There was a bit of a discussion in the Interest Check on whether or not Sakura would be an appropriate character to use in this kind of setting. Ultimately, it's up to the GM to decide whether or not she would fit this universe. If she doesn't, then I'll either work on making a few tweeks to justify her being there, and if she just doesn't have a good place in this RP, I'll choose someone else.
It's also a good point that she probably shouldn't have all of her cards. It would probably be a good idea to give her a limited number of cards for the purpose of this RP. For example, I honestly wouldn't use The Time card because that'd be way too OP.
Name: Sakura Kinomoto

Age: 10

Appearance: She has short brown hair with green eyes. She usually wears her casual clothes, or her school uniform on school days. When she has to fight, she is usually given an outfit by her best friend Tomoyo. Even though they serve little purpose other than hiding her identity, and the occasional water protection, Tomoyo insists that she wears them so she can film her in the outfit.

Powers and Abilities: Sakura is a user of the Clow Cards. She is on a quest to collect them, and at the moment has about six cards: Windy, Fly, Shadow, Watery, Wood, and Rain. Each card has its own abilities. She can also sense magic and is exceptionally athletic on her own abilities.

Brief desc.: Elementary school student Sakura Kinomoto is a cheerful, energetic girl who lead a normal life. Sometimes she is a little dense or a little clumsy, but her friendly nature makes it easy for her to talk to people and befriend them. Her mother died when she was very young, so she doesn't have a lot of memories about her. From what her father's told her, she sounded like a wonderful person. A few of her friends are Tomoya, who loves to make dresses for her to wear and record them on her video camera; Yukito, who she talks with on the way to school and has a crush on; and Kero, who helps Sakura with her duties of collecting the cards.
Okay, so I've boiled my choice down to either Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura, Lettuce from Tokyo Mew Mew, or Luna from Day Break Illusion.
Having all the characters reside in the same place would be convinient. I can't think of any specific canons where not being in the place where they live in-canon would mess things up. This way, all the different characters have easy access to each other.
I can also play a villain along side the canon character if we need more villains.
I'm going to RP a canon character. I find myself leaning towards playing the role of Sakura, but I'll keep my options open just in case.

Possibly interested, if I can think of an idea. Unfortunately, the only magical girl series I can think of that I've seen/read are Cardcaptor Sakura (and Sakura would probably be kind of difficult to play with monsters that actually need to be fought and killed) ...

It's true that Sakura hasn't ever needed to kill a monster, but the possibility of her fighting wouldn't be too out of the question. For example, she has the Sword Card and her elemental cards (Windy, Watery, etc) to help her fight, and cards like dash and fly could help her move out of the way of incoming attacks. The only thing I could imagine being a challenge in terms of using her for this crossover is her character. More specifically, she's never had to fight enemies the likes of what usual Magical Teams have to put up with. I think writing for her in this crossover would actually be pretty fun because it puts the character out of her element.
Hello internet. If you're reading this sentence, that means you're interested and/or morbidly curious about this specific interest check. I'm also certainly sure that if you're reading this, you have a pretty good idea what the Magical Girl genre (or sub-genre) is.
I'm also fully willing to do other kinds of 1x1 RP with people. I'll go into more detail with that down the line. If you're interested in doing an RP that isn't a Magical Girl deal, feel free to PM me and we can discuss things further.
Before I start listing off canon RP's and original ideas, I want to share a few things:
------
Things you should know about me before we get started:

1) I'm fairly new to the whole 1x1 crowd, even before the site went down. From what I've seen, there are a lot of RP's that are based around a certain pairing, like Werewolf/Vampire, or Scientist/Assistant. I'm just going to put this out now: Romance is not required for any 1x1 I would host. I'm pretty neutral to romance in RP's, so if you're interested in RP and absolutely do not want any romance, just let me know.
2) I'm looking for committed, long term RP partners. No, I don't expect a response every day, and I won't bug you constantly about wanting the next response. We all have lives, I understand. Life comes first. The absolute worst I would do is give you two or three reminders if it's been longer than a week since the last response. If something comes up or you can't participate in the RP anymore, please let me know.
3) When I was in school, I was taught that a paragraph is five or six complete sentences. If you don't feel like writing a ton that day, that's fine. fix or six complete sentences are perfectly acceptable.
4) Lastly, I want to get to know you better. I'm not talking super inseparable BFF's levels of closeness, but it's always nice to talk to someone new. I like to think of this as a team effort, so if you have any ideas that you'd like to share with me, go right ahead.

Right, so with that out of the way, lets talk about the thing I'm sure you're more interested in.

Magical Girl RP
Since this is the title of the Interest Check, it makes sense to cover this first. Anyways, I am open to both Canon and Original Magical Girl RP's.
Here are a few of the shows I have watched, just to give you an idea of what I'm most familiar with if you wanted to do a Canon RP:
Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Lilpri, Day Break Illusion, Futari Wa Pretty Cure (currently watching Max Heart), Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya, Magical Play, Twin Angel, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Marvelous Melmo, and a little bit of Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. Of course, if there's another show or manga that you'd be interested in RP'ing but wasn't listed here, I'm open to suggestions.

Even though I'm totally open to Canon RP, my preference rests in original RP's. I had a few ideas for Magical Girl scenarios. Three to be exact:

1) Jammers: Several light years away from Earth, there are a race of Aliens on the planet Horuma known as the Saburn. They have the ability to mimic other species, so they spend their time studying all the different life organisms from around the universe. Other than that, Horuma is known primarily as a tourist pit stop. This is one of their most vital assets for income, but there is a faction of the Saburn who aren't happy with this lifestyle. When they seceded from their kind, they became known as the Brux. Then, a planet scale war raged on for years until the resources of the planet bled dry. With most of the planet in shambles, it began to collapse in on itself. The Brux managed to escape just fine, but the Saburn were not so lucky. With nowhere to call home, the Brux look for another planet to conquer so they can show the galaxy that they are a threat to be feared. However, one Saburn survived. As the last of his kind, he makes his way to Earth, which happens to be the Brux's target, and takes with him special pendants. Now, he has to find others to wield the pendants and become the new Guardians of the Saburn: the Jammers. The Jammers are fruit themed and are given a weapon that they can channel their elemental energy through. Their opponent, the Brux, are insect themed.

2) DreamWeavers: Around the world, an epidemic is spreading. People are having more nightmares and getting less sleep. People are becoming more on edge, they have less focus, and people are finding it harder to do their jobs. Scientists are baffled because they can't find out why this is happening. Some people think this is very real, while others think that the "epidemic" is nothing more than the media blowing hot air about some people not getting a good nights rest. The real cause of these nightmares is actually found in a parallel dimension. It is the DreamRealm, a place where the dreams people have are made and a place where people go when they dream. The Nightmare Army (working title), lead by Erebus, have marched their forces over the lands of the DreamRealm. Now, with only one area of the world remaining, the protectors of the DreamRealm have no other choice. Morpheus, son of Nyx the creator, has to call upon the Champions (working title) to help take back what is theirs. The champions will enter the DreamRealm at night to help the fight, and by day they are all around the globe, unaware of each other's presence. The world of the DreamRealm is themed after Greek Mythology.

3) This one is more Slice of Life than the other two. There is a travelling circus who have been all over the country. Their main attraction is a two person magician performance, who are both magically gifted. The other circus members don't resent them for their popularity because they all treat each other like family. One day, the ring leader shares the terrible news that their lifestyle can't go on forever because they don't earn enough money to support themselves. They make the tough decision of settling down in a quiet town to find high paying jobs and assimilate into society. The two magicians, who only know the circus life, are put in a school to have a proper education and to make new friends outside of their circus circle. They are also told not to reveal their magical powers to anyone. This idea is still fairly fresh, and needs some fleshing out. This RP would probably be more heavy on character development than the other two. That isn't to say that the other two won't have a lot of character development, it's just that this one would make that its focus.

Also, if you like to play a lot of characters, I'm giving you that option too.
You can have as many supporting characters as you'd like, but in regards to the teams, we can either do a two person team (one character for each of us if you're more comfortable with that), a four person team (two for each of us), or a six person team (three for each of us).
If you have any ideas regarding the ideas I've pitched or any ideas you might have had, feel free to share them with me.

Other kinds of RP
I'm also open to other RP's. In regards to canon, some of the other series I'm interested in and more familiar with are as follows:
Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, One Piece up to the Alabasta Arc because I'm still watching it, Phoenix Wright, Pokémon, Gurren Lagann, Kirby, and Smash Bros?
Again, if you had an idea for one that you wanted to do that wasn't listed here, let me know. I'm sure there are other's that I'd be willing to do that aren't coming to my head right now.

For original RP's, I'm open to Fantasy Adventure, Slice of Life, Romance, Sci-fi adventure, and Super Heroes. I don't have any specific ideas to share. My DreamWeavers idea from before could easily be tweeked and work as a Fantasy Adventure type RP if you aren't interested in a Magical Girl RP.

If any of what I've said interests you, send me a PM and we'll talk things out. Thank you for taking the time to read through all of my ramblings...unless you skipped all of that and scrolled straight to the end.

I'd rather not limit people on what sources they get their characters from since there is so much more Magical Girl stuff than what's popular. Not to mention the magical girl series created outside of Japan such as Winx Club and W.I.T.C.H.So I say go with anything that is usually classified as magical girl. It may cause a bit more melding for the melting pot, but I'm sure I can work something out.

Fair enough. That opens the possibilities up considerably.
Yes! I love the sounds of this. One big Magical Girl crossover.

In terms of idea pitching, I prefer the melting pot setting where all the canons are together, and I could go either way with Canon villains or OC villains. Same goes for Magical Girl/Boy OC's
Also, what pool of Magical Girl shows would we be dealing with? I would imagine some of the more popular series would be included, like Sailor Moon, Precure, Tokyo Mew Mew, Madoka, etc.
