Avery sat silently in a tree adjacent to the monster. She waited impatiently for the right moment... Using her quick reflexes to her advantage, she grabbed a shuriken and flung it at the beast. It glided thought the air and planted itself in the monster's head. Black blood trickled from the deep cut and the monster shrieked, turned around and lunged for Avery. She lifted her gun and shot, not causing as much damage as she would have hoped. However, it stumbled back, giving them more time. She leaped out of the tree, landing with a thud.

Ashlyn shrugged. If he was telling the truth, she wouldn't be alone. If he was lying...well, she was going to die anyway, one way or another. She walked in the direction of the flare, knife in hand.

Ashlyn swore as the bullet skimmed her head. "What do you want?!" She snapped, taking a stance and searching for any signs of the man approaching. In the darkness, she couldn't see him so had to watch her back.

lights his pipe and throws the lit match on the backpack. "have fun boy, i know i will, if you want vengeance or something find me at the school, ill reward your bravery" he leaves the machete there and takes his bayonet back. in his mind he thinks, "right back home to the school"after walking back to his half working electric bicycle he was on his way to the high school to check on his friends.when he got to the school he noticed chater coming from inside and saw the back door wide open.... he loaded 2 shots into his shot gun and gave his M9 a new mag. he placed a new stinger in his sleeve (he has like a bag full of them) and unlocked the door to the school dragging his bayonet on the lockers as he walked down the hall, shouting in a mocking fashion "come-out come-out wherever you are?!"

Ashlyn hid, listening for signs of people entering. She heard a man's voice and froze, silently loading her gun. Pressing herself up against the wall, she peeked around the corner and saw a shadow of a body. Stepping out, she fired.
