Brooke watched with awe as Sara's muscles grew incredibly fast, then picked up the impossibly heavy weight. That was really cool! Then Leo volunteered for the next demonstration, and Brooke eagerly awaited the next exhibition. As Sara tossed the disc to Leo, Brooke saw movement out of the corner of her eye. Another orphan, a boy with a white jacket and a streak of grey in his brown hair, was quietly leaving the room. He had looked to be about her age. Brooke glanced around again, but nobody else seemed to have noticed that he was gone. He'd miss the rest of Power Development if he didn't come back soon.

Normally, Brooke wouldn't have taken the initiative to approach someone, but the words of the driver echoed in her head: You can make new friends. She still didn't know how to make friends, but Brooke decided that, just this once, it wouldn't hurt to try. If they were quick, maybe they could be back in time for Sara's demonstration. She slipped out through the gym doors after him, footsteps quiet on the floor. The boy was sitting on the floor outside the gym, curled up with his arms wrapped around his legs.

"Hello? You'll miss power development," Brooke said.

Wait. That was the wrong order. According to her aunt, you were supposed to introduce yourself to people before you started talking to them.

"I'm Brooke," she tried again. "What's your name?"

Alphys relaxed when she say Undyne's smile. She was still new to the whole relationship thing, and she tended to get anxious very easily. Nonetheless, Alphys was improving over time, and for the moment Undyne had enough confidence for the both of them.

"Thanks," Alphys said as she drizzled syrup on her pancakes. "Your food is, um...it's really good!" She passed the syrup to Undyne.

The pancakes were fluffy and sweet, the bed warm and soft. It was so nice to be able to experience simple joys like breakfast in bed with your awesome fish lady. Everything was so peaceful now. Alphys could access the human internet all she wanted, and had indeed caught up on all the new seasons of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie that hadn't turned up in the Waterfall garbage. She also had a new job - after being fired from the position of royal scientist, she found a job at another lab almost immediately. Her hours were pretty flexible, so she could still spend time with her friends whenever she wanted.

"Did you have any plans for today?" Alphys inquired as she finished off the last of her pancakes. If Undyne had something to do that day, Alphys didn't want to keep her from it.

Thanks for clarifying about the different times! Still a little confused, but we can probably sort it out somehow...

It seems that everyone is out of the Underground, since a lot of posts mention the sun.
Bump? Is this RP dead?

I take a deep breath, then knock on the door. I need to find out who these people are, and what they want. If nothing else, I know where my ship was - maybe I can use that as a bargaining chip.
I'm kind of confused now: What time is it in the RP?

Quietly, I try the door to see if it's locked. If it is, I hide to the side of the door, so that I'll be hidden behind it when it opens, and wait for someone to come in. Maybe I'll be able to take them by surprise and escape.

As I'm about to start down the left path, I hear a remote, indistinct sound from the direction we had come. I would have dismissed it as Josh and Jason talking, but it sounded like a female voice. After a few moments, I hear a different person start a conversation, though I'm too far away to make out the words. Harley seems to have noticed the sound as well.

"Yeah, I heard. Do you want to go back? I think that might have been the last person waking up - we could check on them." I say in reply.

If the voice had belonged to the previously-sleeping person, she's probably disoriented and confused right now - I want to make sure that she's doing alright. Even if she isn't, I'm not sure that I can do anything to help, but at least she'd have all of us with her instead of being here alone. Also, I'd been ambivalent about splitting up in the first place, and this is a good chance to get the group together again. After all, we have a better chance of getting out if we can communicate with each other and cooperate.

"Ok, the left path it is," I agree. "Let's go."

It seemed as likely to be correct as going right, and if it wasn't, we could just turn back and try the other one, assuming that we didn't get lost. Eventually, we would have to go back to the garden - even if we found the exit, we'd need to tell Jason, Josh, and the sleeping person - but we could explore some more first.

Alphys eyed the pancakes as Undyne left. On the one hand, she wanted to wait for Undyne so that they could share the pancakes together. On the other hand, Undyne had told her that she could eat. After a few moments of indecision, she decided to do as Undyne had said, and dug into her pancakes. The first bite was pure happiness - pancakes were way better than instant ramen and the other kinds of food she usually ate.

After an unusually long time, Undyne returned with another plate and a large bottle of syrup. She seemed to be staring at Alphys' plate. Uh oh. Should Alphys have eaten less? More?
