"Kero? Can I ask you something?" Sakura was standing in front of several mirrors while wearing another one of Tomoyo's dresses. Pink dress, lacing underneath, white gloves, red shoes...it was an awfully cute dress. These decorative wings were a lot heavier than she thought they would be. Nothing that she couldn't handle, just a little surprising.

"Ask away!" Kero shouted happily as he continued to take bites out of his strawberry cake. "Mmmmm~".

"Well...you know how there have been more recent attacks on the city, right?" She walked over to the table and took a seat. Tomoyo, who was out of the room for a bit, entered the room carrying a tray with tea cups and a freshly brewed kettle of tea. "Do you think these attacks have anything to do with the Clow Cards?" Upon hearing that, Kero lowered his fork and began to think hard about that.

"I can't say for sure...I mean, it could be possible. Most of the cards aren't violent in behavior...well, most of the time anyways". The little plush toy looking lion wiped some frosting off of his cheek, then went to rubbing his chin. "But, we can't rule out the possibility that the two might not have something to do with each other. It might be a good idea to do some scouting, just in case".

"Okay" The brown haired girl picked her tea up and took a sip. "Maybe I can do something to help, too. I don't want to see my home destroyed".

"That's awfully dangerous business you're getting into, Sakura". Kero warned, floating up to her face. "Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"Sakura is the most capable girl I know" Tomoyo took this moment to speak up. She sipped her tea before speaking again. "Besides, it's not as though she'll be out there alone. There are a lot of other people out there fighting to protect our way of life. Who knows? Sakura might even make a new friend or two out there".

"Well...you have a point" Kero noted cautiously. "Well...lets have a scouting mission tonight, just to see how it goes".

"Sure, that's fine with me" Sakura finished her tea.

"How about you two come meet me here at seven pm?" Tomoyo brought up. "I can give you everything we need to keep in touch with each other, and..." She brought out a video camcorder from under the table. "I can video tape you on your exciting adventures, wearing my outfits!" Sakura's friend seemed very excited about that, to which she could only smile in a worried and nervous way.

"T-Tomoyo..."

The Generals are a part of the Dream Realm, like everything else there, but a couple of the more powerful generals could be humans brought into the DreamRealm like the others by the Nightmare Army.

We enter a clearing in a forest to see a small village with buildings that lined up along the sides of the cobblestone streets. There were about two dozen different buildings in this area with residents going about their day. Said residents were multicolored animals with star markings somewhere on their body. Overlooking this peaceful little scene was a castle of modest size. The highest tower had a giant telescope coming through the roof, the lens pointed towards the sky. Inside that tower was an astrology room of sorts. The stone walls were lined with various clocks depicting different time zones. There was a tall, beak masked cloaked figure using the telescope. Said figure was shaking his head in disappointment. "This can only end in disaster..."

The wooden door creaked open, and a yellow penguin squeezed his way in with a tray of tea cups and a kettle. This little guy was wearing a top hat and a monocle, and his white, feathery belly had a star mark over it. "Um...sir?" He said cautiously. "Your tea is ready". He waddled his way over to the man and set the tray down. "Honestly, how can you drink tea at a time like this?

"It helps the nerves, Hermes..." The tall figure took his cup and poured himself some tea. The sweet smell alone was enough to help him loosen up a little. "And in this time, we could use the help. It might be our last chance".

"Oh don't say it like that! You're Morpheus, son of the great goddess Nyx! If anyone can brighten this bleak moment, it would be you!". The penguin servant fixed his drink while he spoke, and then he gave Morpheus a serious look. "So what are we going to do? This is the last remaining quadrant. All the Nightmare Army would need to do is send a few troops over to claim this forest, and we would be gone. And if we're gone, who knows how Earth will cope with not being able to get a good night's rest".

"That's enough, Hermes" Morpheus said in a commanding voice. He took a sip of his tea, and regained his composure. "We're left with no other choice. Mother told me never to use this unless the situation was severe..." The beak masked man took a look out the window to see the treetops of the surrounding forest. Just beyond the boundaries of these woods were dark, stormy areas. An evil energy rose from those areas like steam, and gathered in the sky to form deep crimson clouds. "And this situation is of the upmost severity". Morpheus walked over to a framed picture of a map of this world and took it down to reveal a hidden safe. After dealing with the safe's many locks, he pulled out a small wooden box, and handed it to Hermes. "We have to summon the Champions. Go to the Dream Pool and take four dream souls to become our new Champions".

The small penguin looked at Morpheus for a moment with a shocked look on his face. "My, that's a heavy responsibility to give to me. I swear I won't let you down!" Before he could make his way out of the room, his superior stopped him.

"Also...don't tell anyone else about the medallions or that we're summoning the Champions. The villagers are happy with their normal lives...lets not panic them with this".

"Yes sir!" And with that, Hermes ran out of the room and made his way through the castle.

"Good luck, Hermes..." Morpheus went back to looking through his telescope, which was set to Earth. He was currently looking at California, the clock for there saying that it's a quarter past three.

Awesome. While I write up the first IC post, I wanted to ask you of the possibility of playing villain characters. Most of the villains are Generals of the Nightmare Army who have control over a certain parts of the DreamRealm. They usually take on the form of General <insertgodorgoddesshere> to act as a code name, and then their actual name to give them something to be called by. If you're interested in playing some villains, I can whip up a CS for the generals that you can fill out later.

Name: Kathlyn (Katie) Brook

Age: 16

Personality: Katie is the kind of person who is very excitable. Her energy and enthusiasm are very palpable, but she only exerts this energy for things she likes. For everything else, she's mildly indifferent. One thing to note about Katie is that she's incredibly stubborn, trying to find solutions to problems on her own without listening to outside opinions.

Talents: She is one of the key players on the Swimming Team, being able to swim for long periods of time without tiring. She's also relatively athletic in other fields, but swimming is her true passion.

Hobbies: Katie likes to swim in her backyard pool, both for exercise and relaxation. She also reads comic books and owns a collection of various sea shells.

Family: Her mother is a Marine Biologist who works at the local aquarium. Every now and again she brings home a few gifts from the aquarium gift shop. Her father, on the other hand, works from home as a small time artist. He's also an incredibly talented chef...or rather, the only one in the household who can cook.

Appearance: Katie has medium length blonde hair and deep blue eyes, with a few freckles dotting her cheeks. She is 4'7" and has a petite figure. She wears a few different sets of clothes, but can mostly be found wearing a teal T-shirt, deep blue shorts, white knee socks, and white tennis shoes. She also has a locket in the shape of a sea shell that she wears every day.

DreamWorld Appearance: Her hair goes from being medium blonde to very long and cerulean. Her eyes remain deep blue, but she goes from being 4'7" to 5'4". She wears a dolphin hair piece, and her clothes change to become more combat oriented. She wears a teal sleeveless cloth shirt, a flowing skirt, black thigh boots, and pale blue elbow long gloves. The weapon she wields is a golden triton.

Around the world, an epidemic is spreading. People are having more nightmares and getting less sleep. People are becoming more on edge, they have less focus, and people are finding it harder to do their jobs. Scientists are baffled because they can't find out why this is happening. Some people think this is very real, while others think that the "epidemic" is nothing more than the media blowing hot air about some people not getting a good nights rest. The real cause of these nightmares is actually found in a parallel dimension. It is the DreamRealm, a place where the dreams people have are made and a place where people go when they dream. The Nightmare Army, lead by Erebus, have marched their forces over the lands of the DreamRealm. Now, with only one area of the world remaining, the protectors of the DreamRealm have no other choice. Morpheus, son of Nyx the creator, has to call upon the Champions to help take back what is theirs.

I might play as another canon character. Or a Villain. I'm going to wait to see if any more canon characters show up before doing that though.

She is. I didn't know where each character was going to start canonically, so I put her somewhere between the end of episode 70 and the second movie. My bad, I probably should have asked whether each character was starting at the beginning or somewhere else in their canon.
Starting off with about five cards sounds reasonable while getting more along the way sounds fair. I'll get to fixing that.
