OTL, I defo understand how you feel. I think most of us will be starting school then ;A; farewell home cooked meals and hugs and family, hello dorm. URGHHH. May we all live long and happy lives 8D

Andddd posted! It's another chance to get to know everyone better xD

This couldn't be it? There had to be more to this cabin, there was always more to the things in Nowhere.

Harper stood by Avian, a look of confusion plastered to his face. "Do you think we can find a secret switch or something?" He took a hesitant step into the dilapidated cabin and peered around. It was an absolute mess, but it looked normal, as if there was nothing else to it. "I always thought a witch would have more tools and potions," he looked towards Martini and Brandy. "Do you think there might be a hidden room."

The thought of heading deeper into the creepy place wasn't a nice one, but now that the witch was gone, it felt less frightening.

"Might as well check, right?" Riley turned to Ace with a smile, "and if we can't find anything Ace and I could always burn the place down."

"W-What? No!" Harper's eyes grew the size of dinner plates and he gave the guides a desperate look, as if begging for them to back him up on this one. "The dragon rider and the baby dragon could be in this house. What kind of suggestion is that?" He ended up laughing a little. The boy narrowed his eyes at both girls. "Please don't light the house on fire."

"Man," the fire mage puffed up her cheeks. "I was only kidding." The girl placed both hands on Ace's shoulder and chuckled. "You two both have the swords though, so if a door doesn't open or something, just meh, slice through?"

With that said, the girl left the front lines and dropped in on Lesley's and Leila's conversation. "Mhm, you won't find a braver dragon rider around, Lesles. Y'know, back in the mansion, we found this secret hall behind a bookshelf, and you know what Leila did?" Riley gestured wildly with her hands, a silly grin stuck to her face. "Well, she charged in like it was freaking nothing." She gave the dragon tamer a thumbs up then continued walking around the house, looking for some sort of switch or button.

"Hey, Jasper, Inadi, you guys busy?" Riley began peering underneath dusty beds and tables. The girl motioned for them to join her, "if you were a witch, where would you keep your secret switches or trap doors?"

Meanwhile, Hakuren and Leon joined up with the guides and both Harper and Ace. The wind mage grumbled about how dusty everything was but helped out in the search for the switch. "If any one told me I would be slaying witches in the year 2014, I would have laughed, I bet you all would have to." It wasn't like Leon to talk about himself, but these were people he had faced death with and just talking, it helped kill the silence. "Hey, what were you guys doing during that last day of 2013?"

"Getting sentimental, queen Leon?" Hakuren opened a couple of drawers, but they were filled with nothing but dust and junk. Haku could have chosen to remain silent but in the end he answered the question. "Nothing, it was just another day."

"Sheesh queen Elsa, you sound like the life of the party." Leon laughed before rolling his eyes at his friend. "I was at one of my father's boring new year parties." He shrugged, continued looking around then waited for some sort of response from the others. It wasn't anything big, but it would help them understand each other a bit more, and it was like seeing another puzzle piece of everyone's lives.

Harper was checking a creaky floorboard. "I was supposed to celebrate it with my family, but I couldn't stand the hospital, so I left to get some air." He felt a pang of guilt, but it was great to be able to just admit it.

"Are we having some sort of confession thing?" Riley arched an eyebrow and ended up smiling. "The folks invited me back home, I don't know why I refused, I guess it had something to do with a pretty argument, so I spent the night out with friends instead," she shrugged a little. "I guess the saying about regret coming last is true." She let out a rather awkward chuckle then continued on with the search. "But meh, time waits for no one." The girl was curious about what the others had been up to as well.
Good luck with midterms and everything Rex! Go kick some academic butt!

>:) Lucien might just get his revenge, AHAHAHAHA. Cats can see in the dark right 8D?

Edit: Gonna work on a post :D

Edit edit: Posted :D
It's the power of love, Four. Don't underestimate it, for it knows no bounds. *Dramatic music*

//shot and thrown off a cliff

I'm going to work on a quick reaction post :)! Treat it as another cycle guys, and after everyone gets a post up we'll put an end to the downtime and continue with our main objective. Let's go save Floofeh, Toby, Ran, and the rider! *Cheers*
D'awww, awesome job you guys! (^w^)/ Those posts were epic.

;A; Lesley's had some feels. I love how everyone is so worried about him. Gah, this is too adorable, especially his interaction with Leila <3

Lesley said Growing up as an only child would get quite lonely most of the times and he wondered if this was how it felt like to have siblings. It was that sort of feeling that made one feel fluffy and tingly, wanted and cared for. For all the times in his childhood when he couldn't spend it with a blood related friend, he had gotten it all back just being with these guys. Lesley was really starting to feel like they were family.

ANON, WHY DO YOU DO THIS? WHY? D: *Hugs everyone*

Also, dang, nice banners! I agree with Kimchi, banner three defo fits. It just screams "I know you want me ;)!" //shot

So far all the humans have posted >w<)/! I was planning to go ahead and make a move-along-post that would lead them to a secret switch, but I think we need an extra round of downtime for some back and forth interaction. Sounds okay?

And Ryver, Thunder, I hope you guys aren't bored to death yet xD we might take a tad longer, but thanks a lot for the patience <3

How are you all doing :)? I hope the mornight is treating everyone well.
*Attempts pirate speech and fails horribly*

Aye, the captain be right on the mark! We've still got some filthy rats to skewer and city to save. *Raises rifle* This be for Waterdeep, arrr!

But yeah ^^ we can't leave everything to the captain, so the least we can do is post on time and try to get things sailing.
Posted ^^ and Rex, I had Fabian dodge the barrage of bullets by a stroke of luck. I'll have him get hit next time, hope you don't mind :)

The Academy of Arts - Northern Section

Aside from the dim moonlight that shone through the windows, it was dark in the theater room. It was a good thing Dalia could sense auras.

Marcus talked about locking the doors, and it was a very good idea. If they could block all the exits, then surely they would finally manage to catch the masked phantom. Xan peered into the darkness, it was impossible to see anything besides shadowy outlines. The girl held out her prosthetic in front of her, it had taken the form of a hammer. Slowly, she walked down one of the aisles, eyes flitting from row to row.

This thief was very sneaky...

Just as she made her way towards the stage, there was crash followed by a muffled thud. The mettalurgist spun around, only to be greeted by the outline of the chairs closest to her. "Is everyone alright?" Her eyebrows furrowed in concern. "Did anyone see anything?"

“Stop being a coward and fight us face to face!”

Psh, coward shwamard, this was simply called playing smart. Fabian wanted to laugh so badly, but didn't because he was outnumbered and everyone besides the kid was a giant. He remained crouched behind several bushes and observed the man intently. Fabian was so absorbed in what he was doing that when Granny asked him how he was doing he nearly fell back in fright. Fababy, oh how he hated being called that. "Oi,oi, I can take care of myself grandma." He kept his voice low.

What was it with everyone always asking about his well-being? Cuss this, he could handle himself just as well as she could.

He fumbled with the several pouches attached to his belt and wondered which little gadget he ought to try next. Maybe that bomb that made a loud, sharp sound when it hit the ground. It was cussing irritating, but it didn't do much.

While he was debating his next move, a foul stench caught him off guard and Fabian nearly choked on his own spit. The boy clamped both hands over his nose and crawled away just in time to avoid a barrage of bullets. These guilders had guns and all sorts of gizmos too? CUSS IT, JUST CUSS IT! He had horrible luck. The boy hopped to his feet, thankfully his NV mask gave him some sort of advantage.

A breeze began rustling the bushes around and it sort of worked out in his favor.

The girl was still shooting at the last place he had been in and the man was nearby so Fabian crept up behind Lute and depantsed him. Then as soon as that was over he grabbed a stink bomb, jumped, and shoved it into Lute's shirt. "See ya Stinker!" The boy shoved the depantsed man forward then swiftly spun around to throw down a smoke bomb.

The feather Jasper passed around was practically a medical miracle. Wounds that would have taken stitches and at least weeks to mend on their own just vanished instantly before Hakuren eyes. Torn flesh would reconstruct and the only thing that would remain was a blotchy pink scar where the wound should have been. He couldn't help but laugh a little. "This is something not even biology teachers will be able to explain, ain't that right Leila?" His eyes flitted towards the healer and smirk tugged on the corner's of his lips. "If we sell Bear to science, we could definitely make quite a hefty sum of money."

"I'll be alright now," Harper mumbled as he pulled away from Hakuren. "Thanks."

"You sure about that, Riddle?" Hakuren snickered, "I'm always willing to help damsels in distress."

Harper's eyebrows furrowed in irritation. "Yeah...thanks for the help." For some reason, Hakuren's humor always managed to rub him the wrong way. Maybe it was because the older boy was always making a mockery out of things, or maybe it was how Haku lacked genuine concern for the safety of those around him. Harper couldn't put a finger on it, but something about Hakuren just managed to get on his nerves.

He turned to look at Songbird and Brandy, while Avian was up front and Martini was on the soldier's back, and the two other guides had decided to trail behind the group. "Thanks a lot for your help." The boy then attempted to jog towards the front portion of the group, only for a sharp pain in his side to stop him. In the end, Harper settled for brisk walking and it was only then that his eyes landed on Lesley's missing hand.

He could have lost a lot more than just that, he could have died and they could have died too. "I'm sorry," how lame was that? It wouldn't bring Lesley's hand back, but there wasn't a lot to say. What could he say anyway? Harper tore his gaze from Lesley and focused on the empty shed they had surrounded. "There's nothing here." The door was wide open from when the giant blob of a zombie had staggered out. "It's just an empty house," he turned to look at the others and sighed. "No sign of the dragon."
No worries Anon, nighty night ^^! Also guys, I'm going to get a Harper post up. No worries, it won't be a move-along-post, just something to help propel the search forward. Feel free to search the house and whatnot :)
