built, but that has not ended the threats to the peace of the Galaxy. Darkness can rise anywhere, at any time, and this time has taken the form of a Dark Jedi Cult on the planet Ashal deep in Wild Space. Players will be taking on the roles of either Jedi, and the Republic military seeking to thwart the Dark Jedi cult, or Dark Jedi, and the mercenaries/bounty hunters/Slavers working with the cult of Okussus.
Being that this RP is taking place in the Old Republic setting, there may be points that uses the Old EU (Legends) while at other points things stick to the New EU (Canon). Ultimately this Rp is created by myself, and @Heat and is a labor of love, we take a lot of stock in the Star Wars Universe considering ourselves true fans, and hope to share this with you as players to interact in one of the greatest Sci-fi settings ever devised. *Dancing, A skilled dancer, it accommodates her needs to blend in when trying to track down slave traders.
*Playing the flute, Besides dancing she picked up playing the flute to give her a stronger value for entertainment, plus the flute was perfect for disguising her lightsaber.
*Moderate force usage, She might not be Master Yoda, or a Skywalker, but through the tutelage of her Master she has come to have a decent degree of control over the force and what it is capable of doing.
*Shii Cho (Advanced), The first lightsaber form she was taught, she was required to learn this form extensively for the simple basics of lightsaber combat before she could learn any others.
*Soresu (Advanced), Upon completion of Shii Cho her Master thought it was pertinent for her to learn a technique useful against blasters, and thus trained her heavily in Soresu.
*Makashi (Beginner), Wanting to learn to at least have some semblance of defending herself from perhaps another force user her Master taught her some skills in Makashi, though this was never something she was trained extensively in.
*Piloting (Experienced), Her Master having a disdain for flying himself, taught her the basics of doing such, and enjoying the freedom of the task excelled in it.
Weaknesses: It stands to reason that without the official training of the Jedi Order Uushaya lacks the composure and self control a typical Jedi would have, she has been known to be rash, and to act with her emotions before thinking out a situation logically. She can also be rather trusting, enjoying the company of those that she considers friends she can often find herself with her guard let down, it has led to many situations that had a far more dangerous edge than necessary. Uushaya walks a thin line between light and dark, with what she hopes to achieve, and the way she goes about it she has to retain a degree of secrecy, and that means not letting those who might wish to do harm to her mission know her identity, this means she sometimes has to be a bit merciless in her actions, and that treads on the darkside, though she tries to keep killing as painless as possible.
History:
Early Life
Much of her early life Uushaya has forgotten, or did she ever really remember, it doesn’t matter as it isn’t important to what has shaped her into the ‘Jedi’ she is today. It started when Uushaya was kidnapped by slavers from Ryloth, and during her transportation to the outer rim said Slavers were actually attacked by pirates, Uushaya not wanting to switch hands of captors hid, and hid well she did, as the pirates scoured the ship she remained unnoticed, and while this meant she would remain free from the hands of the wicked, it also meant she was alone, drifting through space in a ship that she had no idea how to pilot. It was by the will of the force that a Jedi Knight by the name of Aphron Po would sense a presence in the force upon the drifting slaver ship, and stop to find the source of said senses. Upon finding the young Twi’lek girl Po knew that she would be important to him, and so took her, and told her that she was able to use the force, and that she had the choice to either train under him, or he would return her to Ryloth.
It wasn’t a far-fetched thing for a child who had been through such a traumatizing event to want to gain the abilities to make a change in the Galaxy, and to be trained to become a legendary Jedi held quite a bit of weight with the young mind. And so her training began, day in and out Po trained Uushaya keeping her on her toes, and all the while he would have her keep an eye on the ship while he went out to thwart what wicked activities he could, working as a secret police of the good when he could and training her at all other times. As she got older, and her skills became more profound, her power with the force flourishing, Aphron would begin to take her on missions, letting her to get to know the places that the slaves would end up at. It was at these locales that Uushaya learned her skills to dance, the natural fluid movements of her twi’lek race making it incredibly easy for her to pick up the skills, and she further enjoyed spending time with cantina bands and ended up with a flute that she enjoyed practicing much to Aphron’s dismay during his meditation.
Being a Jedi
With age and experience came more responsibility and Uushaya began accompanying Aphron on more and more dangerous missions, stopping slave trafficking when they could, there was even a point when during the midst of a battle a drunk gambling dug was shot in the face by a slaver since he shouldn’t have been there. Things seemed ever the more on the up in Uushaya’s eyes as they continued to have success after success against the wicked trade in sentients, and the news of the rebellion going well brought even more comfort to the thought that one day the Jedi might be able to come out of hiding. Unfortunately the good feelings could only last so long, a darkness would come upon the pair of Jedi soon, and it would come down on them with the force.
Unknown to the pair they had interrupted a deal between an Imperial agent and several slavers, the slavers had been killed, but the Imperial agent had escaped in the chaos. Reporting that two Jedi were in fact in the Outer Rim. An Inquisitor, accompanied by twenty storm troopers were dispatched to find and destroy the Jedi, and it would be on Nar Shadaa that this task was almost accomplished. Ambushing the pair in a hangar the two would have been doomed had it not been for a group of smugglers who began opening fire on the death troopers thinking they had been tracked down for taking illegal transporting Imperial Goods. By the end of the conflict all the Imperials lay dead, as well as the smugglers, and Aphron was minus an arm. Knowing now they were compromised and Aphron being at a disadvantage he did what he considered the best option and took their ship and left the system, leaving a trail so that the Empire would follow him.
Uushaya now alone would take the Smuggler’s ship since they weren’t using it anymore, and set off across the Outer Rim once more, continuing the mission that Aphron and her had been previously on, to save as many from becoming slaves as possible. Uushaya would also hold out hope that Aphron would return and the Jedi Order be rebuilt.

Zootopia, Noir
The radio buzzes to life, the sound of the dispatcher coming through clearly enough, the crackling barely distorting the audio. “All units we have a domestic disturbance in the downtown district, Fifth and Charles. We need a unit to respond.” The furred paw of a rabbit reached up and Judy Hopps replied in kind. “This is Unit One Zero Three, en route.”
“Ten, four Officer Hopps.”
Judy flipped the sirens as she spun her squad car around, Nick glancing over to her. “I was ready to eat.” He said with a frown. “Well you can eat after Nick, we got work to do.” The squad car burned down the road, and within minutes was at the location. As the car pulled to a stop there was nothing in sight, no disturbances, not even a citizen on the street. “Judy this seems strange. Usually dispatch isn’t wrong.”
Judy’s ears would raise up as she exited the squad car Nick following suit, each of them put their hands on the firearms they had recently been issued due to the spike in violent crimes in Zootopia. “Ni-“ She stopped though and stared at four heavily armed Hyenas, they were carrying rifles, and had their weapons ready to fire.
“Well well, if it isn’t the hero cops, just who we were hoping would show up, though really any cop would have done, they all make the same statement when dead. They leveled their weapons at Judy, and as their fingers were moving over the triggers, Nick moved quickly and put himself in front of his partner, grabbing her close so that the extra layer of Kevlar and his body might protect her as the bullets ripped through his body and pounded into her. Unfortunately it was not enough several of the rounds passing through them both, and Judy could only stare as Nick died, and fell atop her, she could feel the burning in her body where the bullets had passed through and stared as one of the hyena’s walked forward and aimed a pistol at her face. “Night night rabbit.” The weapon went off and everything went black for Judy.
I’m sure you have all seen Zootopia, but this is not your typical Disney film, Zootopia is a changed place after the events of the movie. The chaotic backlash is a result of the more, and more nefarious criminals, the police force of Zootopia not trained to deal with such had to call in help. This help came in the form of a NAP Taskforce (National Animal Police) who had been trained to deal with such criminals in less upstanding cities than Zootopia. They have been assigned to bring this shining city of Civilization back to it’s prime. You are part of that Taskforce, you will be playing an animal sent to Zootopia to save it from corruption, drugs, and violence.
