Hi there :D

Newb here, trying to learn the ropes.

Jayden narrows his eyes as Cici mentions his and Elauna's past. "You don't know the entire story." His voice was tight and he sits next to her. "Besides, what other option does she have than to help me? And if not, I guess I'll become a personal healer." His mind once again began to think of all the problems going down at the moment.

Cici huffs as he sits down. She glances around warily before sitting down as well. "I know enough. I hear you guys arguing a lot. Something about something she did. Something about how she did it for you. Blah blah blah" She yawns loudly. "Relationships are weird. You just fight, and make out, then fight and make up. You either marry the person or you break up with them."

Jayden licks his mouth clean of some water droplets and looks up at her. "Chill out, Cici. It's not like there's a whole squad coming at us right now." He stands up and pads towards her, tail flicking behind him.

Cici huffs at him, irritated at his comment. "Don't tell me to chill out." She then smirks. "You're awfully chill for someone whose ex is about to become our next healer." She says, shrugging dramatically. "I mean, if it were my ex, I would be super anxious that they wouldn't want to heal me. Especially if it was my fault we broke up."
Jayden laps at the river water quietly, in his mountain lion form. He eyes the water as he does so. The past few days had been a whirl and he was musing over them. Elauna definitely wasn't happy with him, but he felt indifferent. It didn't matter, but the situation with Destin was still rocky. He needed to be able to go be with the Rabins, as planned.

Cici glances around and huffs. "You're taking too long to get a damn drink of water." She paces around her fellow Brom, kicking at rocks. She shoots a glare across the river. "We're supposed to be on patrol to see if the Rabins are trying to cross to get Destin back. Not spend vacation here." She snaps.

Aya lets out a sigh of relief. "Sorry! I should never have doubted you Sacha." She presses her index fingers together anxiously. "A small group, you say? Uh... I know I'm not much of a fighter, but maybe a situation like this doesn't really need to be a battlefield. How about recon? I could scope out the area as a hawk maybe?" She looks hopefully at Sacha. "I felt so useless being held a knife point. I want to be able to help him now."

Sacha nods. "You really shouldn't have." She teases. She then nods sympathetically to her friend. "That was a cheap shot by that Brom. We literally couldn't do anything even though we outnumbered them..." She shakes her head, that fight was done. "Okay. Let me scrounge up some arrows and you go get another person to come with us."
Aya walks inside with her fists clenched. She gets to the topic the moment she stands in front of her leader. "Sacha, you're going to help Destin, aren't you?" She stares straight at Sacha, her heart pounding at the thought of the defenseless boy being kept on the other side of the river.

Sacha raises an eyebrow a bit amused at Aya's show of assertiveness. She then nods, crossing her legs to tie her shoelace. "Aya, I don't know why you would even have an ounce of doubt to the contrary. Destin is a good friend of mine and nothing would ever come between me nad helping a friend." She gets to her feet and puts her hands on her hips. "I'm thinking of taking a small group, two or three including me, and going into the Brom territory to scope out what's going on with him."
Aya walks up to Sacha's tent and waits at the entrance. She feels the need to some way announce her presence. If only tents had doors like houses did. Was Sacha even in? After thinking about it, Aya decides to call out uncertainly. "Um, Sacha? Can I please talk to you?"

Sacha glances up. "Of couse Aya, come on in." She pulls a sweatshirt on and sits on her cot to wait for her healer to walk in.
After Sacha sees Jett to his tent, she heads towards her own tent to grab a few things before going on patrol.
The doctor nods to the both of them and begins to walk further into the centre, gesturing for them to follow. They eventually come to a small room with a medical table and a nurse awaiting them. "I'd like to give you a full examination to check your vitals, Ptelea, but we will start with fixing up your hands. Ambrose, you have minor injuries, so we will tend to you later."

Ambrose nods and sits against a wall, facing them. "Just help my sister..."

Ptelea nods and holds her hand out to the doctor. "It hurts."

A doctor with a kind face walks up to the both of them. "Ptelea and Ambrose, yes? I have received instructions to tend to the two of you. Please, follow me."

Ptelea looks at the doctor. She frowns worriedly but walks over to the doctor.

Ambrose nods "we are."
Tomithy shrugs. "Sorry guys, not my call. Someone else will take care of you. Maybe my bro! Maybe one of the other nice nurses. Just take care of each other, you here?" He gives them a farewell wave and, with his jacket tossed over his head, walks out into the rain.

Ptelea begins crying as he leaves. She scoots away from her brother watching Tomithy leave them.

Ambrose sighs heavily, shaking hs head. How was he supposed to protect Ptel when she didn't trust him anymore?
